546 Performance issues
Vincent was actually reading the text box of the reputation gain and Promised Quest without saying the trigger word, but to others, Vincent was keenly looking at Anna as if he was attracted to her.
Vincent removed the windows and released the handshake hastily. He respectfully apologized for staring at Anna and smoothly changed the subject by saying, “We still haven’t talked about Feng ngli, haven’t we, Duke Lucas.”
“Hehe.” Lucas chuckled while his gaze showed he knew Vincent was using him to change the subject.
The carriage stopped, and the coachman notified of their arrival.
The curtains were closed, and they kept anyone from finding out who the passengers were. Additionally, because of the significant topics discussed, it was challenging to know how long the trip took.
As Lucas opened the curtain on his side, the view of the sky felt refreshing to Vincent. He could finally take a break from the current nerve-wracking and unbelievable situation.
“Looks like we are here.” Lucas opened the door and continued, “This is my mansion that I want to transport to another area I bought.”
“Huh? Transport this building now?” Vincent beca shocked after finding out there was another place to visit before being sent ho.
Vincent cald himself and exited the carriage. In front of him was a vast land. It was approximately two to three tis the size of the Erald Lionheart Mansion’s land.

Vincent turned around and discovered how he was approximately in the middle of the enormous property. South was the entrance gate, and on each of the West, North, and East side were one large mansion with a luscious garden and a path for carriages to pass.
At the center, the current place Vincent was standing, was a larger mansion with a large pond. When Kazumi left Vincent’s body to go up in the sky and have a better view, Kazumi compared the center mansion similar to a massive roundabout-like mansion.
“This is the center mansion and the one I use.” Lucas looked at the pond and smiled. “I was trying to catch a fish when I received the report of your arrival.”
“Haha. The report gave a good laugh.” Lucas smacked Vincent’s back and continued, “No ordinary person would fight against a vice-captain before setting foot inside the city.”
“Is that why the royal soldiers ca to solve the situation?” Vincent asked.
“Yes. I knew at that ti Feng ngli really liked to give entertainnt. It would’ve been a sha to put that kind of entertainnt in prison.” Lucas smirked and asked, “Isn’t that so?”
“Y-yeah...”

“Lucas. Why do you want to relocate your mansion?” Asked Anna curiously.
“I like to fish, but I have beco tired of this small pond. I have bought another property and made a large area with water. There I can put in more fish.” Lucas chuckled and joked, “Maybe I can get a rmaid to take care of the fish and sing songs.”
“That sounds wonderful.” Said Anna with a pleasant smile, giving the impression Anna wanted to et a rmaid.
Vincent had a conflicted expression. *Gulp* He mustered his courage and asked, “Wouldn’t it be better to let the rmaid be free and rejoin her family?”
Anna shook her head, and her expression looked unhappy.
“It is not as you think, Vincent. Even if we are a peace with the rfolk, those that were once a slave will be persuaded as land dwellers’ toys.”
Vincent looked at Lucas and understood what he was trying to explain. Similar to how elves don’t like half-elves, rfolk treats those with the slave curse as ticking ti bombs. They would not trust soone who could betray them one day.

“But I am your legs...” Bilka complained.
“I liked the idea Vincent said before. If Bilka is my land legs, then I need legs for the water and wings for the sky.” Said Anna, breaking Bilka’s heart.
‘This cunning human has influenced my angelic princess too much! If I get the chance, I want to send him crying to his horde of won.’ Bilka thought while glaring at Vincent as if she really wanted to punch him now.
“Ahem. How about we spend so ti fishing?” Suggested Lucas out of the blue.
“I like fishing. Last ti I caught a cute little fish. I loved how it returned to after I let it go.” Anna looked delighted to fish. On the other hand, Bilka kept glaring at Vincent with her facial expression showing, ‘Don’t you dare catch more fish than the princess.’
“I would love to catch fish, but because Sunday to too precious to , I would like to hurry up and spend what remains with my family. Mostly Sakura because she doesn’t co with us to the academy.”
“I... understand...” Anna responded with an apologetic tone. After hearing Vincent’s words, she understood Vincent had other things to do instead of spending ti with her.
“There is no need to look, sad princess.” Lucas looked at Vincent and winked. “We can invite Vincent and his wives to fish next ti. Vincent will be able to spend ti with you and his wives at the sa ti.”
“Spend ti with the princess...”
“I would love that.”
While Anna liked the idea, Bilka looked like a defeated person now. No one was listening to her complaints.
[Hehe. Looks like you do not have a say on this matter. I guess we are going to see the princess more than we expected.]

Vincent went in front of the mansion and closed his eyes. The intent started to spread all around the mansion, and Vincent could perceive what was inside and the approximate size of the mansion.
Vincent tried to store the mansion, but it gave him an error. There wasn’t enough space, and it didn’t help to have a lot of decorations and furniture inside.
