Vincent and Kazumi were surprised to see both the reputation and loyalty indicator without using Promised Quest or the Loyal Servant System.
In the contract, the Ponalis family were the ones who needed to provide different types of support, while the Lionheart brach family only needed to prove Tiffi, a teacher.
In other words, the contract made the Ponalis family offer so much that the Loyal Servant System was activated. Thanks to the loyalty system, Vincent and Kazumi could know Aceon and Tiffi’s overall thoughts about them.
The father and daughter combo were on a loyalty level that is on the good side. Even after the dangerous assassination event, the agreent to keep their alliance a secret was one of the factors to make them think it wasn’t a bad deal.
In one of the conditions, Aceon was only allowed to tell his friend Duke Bobstrider Von Milloween while Lilith only her mother as telling her father was a risk they didn’t want to take.
Vincent sat beside Aceon, and Lilith sat beside Tiffi. After the four spent so ti chatting about the academy, as Tiffi was now interested in joining, Kazumi saw Sofy leading a woman and two n who were dressed as if they were mages or healers.

Vincent moved his head and beca surprised to see a woman in her mid-fifties with black graying hair, brown eyes, and dark skin. The woman looked to be slightly taller than Vincent, and her elegant uniform gave the impression of similar standing to a royal soldier.
The closer the woman approached, following Sofy. The more golden parts beca visible and intimidating. The woman was possibly a high-ranked person, and it soon beca apparent that the two n were walking following her instead of letting her walk first as a coincidence.
The two n behind the woman with extruding authority were wearing white clothes with less golden trims than the woman. Their uniform was light to allow easy movent as well.
“Lord Vincent, Lady Lilith, and esteed guests. We have three esteed guests requesting to et the owners of the property and their esteed guests.” Sofy respectfully said, surprising Vincent, Lilith, and Kazumi as they bearly heard Sofy talk so respectfully from their first encounter until now.
Aceon suddenly stood up, and sweat appeared on his forehead. He looked flustered and made it seem as if one of the three soldiers were of a high ranking. On the other hand, Tiffi smiled warmly.
Aceon approached the woman and respectfully lifted her hand. He kissed her hand as a greeting and said, “The Ponalis family is honored to be in the presence of Duchess Karta Milloween, the strongest mage serving the great Lusterfal Kingdom and one of the protectors of the king.”
Aceon inford Vincent, Lilith, and Sofy by praising the woman in front of them. Karta not only was a Duchess and his friend’s wife, but she was the strongest mage in the army and also a royal guard like Duke Biro Hawkins’s father.
Vincent, Kazumi, and Sofy were surprised to unexpectedly et the woman who was at the peak of nobility.
Sofy quickly made a curtsy and took a few steps away from the influential person.
Vincent bowed respectfully and greeted, “I am Vincent Lionheart. I am honored to be in your great presence.”
Lilith respectfully made a curtsy and greeted, “I am Lilith Lionheart. I also am honored to be in your grand presence, duchess Karta.”
“Hmm. Young man, aren’t you going to greet like lord Aceon?” Karta asked.
[Vincent! Quickly kiss her hand, or you might look disrespectful!] Kazumi urged.
However, Vincent remained where he was. He suddenly placed a hand around Lilith’s waist and said, “I am afraid my wife will beco jealous if I kiss another woman in front of her.”
Lilith, Sofy, and Kazumi beca terrified to hear Vincent decline. On the other hand, Aceon sweated bullets as if he knew sothing others didn’t.
The two n behind Karta beca angry at the disrespectful decline Vincent gave. He even had the gall to use his wife as an excuse while holding her. However, they didn’t remain angry for long.
“Haha.” Karta suddenly laughed. She looked at Tiffi and said with a warm smile, “No wonder you don’t look scared after what happened. It is nice to see my little Tiffi healthy again.”
“Thank you, aunty... I an mother Karta. I wanted to visit when I was better.” Tiffi responded.
Tiffi’s words showed how difficult it was for Aceon to ask for great amounts of money from his friends. The two families appeared to be on great friendly terms, enough for Karta to let Tiffi call her mother instead of aunt.
Karta looked at Vincent. She crossed her arms and asked, “Why do I feel like I am treated differently? Is it because of my skin? ”
“Treated... differently?” Vincent asked.
Vincent didn’t greet Karta with a kiss on the back of her hand because he never practiced such greetings other than flirting with his wives. This was one of the reasons he refrained from possibly flirting with a mature married, and influential woman.
“Many dislike my skin because my parents immigrated to this city when I was a little girl.” Karta frowned and asked, “Do you dislike touching ?”
[Go and kiss her already!] Kazumi urged again.
Lilith beca worried and whispered, “I will not get jealous, so please greet one of the protectors of the kingdom respectfully.”
Tiffi stood up. She ran to Karta and embraced her arm. “Please stop bullying Lord Vincent and Lady Lilith. Your teasing is starting to make my father sweat already.”
Karta moved her gaze to Aceon and giggled. It appeared this scene was a common occurrence for the two families. Karta would tease while Aceon would nervously sweat as if he didn’t know when Karta was joking or being serious.
Karta gave Tiffi a head pat and asked everyone, “How many injured are there? My n will offer healing to those injured.”
“My two butlers are injured, but Lord Vincent’s wife gave them first aid, and they are in a better condition. ” Aceon explained.
“My wife and servant are resting, and they, fortunately, do not require healing. ” Vincent said. He didn’t want the two healers to see Sakura in the room with Ester and Zefine. He didn’t want any more unnecessary trouble today.
“Please follow . I will escort the two esteed guests to the injured.” Sofy offered. She soon left with the two soldiers following her.
Karta smirked at Vincent and said, “I have learned of three wives already. The beauty beside you, a wife versed in dicine and another resting. My, my, Lord Vincent Lionheart, my colleague, was right. You really are a unique and interesting person, as that perv said.”
[Wait... does this an we are safe?] Kazumi questioned.
“Jokes aside. I have taken care of little Tiffi for many years, like one of my own. I was too delighted with the news of her recovery that I sent a letter to the headmaster of the academy to let little Tiffi enter as soon as possible.”
Karta looked at both Vincent and Lilith warmly and continued, “I am thankful to the Lionheart family for saving her. If little Tiffi is accepted, can the two of you look out for her?”
“There is no need to worry about such matters. Lady Tiffi can visit us every day, and if given permission, Lady Tiffi can co ho with us every Sunday.”
Karta liked Vincent’s response. ‘Looks like I have to request more of from my temporary disciple, hehe.’ She thought with a faintly sly smile.
