465 Shed the skin and its past
Ester was half awake when she heard Vincent raise his voice. After recalling what happened yesterday, she woke up and looked at Lilith.
“An angel. ” Ester murmured while gazing at Lilith when seeing the silhouette of a voluptuous body illuminated by the sunlight. This was a surprise because she was too distraught to take a good look at Lilith.
“Lilith Lilith looks nice.” *Pho* Plow wagged her tails. She was curious to know how Lilith’s lap felt for a good afternoon nap.
It didn’t take long for Lupa and Iris to rush inside the bedroom. Soon, everyone in the bedroom saw the new Lilith warmly smiling at them as if yesterday’s ordeal had never happened. It was quite refreshing and relaxing to see.
“Kazumi told everything I need to know.” Lilith smiled and sat on the bed. She lowered her head and apologetically continued, “Now I feel bad that my wish to beco fit brought you trouble and worry.”
“You always looked beautiful to , Lilith. ” Vincent approached Lilith. He lifted a couple of golden strands of her hair and continued, “You beca attractive, but you are still the sa old Lilith. From an overweight beauty to a curvy beauty. Lilith, you are beautiful in any shape you take.”
“Ahem. Are we going to prepare? Or will we let Sofy wait for us?” Ester tried to change the subject, yet it was obvious Ester was finding it difficult getting used to the voluptuous curvy Lilith wearing a thin overweight nightgown.
Vincent smirked and went downstairs to prepare, leaving Lilith in the hands of Ester, Lupa, and Iris. He left the pocket cabin with Plow on his shoulder and looked down.
[You were right. Zero looks as if it has beco more intelligent. It had approached when I closed the door, and it was raising its tiny arms to be lifted.]

[How about asking Iris to give Zero a Seed Guardian’s seed to eat? It trait might change Zero to beco stronger.]
Vincent grinned at the suggestion. He lifted Zero from the ground and said, “Do you want to grow?”
“Y...” [Yes. Master.]
Vincent sat on the grass and waited. He bit one of his fingers and drew a small bead of blood. It surprised him to see the two inches tall Zero insert its tiny vine arms in the small bead of blood and consu it.
Plow wanted attention. She cutely snuggled with Vincent until he had to pet her. It was obvious she didn’t like Zero hogging all the attention.
Vincent turned his gaze on Zero again and made a discovery. Zero now appeared also to enjoy his altered human blood, yet the bead of blood didn’t disappear. As if the digestion rate of Vincent’s human blood was slower than his mutated blood, and Zero could slowly drink his blood.
‘Is this a blessing in disguise? Zero will not be able to suck dry in a matter of seconds.’ Vincent cheerfully considered.
Half an hour later...
The door opened, and Lupa, in her white wolf form, was the first to exit. She frowned after noticing Plow relaxed on Vincent’s lap, enjoying a belly rub.
Ester and Iris appeared next. They smiled as if they had fun helping Lilith wear her large overweight clothes.
Soon, Lilith appeared, and the reason beca clear. The large uniform was stretched to fit the curvy Lilith. It didn’t look too good, and Vincent tried his best not to comnt on how Lilith looked like a person cosplaying in a badly made uniform.
‘Maid Xu has a lot of work to do.’ Both Vincent and Kazumi thought.
Vincent got up and said, “I think you will be surprising everyone today. I have no doubt in my mind.”
“Yes. ” Lilith said while grinning. It was obvious how excited she was feeling right now.
Later, they t with Maria, who was waiting with an extensive long sigh. They arrived later than usual while Maria arrived early than usual after thinking the Lionhearts might decide to go ho earlier.
Maria couldn’t see Lilith quite clearly yesterday. She was both surprised and shocked to see Lilith looking stunning in a wrinkled and stretched uniform.
Not to ntion how Lilith looked like an eighteen old teen because of her young skin. The rebirth phase didn’t consider the effects of the curse a necessity to remove.
Lilith now looked both mature and young. She was similar to Vincent with his baby face making him look young as a teen.
“How are you feeling now?” Maria asked.
“Better and happier. I feel as if I returned to the past and regained the ten years I lost.” Lilith replied with a bright smile.
Everyone was surprised to hear this. They were happy that Lilith was happy.
*Sigh* “I talked to Honey, and she is going to apologize next ti you et.” Maria looked at Vincent. *Sigh* “Teacher Darwin wants to see you and Lilith on Monday morning after what happened on Paradise Island.”
Vincent understood that he had broken the rules.
Vincent hoped he wasn’t going to get expelled and leave Lilith in the academy. Kilo Blackheart might try sothing funny again.
After exchanging a few words, they went to et up with Sofy.
Sofy once again frowned and looked unhappy when she saw a new woman walking beside Vincent from a distance. Only after they got closer did Sofy’s frown turn into a surprise.
“Are... are you Lilith?” The baffled Sofy asked.
“Yes. ” Lilith answered with a refreshing smile.
Sofy also realized why Lilith’s parents called her little angel now.
*Erald Lionheart Mansion*
The mansion’s gate was being guarded by the half-sisters Eliara and Fliara.
While they opened the gate, they heard the carriage’s door open. When their gaze moved to the carriage, they couldn’t believe what their eyes saw a few ters in front of them.
“Lady Lilith?” Both asked, bewildered.
“Good morning. I have changed, didn’t I?” Lilith greeted while trying to understand how everyone looked at her now.
“Lady Lilith was cute before. Always smiling and happy. But your expression lacked sothing.” Eliara honestly said.
“My sister is right. A woman in love is always beautiful, but you appear to have gained what you lacked now.” Fliara also noticed.
“We are happy to see a complete smile.” Both half sisters said at the sa ti.
Their womanly intuition perceived how Lilith didn’t like how she looked, even if everyone around her accepted her. Watching Lilith now and her genuine smile showed the half-sisters how Lilith acquired what she yearned for.
Lilith beca happy to hear how the two beautiful and almost identical sisters from the sa father and a different twin mother accepted her past self for who she was.
Lilith went to hug the both of them together and told them how their words made her feel grateful to be surrounded by good people like them.
There was one thing Lilith didn’t want to reveal to anyone. Although she yearned to beco healthy and beautiful, and even if Vincent told her she could stay how she looked, the fat on her body reminded her of the ten years of suffering.
To Lilith, losing weight was the sa as being liberated from the mories of despair. When she looked in the mirror this morning, she saw herself in her teen years. That was the ti Lilith was the happiest before being saved, instead of the ten years married and trapped like a caged bird.
A couple of minutes later, Lilith bewildered Sakura and Maid Xu. One mainly waited for Lilith, while the other for Vincent.
“My lady... my young lady!” Maid Xu exclaid with tears of joy.
“What happened, sister? You look different and happy. Can humans lose a lot of weight and beco beautiful in a week’s ti?” Sakura, on the other hand, believed her understanding of humans barely scratched the surface.
Lilith didn’t utter a word. She went to hug Maid Xu, and the two cried tears of joy. Their past could now be forgotten as there was nothing bad left to recall about the ten years of suffering. Even the mansion that was their cage had beco a different place full of life and joy.
“Vincent, Lilith told us in the carriage how she wanted to visit her parents. Maria agreed to co with us and keep us safe if anything happened.” Ester inford Vincent before pushing him to Sakura.
“Go and have fun.” She continued after giving Vincent to Sakura.
[Maria will reassure us to a certain degree if she is going to accompany them.]
-Why?-
[Well... a street or two turning into winter with ice spells is the first thing that cos to mind. Ester blowing up an assassin and Lupa painting the streets red is the second thought.]

Vincent shook his head to forget such brutal thoughts.
“Lilith will be in all your hands now. ” Vincent looked at Sakura and continued, “Shall we go, my lady? I will explain what happened later.”
Kazumi left Vincent’s body and saw Vincent leave with Sakura. she stayed with Ester until they left for Lilith’s parents.
Kazumi felt sad that she couldn’t surpass the range limit of being apart from her anchor, which was Vincent’s body. She was curious to see Lilith’s parents’ expressions when they saw the new Lilith.
Kazumi followed the group and giggled at the bewildered expressions everyone showed.
Leah, Clara, and Beth went to hug Lilith and ntioned how they liked the previous Lilith because she was soft to hug. Olive and Lian later joined the group hug and agreed.
Unintentionally, everyone hugged Lilith, and it brought tears of joy to her eyes.
