353 The wedding after-party

Tula heard the comnt, and it didn’t bode well with her. “Big sister Sakura is very kind. Don’t be anies.” She defended Sakura and poked her tongue at the nobles.

Yula was about to have a heart attack watching her daughter doing such a disrespectful act to nobles.

“We live in the sa mansion with the demon Sakura. Sotis we forget she is of the demon race.” Fliara said.

“Sister is right. The demon Sakura is not a dangerous person, as everyone says. All she has is a different skin, a tail, horns, and very tall. ” Eliara added.

“This heroine sees nay wicked presence amongst us. The shell is not but a mortal vessel, and thus, an evil soul is what corrupts the mortal vessel. Thus, this heroine concludes that the demon shell the lady possesses is harmless as this heroine does not observe a wicked soul in mine sight.” Beatrix proudly said. Her snake nodded and hissed as if it agreed with her words.

Soon, both sides started to accept the wedding of a human and a demon. Their fear waned, and the acceptance of the marriage improved when Sakura stood beside Vincent, and they held each other’s hand.

In front of them, the frowning priest remained with a forced expression. No words from the guests appeased him.

Vincent raised on his toes, leaned his head, and whispered, “I promise to marry you, Sakura. I will do my best to protect you from harm and give you a good life. I will be by your side no matter what happens. We are your shelter.”

Promised Quest window appeared. Vincent closed the quest window and turned his gaze on the priest. He was cautious of the priest’s actions. Kazumi was also paying attention to the priest to be safe.

.....

“Please start. The quicker you are, the faster you can leave and stop feeling bad about my beautiful woman.” Vincent said. He didn’t like the look on the priest’s face. Iris’s wedding was pushing the limit with the priest’s frown. Now it was making Vincent angry.

The music stopped for the marriage to begin.

*Sigh...* The priest looked as if he was being threatened while proceeding with the marriage. The priest hurried, and the fifth wedding reached the final phase in about half the duration of the previous weddings.

Vincent raised Sakura’s thin veil. He looked up as Sakura was the only woman taller than him. She looked nervous as she smiled. It made Vincent feel Sakura was afraid the wedding might stop because of her presence.

“You will soon be mine. So only look at the angry priest and .” Vincent whispered.

When Vincent mocked the priest, Sakura smirked. She felt slightly better, and the extra nervousness caused by the priest weakened.

Soon, Vincent and Sakura said their vows, exchanged the rings, and later kissed, marking the completion of the fifth wedding.

In the past week, Vincent never took the ti to sit down and ask Sakura about her family or at least their nas.

Vincent tried his hardest to help Sakura fit in and make her feel at ho that he forgot to ask about her family. Reading the nas of her brothers and father made Vincent realize this.

[All the brides beca wives at last. The harem is now officially mine... I an yours.]

-I haven’t forgotten about you, Kazumi. I will wear your ring later to keep the third place saved for you.-

[Thank you.]

Kazumi beca overjoyed. Vincent didn’t forget about her. She spun in circled around Wolfie while Freerie all followed her. Kazumi’s excitent made them feel like playing.

Leonis went to the middle and said, “Thank you for your attendance. Please follow the maids to the garden for the celebration party. We will join everyone soon.”

The guests started standing up. So nodded their heads, and others smiled while leaving to the garden. Tula placed Plow between her arms and went with her brothers to the garden.

Soon, the husband, the wives, Teresa, and Leonis, were the only people remaining. There was no one to hear their conversation.

Lilith’s parents asked if their daughter was cured. Vincent wanted to respond truthfully, but he had to lie. Leonis could not be told of Vincent’s otherworldly identity.

So, Vincent stated that he gave Lilith certain items to start curing all her harmful conditions in the past week. Fortunately, to his surprise, the build-up of his treatnt allowed Lilith to awaken, and she was cured faster than he thought.

Leonis frowned as it sounded like a lie. He started to doubt if the truth was so unbelievable that it sounded like a lie. However, as Vincent declared a week ago, his wife acted as if she knew what Vincent was doing to cure their daughter.

Leonis beca grumpy. He was left out of the important details, yet he couldn’t help it. Nevertheless, he still didn’t want to believe it was a coincidence either.

Leonis pulled out an Inspection Gemstone and placed it is daughter’s hands. He wanted to confirm with his eyes first.

“My little angel. Your mother and I wish to know. Are you cured, or did Vincent cheat us to beco a noble?” He looked at Lilith nervously, and his heart was racing from the fear of her curse lingering in her body.

“Father, please trust Vincent. But I also want to see. ” Lilith said with excitent. She was interested to see her class and condition.

‘How much did I change? Can I eat normally now? Which food should I try first? But I have to lose weight... Or can I start fasting tomorrow?’ She was questioning herself in her thoughts.

Lilith held the gemstone tightly, and it activated. Soon a hologram appeared with all the stats and skills apart from the Soul Synch stat. She was cured of all harmful conditions at last.

Teresa and Leonis hugged their daughter, and tears of happiness rained on Lilith’s shoulders. The three of them hugged each other tightly.

They needed so space and ti alone. Vincent, Ester, Lupa, Iris, and Sakura smiled and let the three of them spend a little alone ti together.

Later, the tears of joy stopped, and the parents were ready to converse with the guests with a radiant smile on their faces. Teresa explained that the remaining duties were eting the guests, conversing, and cutting the wedding cake.

The most anxious out of all of them was Lilith. She was more anxious than Iris and Sakura. After ten years of barely eating, she could now eat like an ordinary living being. She can eat a normal portion and get fat at the sa rate as everyone else.

Lilith was worried she might get drunk on food. She also worried her hand might never stop trying everything in front of her eyes.

Lilith forgot about the dozens of gazes that were going to be looking at her. However, as she wasn’t the only wife, not all attention was on her.

Vincent, his wives, and Lilith’s parents entered the garden shortly. Iris and Sakura knew they stuck out like a sore thumb. One was a gray demigoblin, while the other was a tall and strong-looking demon. Both tried their best to muster their courage.

Vincent decided to start clockwise, starting from the easiest table to the hardest table.

Sofy, Leah, Clara, Beth, Olive, Lian, and Tula were sitting beside the table where Plow, Tusk, and Nix were relaxing comfortably on soft cushions. They said their congratulations and ntioned how they couldn’t wait to try new food. They also ntioned how Lilith looked like an angel.

The next table had Yula, Lenn, Renn, Fliara, Eliara, Maid Xu, Ben, and his wife. Maid Xu congratulated Lilith after such a surprising awakening. She wanted to help, but she was ordered to enjoy the occasion.

Ben and his wife saw one or two demons in their lives. A demon in a wedding dress was a new one. However, as they asked Yula about Sakura, their opinion changed. They accepted Sakura, yet it might take so ti to beco comfortable around her.

After exchanging a few words, they left for the next table.

Ollie, Beatrix, Abigail, Bartholow, Belowin, their mothers, and Fabio sat at the next table. They congratulated Vincent and his wives. Beatrix praised Lilith for looking like an angel at her wedding.

As they exchanged words, it appeared the mothers of Ollie, his siblings, and cousins didn’t tell them about the multiple brides and the appearance of a goblin and demon bride. Their mothers didn’t inform them of the unique and morable wedding.

The next table had the Sunrise family and the Graymoon family. Both families congratulated the marriage and the class awakening. They ntioned how it was their first ti seeing a woman of the goblin or demon race marry.

Thankfully, Byron asked Sakura a few questions about how she thought of the workshop. Sakura smiled, thinking about work. She replied enthusiastically, and as the two shared their opinions, Vopor, Vikki, Victor, and Nick felt less threatened by Sakura’s presence.

“My workers told a demon lives with the Lionhearts. But, haha.” Byron drank a cup of wine and his cheeks were already turning red.

“They beca angry when they returned. The hours of emotional preparation they spent to et the scary demon were wasted because she wasn’t as they expected, haha.” Byron pulled another glass of wine and took a sip before continuing, “They told she is very strong, considerate, and she even helped in the construction.”

Byron might beco drunk on wine soon at this rate.
