251 The past of a caged woman

Vincent nodded at the response of his harem. He went over to Lian and Olive and asked them to lay a few blankets for everyone to sleep on.

Maid Xu gasped. After Vincent’s words produced multiple hopeful ideas, Maid Xu was stuck in a montary daze. When she snapped out of it to ask Vincent, he was already lying on a blanket with his eyes closed. He appeared to be sleeping after a long tireso.
Lupa happily rested beside Vincent. When she saw Maid Xu approach, Lupa thought the maid wanted to steal her place.
“Go away, human! This place is mine.” Lupa glared at Maid Xu as if she was about to do sothing unforgivable to the poor wolf girl.
Lian and Olive thought it was fun. They giggled and rushed to sleep beside Vincent’s left side.
Maid Xu took a step back at the strange turn of events. Maid Xu turned her head to the last one awake and asked about the validity of Vincent’s words. Ester nodded with a smile. Then she lowered to sleep beside Iris.
Maid Xu scratched her head and sat in front of the campfire. She pondered and mumbled a lot about the many life-changing things all happening in one day.
Kazumi heard every word Maid Xu said because curiosity overwheld her. Kazumi invisibly floated beside Maid Xu until the elf maid went to sleep a few minutes later.
‘This maid is a good gal. She keeps worrying about Lilith and doesn’t worry about her current predicant. But I hope this day will not change Vincent more than he changed. I miss the naive, timid Vincent of the past.’ Kazumi looked at Vincent and all the people he gathered around him.
‘Well, guard duty for it is. ‘ She thought while going back into Vincent’s soul domain.
*Day 66 – Early morning*
Vincent yawned and opened his eyes. The dark morning sky of the next day greeted his sight.
Vincent heard two female voices he had never heard before. He turned his head and saw Ester and Maid Xu informing the two adventurers what had happened to them. By their tone and reactions, the two didn’t seem to rember what happened after they felt very strange.
[Iris woke up a few minutes ago. She went with Lupa, Lian, and Olive to the goblin graves.]
[Those two won woke up recently as well. I didn’t want to wake up so that you could have a good rest, but it seems the commotion is a bit loud.]

Vincent got up and looked around. However, Lupa, Iris, Lian, and Olive weren’t at the goblin’s grave sight.
‘I hope Lupa doesn’t trouble Iris. Did they go to get the horses?’ Vincent thought as he changed direction and headed toward Ester and the other three won.
Vincent focused his gaze and checked the two won’s condition, stats, and nas.

Vincent looked at Maid Xu and instructed, “Take care of these two adventurers. I think they will be hunted if they are reported as dead by Viscount Del Blackheart in order to have them sold as slaves without a hassle.”
