Another knight admitted, "Yeah... it’s true. He was able to ta a Wyvern? No human has ever done that. Beast tars can only control birds or so weaker creatures."

Nolan looked at the knights calmly. "Well, can I be on my way?"

The knights were still murmuring nervously among themselves, unable to focus after witnessing the King Wyvern and its tar.

"Well, you guys can keep talking about how scared you were of the wyvern," Nolan said. "But I think I’ll be going now."

"Wait!" one knight called, stepping forward. "Don’t go! We still need to talk to you." He reached out and grabbed Nolan’s arm.

Nolan looked down at the hand on him, his eyes sharp. "Let go," he said coldly. The knight’s grip loosened imdiately, fear flashing across his face. Nolan walked past him without another word. None of the knights dared to stop him again.

Lyra glanced at him as they walked. "I rarely see you get angry. Even though it hasn’t been that long since we t."

"The only reason I was pissed," Nolan muttered, "is because they were delaying . Before nightfall, I need to et Luka and get myself a house. I can’t stay in the sa room with beautiful won."

Lyra raised an eyebrow. "What are you trying to say? Isn’t that every man’s dream?"

"Well, not mine," Nolan replied. "I just want a happy and normal life."

Lyra gave a small laugh. "Did you forget? The life we’re going to live is far from normal."

"Maybe," Nolan said quietly.

After walking for a while, they reached the guild. Nolan imdiately spotted Ella, who greeted him warmly before he headed straight to Lucan’s office.

"Hey, I need a house. The best one you can get ," Nolan said bluntly.

"What’s your budget?" Lucan asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I’m not sure how much it’s going to cost, but tell . How much will I need for a good house?"

"At least two million gold coins," Lucan answered.

"That’s fine. It’s in my pouch. Take it," Nolan said, handing over the money.

Lucan accepted the pouch with a nod and then led Nolan outside, where a man who specialized in selling houses was waiting. After a brief exchange, Lucan left them, and the man guided Nolan and Lyra through the streets of Sindra.

Finally, they stopped in front of a massive estate.

"Here it is," the man said proudly. "This is one of the best houses in Sindra. And with your budget, it’s already paid for."

Nolan stared up at the towering structure in shock. "This isn’t a house... this is massive. How is it this big?"

"It used to belong to a duke," the man explained.

Lyra’s mouth fell open as she looked at the towering walls and grand gates. "This isn’t just a house. This is a castle."

The man, who had accompanied them, whistled. "It’s gigantic. Honestly, it’s perfect."

Nolan crossed his arms and gave a small nod. "Well, looks like it’s just the four of us living here.

Yeah, it’s such a large compound, exactly like a castle," Nolan said. "For us to be living here, in this massive house... it feels strange, but at the sa ti, it’s amazing. It’s so, so big. I wonder how many rooms there are inside."

"Well, you can go see for yourself," lyra replied. "Is there furniture and beds already in it?"

"Yes, there are. The two million already covered that. The furniture cos with the house for the sa price," the man explained.

"Wow, but that’s still a lot of money I spent on this house," Nolan said, glancing around. Then he smiled. "But it’s one hundred percent worth it. I feel like I’m going to live like royalty."

"Here, take the key to the house," the man said. "You can sign right here. Or better yet, let’s step inside. Bring this book and pen, and you can sign the final docunts inside."

Nolan hesitated for a mont, then nodded. "Alright."

"There," the man continued, handing over a small bag. "The paperwork for the house, along with every other docunt you’ll need, is inside. From this mont, it’s officially yours."

Nolan accepted it and glanced through the papers, a slow smile spreading across his face. "Good." He stretched out his hand, and the man shook it firmly.

"Wow... so this is my house now. My first house," Nolan whispered to himself. His heart swelled with emotions he hadn’t felt in years. "In my previous world, I was nothing. I could barely pay rent. But now, look at ... I own a massive building. Everyone who looked down on back then would never expect this. Never. I wish I had been this wealthy before. Maybe then, no one would have looked down on ."

As they walked through the tall gates, Nolan’s eyes widened at the vast compound. The garden stretched out endlessly, lush and alive, giving the place the feel of a noble’s estate. It almost seed too much—too grand—for soone like him to live in.

Lyra followed close behind, her eyes darting from the garden to the towering walls. "This place will be good for your training," she said thoughtfully.

Nolan chuckled. "Why are you always thinking about training?"

"Because," Lyra said, smiling faintly, "I want to get stronger again. The way it felt fighting you... the pressure I felt, the weight of your strength—it reminded of what it ans to face soone beyond my limits. When you reached level one hundred, I could feel it. Even if I lost, I’d still love to fight you again, just to feel that pressure once more."

"Let’s not think about getting stronger," Nolan said. "Let’s just enjoy the mont. I’m rich. This is my house now." He shouted as he moved toward the entrance.

Lyra suddenly grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

"What is it? Why did you stop ?" Nolan asked.

"Don’t you feel it?" Lyra’s eyes narrowed. Her hand went to her weapon. "Soone’s here."

The joy vanished. The garden, once bright, now felt heavy, as if the shadows were holding their breath.

Nolan clenched his fists, scanning the courtyard. "So I wasn’t imagining it. Sothing’s off."
