"Nah, this isn’t good," Lyra muttered under her breath, her massive chest heaving as she steadied herself. The Divine Dragon King hovered above, his enormous wings blotting out the stars. "He’s actually pretty fast. Even for a Divine Dragon King... with that colossal body, he’s still faster than ."
Her bloody maw curled into a grimace. "If I don’t use my main skill, I won’t win. I have to focus every strike—make sure it hits only him, not the forest. I can’t risk innocent lives."
Her gaze flicked briefly toward the horizon. The night was already heavy and dark, moonlight glinting off her scaled form. "It’s late already... I wonder what Master is doing right now. No—I need to finish this quickly, and then return to him."
Beating her great wings, Lyra rose back into the sky. The Divine Dragon King’s molten eyes locked onto hers. They hovered there for a long breath, staring each other down, two divine forces bracing for devastation.
"I’ll have to use it," Lyra whispered to herself. Her behemoth aura surged, shaking the air. "Frost Zone."
A glowing circle spread beneath her, vast and shimring. Her bloody maw opened wide, releasing a roar that chilled the heavens. From her throat surged a torrent of blinding white frost, divine ice laced with crackling energy. The air itself froze as she unleashed it.
The Divine Dragon King snarled and twisted his imnse body, dodging with shocking speed. The beam of divine frost missed its target and hurtled downward, slamming into the volcano below.
Boom!
The mountain roared as if in agony. In an instant, the fiery lava within solidified, the eruption silenced. The volcano, once blazing with molten fury, was consud and sealed under layers of glacial ice. Steam hissed into the night sky, then froze into glittering shards that rained across the battlefield.
Lyra’s breath ca heavy, frost spilling from her mouth as her power echoed through the land. "Even if I missed him... this fight just changed."
The Divine Dragon King flared his wings, his voice a booming growl. "So... you truly are willing to reveal your divine power. Good. Then I shall stop holding back."
"There was never a need for you to hold back," Lyra growled, her massive wings spread wide as divine light shimred around her. "Co at . I’ll take the attack."
The Divine Dragon King’s eyes blazed. "Very well. I will show you a little of my true self. Fire of Destruction—burn my foes!"
His colossal jaws opened, and from deep within his throat surged a fla unlike any other. It was not just fire, but golden energy laced with pure destruction, condensed into a spear of searing light. The air trembled as the blaze shot forward, moving with terrifying speed.
Boom.
The destructive fla tore across the sky toward Lyra. She beat her wings hard, twisting in mid-air, and managed to dodge. But the fire was alive—it curved, followed her path, and gave chase like a predator hunting prey.
Lyra spun again, her behemoth form streaking through the heavens. The golden fire never wavered. It chased her, closer and closer, until she stopped abruptly, turned, and faced it head-on.
Her bloody maw opened wide, power surging from her chest. "Haaaah!"
An enormous blast of divine energy, laced with lightning and frost, erupted from her mouth. The two forces collided in a storm of chaos, the heavens trembling under their fury.
But the Dragon King’s Fire of Destruction was stronger. It devoured her blast, cutting through, and roared forward unbroken.
The impact slamd into Lyra’s face, blinding her with searing pain. She summoned a magic shield in desperation, layering her divine energy across her body. The fla pierced it instantly, shattering the shield like glass.
The force sent her spiraling downward. Her wings faltered, her body shook violently, and the ground rushed up beneath her. For a mont, it looked like she would crash. But with a desperate roar, Lyra steadied herself, halting her fall just before impact.
Her chest heaved, her scales scorched, her vision hazy. "No more... I won’t fall again."
She looked back up into the night sky, where the Divine Dragon King lood like a burning star. The dawn was still far, but the first whispers of morning would not wait forever.
"I have to end this before morning," Lyra thought, her eyes hardening with resolve.
"Now, what do you think about ?" the Divine Dragon King roared, voice rolling like distant thunder. "Are you ready to join in destroying this world? Maybe after I finish, the almighty will remake everything. Who knows? I feel alive. My power is back. I want to test it on you humans — on everyone."
Lyra answered with a battle cry. "You looked down on for too long. I am a divine behemoth — one of the greatest in heaven. You are mighty, but I will not fall without a fight."
The Dragon King flashed his teeth and surged into the air, aiming his terrible presence straight at Lyra. The sky itself seed to quake. "Do you think that will stop ?" he bellowed. He beat his massive wings and tried to rise, but sothing unseen tugged at him.
Lyra began to gather power. "Gravity Crush," she called, voice echoing like iron chains. The heaviness fell from above, an invisible weight that wrapped the Dragon King and pinned him downward. He flapped, strained, and fought the pull, but the force held. How was this possible, he wondered. How could a being he had once dismissed press him to the earth?
Pinned and furious, the Divine Dragon King descended until his talons scraped the scorched ground. The forest around them scread with panic — animals fled, birds tore from the branches, and a hundred miles of forest edge trembled under the shockwaves. The intensity of Lyra’s power stunned even him; to be forced low while in divine form was incomprehensible.
Lyra didn’t pause. She poured even more energy into the attack. "Annihilation Impact — full power," she cried.
