Three people erged from another fork, two n and one woman, all appearing to be middle-aged and were chatting and laughing.

“Yes, I was captured and thrown in here with just a storage bag and a mining hoe. I’m a bit lost in this underground world now.”
After another scrutinizing look from head to toe, the woman slightly nodded and said, “Since you’re new, naturally we can explain the situation here to you.”
It was only then that Peter Brown realized that Mino and the others hadn’t detailed the specifics of the underground world to him.
“Shall we also take a rest?” The woman seed to ask the two n.
“Alright, let’s take a rest; we’re almost there.”
Listening to their conversation, Peter Brown felt even more puzzled, thinking they too didn’t know where they were going.
The trio sat opposite Peter Brown, nearly cornering him in the space.
With his cultivation recovered, and knowing that everyone’s cultivation is sealed here in the mine, Peter Brown was naturally not afraid and sat down as well.
Seeing Peter Brown not doing anything out of the ordinary, the trio’s expressions relaxed slightly.
“When were you captured?”
“It’s been about a month now. This underground world is truly vast, and without a map, it’s impossible to find a way out.”
“They didn’t even explain the situation here to you!”
The leading middle-aged man seed curious about this matter too.

Peter Brown didn’t think to hide this matter from them and spoke frankly.

The three were suddenly wide-eyed as if shocked by this news.

Looking again at Peter Brown, the woman sighed, saying, “Indeed, I heard that the Harrison clan controls a Titan World in the First Heaven, and they always draw new power from there. They sent you in here not expecting you to genuinely mine, but rather to leave you for dead here. A middle-aged man said, “This mine is truly not just owned by the Harrison clan. After billions of years of digging, this mine connects to many places, places even the Harrison clan doesn’t know about.”
Peter Brown asked in confusion, “If that’s true, couldn’t the captured people potentially escape?”

The Harrison clan can take a portion, but overall it’s the Family committing evil, while the sect doesn’t interfere, obtaining most of the benefits collected by the guardians. So, no matter how much the underground people mine, they can only trade with Families or powers belonging to the Great Void Sect, and for the sect, it’s never a loss. However, for the Family, mining quantity determines rank; they capture people to continually mine to increase their contribution points.”
