Chapter 2165: Chapter 2163 Mountain Bandits

When Peter Brown’s senses stirred again, his gaze was fixed on that massive mountain range in the distance.

This ti, the sensation was much stronger—it wasn’t just one person, but an entire group of people.

Peter’s mood lifted considerably; this clearly indicated that the team he had dispatched was now on that great mountain range. However, he didn’t know why they had ended up in such a place.

While Peter was pondering this, deep within the mountain range, a squad dressed in Purple River Star Region military uniforms was locked in fierce combat with an opposing group that visibly belonged to the Royal Army.

The one commanding them was none other than Jett Johnson.

This particular group had endured countless hardships, even abandoning their certifications in order to reach this place. However, having co from outside the region, the disparity in cultivation power beca increasingly pronounced the deeper they ventured.

An accidental offense to a young master had led to their being relentlessly pursued by forces sent by that sa young master, ultimately driving them into this massive mountain range.

Even now, their pursuers showed no rcy, continuing to send troops after them tirelessly.

The journey had been littered with death, and if it weren’t for Jett Johnson’s strategies, their entire team would have already been eradicated.

Yet, in the face of overwhelming power disparity, strategies held little weight. Jett Johnson felt helpless; the enemy possessed cultivators of several hundred Star Ranks, while his side could only manage to kill those below 200 Star Ranks using the Heaven-Exploding Thunder provided by Peter and advanced formations.

After nurous battles, the Heaven-Exploding Thunder was completely depleted. Jett Johnson knew they had reached the end of the line.

Standing and gazing toward the Purple River Star Region, Jett let out a quiet sigh. He had hoped that following Peter Brown would lead to significant progress, even placing his hopes on entering the Starlight Domain this ti. Yet now, they hadn’t even made it into the domain, and their army was on the brink of annihilation.

Enemies continued to surge toward their position, tightening the encircling net.

Jett knew that the final battle was imminent, and there was no hope remaining for his team.

“Mr. Johnson, do we still have hope?”

A general asked softly.

Jett remained silent; deep within, his thoughts were echoing the sa question.

He couldn’t think of anyone capable of rescuing them; they simply didn’t have such powerful allies.

Sighing, the general added, “I know it’s a wasted question. We’re so far from our nation and entirely cut off from support. Even if the nation were aware of our situation, there’s no way they could help us. Who would’ve thought the cultivators here would possess such astounding cultivation, nearing the Realm of Void Saint.”

“Indeed, prior reports on the cultivation levels of Starlight Domain personnel were clearly inaccurate. Who could have foreseen their rapid advancent? What a sha—if only we had more ti, our own forces wouldn’t be inferior to theirs.”

The group debated amongst themselves, resigned to the fact that today might truly be their last battle.

Jett declared, “Everyone understands our predicant. They see us as mountain bandits. If captured, there’s only two possible fates—execution or enslavent. Neither is a path we will accept; our only option is to fight to the death!”

“Mr. Johnson, you don’t need to worry. None of us fear death; we only regret failing His Imperial Majesty’s trust and leaving our task incomplete!”

As they spoke, a voice suddenly descended from the Azure Sky.

“I have not granted you the right to die; how dare you speak of death so lightly!”

As the words echoed, Peter Brown appeared in the sky overhead.

Peter’s cultivation now far surpassed Void Saint Level, and he manifested using a form of magical space, leaving Jett and his n stunned.

Only then did they realize—it was Peter Brown who had arrived.

Without hesitation, all dropped to their knees in reverence: “Greetings, Your Majesty!”

Finally, elation filled their faces. In this last hour of despair, their sovereign had personally co to their rescue—an event they had never dared to imagine.

Jett’s gaze swept repeatedly over Peter Brown. He couldn’t fathom how such circumstances had co to pass. Even more surprising was Peter’s manner of appearance; sothing about it seed unfathomable. Hadn’t Peter’s cultivation been much lower before? Even with rapid progression, it shouldn’t have reached such an absurd level so quickly.

While Jett mused over this, Peter swiftly ford several hand seals.

Jett recognized the seals imdiately—the technique had been privately agreed upon between him and Peter. Peter had once said that, upon entering Starlight Domain, their connection must remain undiscovered, and the best way to signal would be through specific hand seals.

The seals Peter ford were impeccable!

Overco, Jett prostrated himself and said, “Your Majesty, I am guilty of failing to lead the troops properly. So many lives have been lost, and only these few remain.”

“Rise,” Peter responded gently. “I did not anticipate such peril along this journey. The fault does not lie with you—it is mine to bear.”

As everyone stood, their eyes once more turned toward Peter, filled with awe.

Jett himself felt baffled looking at Peter; when they had set out, Peter’s cultivation level was barely over 100 Star Rank. Though everyone had made significant gains to now average over 200 Star Ranks, Peter remained entirely inscrutable.

What cultivation level had their sovereign achieved?

Unable to suppress his curiosity, Jett hesitated before asking, “Your Majesty, may I inquire your Star Rank?”

“My Star Rank?”

Peter smiled faintly; it was difficult to answer directly, given the completely unconventional path he had taken.

To lift their morale, he replied calmly, “About 6,000 Star Rank.”

“What?!”

The astonished soldiers stood frozen, utterly stunned. None of them had anticipated Peter’s cultivation reaching such heights. If that were the case, who could possibly challenge him here?

“Look out—they’re initiating an attack!”

Soone suddenly shouted.

As they turned their gaze back, they saw the enemy troops indeed launching their assault.

“Your Majesty!”

Jett instinctively felt he should protect Peter but hesitated—Peter’s proclaid cultivation level left him at a loss for what to do.

“Go! Destroy them for !”

As Peter spoke, a Quasi-Saint level cultivator materialized instantly, unleashing devastating attacks.

The thods of the Quasi-Saint were awe-inspiring. With one palm strike, an entire section of the enemy forces was annihilated. A single punch reduced a large area to a massive crater.
