Chapter 2137: Chapter 2135: Return after Completing the Task
Seeing the barracks of the Human Clan, Peter Brown felt a sense of warmth. After so many days in Demon Clan territory, he was finally back on the lands of the Human Clan.
“Who goes there?” A Void Saint Level figure rushed over, scrutinizing Peter Brown from head to toe.
Peter Brown had currently concealed all his aura; ordinary people truly couldn’t discern his status. With his current abilities, he didn’t really take a Void Saint seriously.
“Soldier Peter Brown, returning from a mission upon orders.”
“You are Peter Brown!”
The person looked Peter up and down again, utterly astonished. Now, Peter Brown actually had so fa; he had competed against a young master from the Wilson Family and killed him, this kid had actually completed his mission, truly defying the heavens.
Thinking of the dangers when in Demon Clan territory, the Void Saint internally praised him.
“Follow into the barracks.”
Peter went along with him.
Soon, after so necessary procedures, the experts of the Human Clan confird Peter Brown’s identity.
“You may rest for now, the matter has been reported upwards.”
The Void Saint said to Peter and then left. To these people, they assud Peter Brown had probably offended Nathan Rain, the rising Quasi Saint of the Wilson Family—no matter the great rits, what could it avail? Perhaps in the end, he’d just be taken care of, hence nobody wanted to associate too much with Peter Brown.
The tent he stayed in was rather good, a refined Divine Artifact Army Tent, not just any cheap rchandise.
Peter didn’t dwell on it too much, now that he was back in the Human Clan’s territory, he too needed so good rest.
After bathing and changing his clothes, Peter sat cross-legged inside his own tent.
All the Guardian instructors from the Will Palace had already been sent to various locations within the Demon Clan, so Peter had nothing to do for the ti being and could only absorb the vast knowledge of the Demon Clan once again.
This ti it was as if he had obtained all the knowledge of the Demon Clan, and what Peter needed to do was to assimilate it into his own knowledge.
Indeed, although so much knowledge was already part of what Peter knew, he couldn’t say it was truly his own knowledge because it was buried deep within his consciousness.
As ti went by, day after day, Peter was unconsciously clarifying his knowledge, but even until now, no one had co to visit, let alone enter the Cultivation Technique Space.
“Why has there not been any reward for completing the mission after such a long ti?”
After waiting a few days, Peter could not help but ask.
Hearing Peter’s inquiry, a Void Saint Level figure of the Human Clan ca with a smile that did not reach his eyes, scanning over Peter before suddenly saying: “Who exactly are you?”
What does he an?
Peter was sowhat dumbfounded. When he had arrived, there were all kinds of detection; why would he ask such a question?
Before Peter could even speak, the Void Saint harrumphed and said: “After our investigation, Peter Brown was killed in Demon Clan territory. We suspect you are an impostor. Guards, seize this man who is impersonating Peter Brown.”
Seeing the situation, Peter understood in his heart that Nathan Rain’s power must have influenced this place, and perhaps even his own situation had not been reported upwards.
Having realized this, Peter knew he was apparently confronted by a Quasi Saint.
If it were before, Peter might have been a bit concerned, but now he was not afraid at all.
“It seems my ti being low-key has been a bit too long!”
Peter muttered to himself, then his aura surged all of a sudden.
Now, Peter no longer concealed his cultivation; he understood that ever since the ergence of the Saint Willpower, his task was to showcase his own might.
Humphing, Peter Brown said, “I need to see the Quasi Saint, you all get lost!”
Ah!
No one had expected Peter Brown to have such audacity to utter these words at the barracks.
But the Void Saint’s eyes lit up; he had been unable to find a good way to lure Peter into making a mistake, and now, as long as Peter dared to act that way, he could take care of him.
“Seize him!”
The Void Saint roared.
At that mont, the Soldiers began to surround Peter Brown.
Peter Brown’s voice suddenly rose, reverberating through the barracks, and he said in a deep tone, “This is the Extre Fire Divine Thunder specially granted to by the Quasi Saint. I didn’t even use it when I was in Demon Clan territory; if you force , I wouldn’t mind using it on you.”
“Extre Fire Divine Thunder?”
The originally fierce Void Saint was taken aback and his gaze shifted to Peter Brown’s hand.
In their minds, even if the Quasi Saint had given Peter so Treasure, they assud he would have used it all up in Demon Clan territory; they didn’t expect he still had one here.
“You dare!”
“What wouldn’t I dare? You are Nathan Rain’s n, right? You want to capture to please Nathan Rain, but I won’t comply!”
Peter intentionally spread his voice to all corners of the barracks.
“You must be an imposter, seize him!”
When the Void Saint roared, he saw the Soldiers forming a formation.
At a glance, Peter Brown noticed that it was a Military war formation, one that was capable of defending against the Extre Fire Divine Thunder.
They really ca prepared!
Seeing this, Peter Brown beca even more aware of Nathan Rain’s urgent desire to eliminate him.
At this ti, the Void Saint said sternly, “Kid, no matter who you are, if you dare to deploy the Extre Fire Divine Thunder, then, from this mont onwards, you will beco the enemy of Our Human Tribe, and your attack will be against Our Human Tribe’s Army.”
As expected, there’s a sche!
Of course, Peter Brown understood their intention, to use so Soldiers as cannon fodder, just to make him the enemy of the entire Human Clan, thereby having an excuse to capture him.
What should I do?
Now, Peter Brown was indeed sowhat hesitant; if it ca to that, Peter knew he would truly beco an enemy of the Human Clan.
Should I just let them bully then?
Peter knew that on his path to Becoming a Saint, he must face so trials, and he figured this was his first trial.
Seeing Peter’s expression, a smile appeared on the Void Saint’s face; he was aware that his calculations might be successful this ti. Who would dare to risk becoming the enemy of the Human Clan? It wasn’t just the individual who would be punished, but his Family mbers would be implicated as well.
Believing he had Peter Brown’s weakness, the Void Saint advised, “I suggest you surrender now and avoid implicating your Family.”
“Surrender?”
Peter Brown scoffed. For soone like him, everything that stands in his way must be annihilated. Given that, what would being the enemy of everyone matter?
With that thought, the Aura emanating from Peter Brown’s body began to climb even further.
