2067: Chapter 2065: Faith Energy is a Business 2067: Chapter 2065: Faith Energy is a Business The Military Supplies Departnt is a rather large place.
Upon entering, what Peter Brown saw was akin to a market scene.
“How’s that?
Big enough, right?
As long as you have Cosmic Coins, you can buy anything you want here.”
Several Soldiers arrived and seed very excited, rushing into the place.
Peter looked around and sure enough, they were selling all kinds of things here, and notably, the busiest place turned out to be a brothel.
Catching sight of the brothel, Peter was sowhat astonished.
He hadn’t expected such business in a place like this.
When he looked at those won, Peter had to admit that the won of the Divine Realm were truly alluring.
“Comrade, how about it, want to relax a bit first?”
“It’s not expensive, just five Cosmic Coins for one go.”
“Yeah, none of us knows how long we’ll Live for a long ti, just enjoying the mont is all.”
All three were persuading Peter to join in the amusent.
Peter had no interest in the won here.
Now that the path’s construction was underway, he believed he would soon open the path to the Hua Kingdom.
Thus, for him, preserving his life was more important than everything else, and he was also curious to understand the situation here.
“Forget it, I’ll take a look at the items in the market.
You go enjoy yourselves.”
“Alright then, you can make your way back on your own when it’s ti.”
Seeing that they couldn’t persuade Peter, the three of them headed towards a luxurious brothel.
After they left, Peter then started his browsing.
It turns out that the business here might be a unique one, with so Soldiers operating the stalls.
Peter couldn’t help but find it amusing looking at those Soldiers tending their stalls.
“Comrade, how about it, want to buy so Elixirs or energy?” A Young Soldier asked as soon as he caught Peter’s interested glance.
Peter looked at his stall and noticed many items that were unfamiliar to him, so he squatted down and said, “I’m a newcor, this is my first ti here, and I have no idea what you’re selling.”
Hearing that Peter was a newcor, the Soldier expressed understanding, “I get it, it’s not easy being new.
There are always new people arriving every day.
I heard you just faced the enemy and got your hands on so Demonic Energy, haven’t you?”
Demonic Energy?
This was the first ti Peter had heard of it, and he was puzzled, “I don’t know what that is.”
The Young Soldier laughed and pointed at a piece of red stone-looking thing on the counter, “See that?
That’s Demonic Energy.
It’s a good thing.
Formation settings can also use Demonic Energy as an energy source.
Many formation masters would want this stuff to power their formations, and one piece of Demonic Energy like this could keep a formation running for a hundred years.”
Peter’s eyes brightened, thinking that it indeed seed like a useful item.
His own teleportation formations borrowed terrestrial energy which was relatively weaker, and if Demonic Energy was truly that powerful, it could be used for Teleportation, possibly increasing the distance and speed.
Additionally, for his Teleportation Talisman, using this as a power supply could extend its range beyond ten million miles.
“I’ve been in two battles myself, but how co I haven’t seen this thing?” Peter asked curiously.
The Young Soldier replied, “You have to extract it from the Brain Domain of a slain mber of the Demon Clan.
You were probably fighting under a banner, and so the Demonic Energy you produced might have been claid by your superiors.”
That was news to him!
Only then did Peter realize there were such intricacies in the Army’s banner warfare, but why hadn’t anyone said anything about it?
As if guessing Peter’s confusion, the Young Soldier said, “The distribution of Demonic Energy is also done in turns, first to the veterans and then to the new recruits.
You probably have just arrived and haven’t gotten your turn yet, so you have to wait.”
Now Peter understood.
Picking it up and feeling it in hand, Peter indeed discovered it contained a large amount of energy.
“Another use of Demonic Energy is in Alchemy!”
“Alchemy?”
“Right.
Your current cultivation is only at the few Hundred-Star Rank, which is quite weak.
You need to upgrade your cultivation as soon as possible.
I suggest you get a piece of Demonic Energy and use its energy to rge into your elixir below the navel to enhance alchemy.
I believe it will greatly improve the conversion and upgrade your Star Rank.”
“I’ve been absorbing Demonic Energy on the battlefield to enhance myself.”
“I know, but that requires a large amount of belief energy.
This thod is different; although belief energy is still needed, it’s within your control and won’t consu too much.”
“How much are you selling this Demonic Energy core for?” Peter was tempted.
“Not much, just Ten million strands of Faith Silk.”
“Ten million!”
Peter was inwardly shocked.
After thinking for a mont, he realized he wasn’t in a rush for this item and turned his attention to the Elixirs on the stall, “You also have Foundational Building Pills, what’s the price for those?”
“Foundational Building Pills are easy to Refine for most people, they’re not expensive.
Ten thousand strands of Faith Silk for one pill.”
Peter picked one up and observed that it was of a higher grade than the ones he had bought before, and he said, “I’ll take three hundred.”
After paying, the young Soldier advised, “Given your situation, advancing to the 1000 Star Level is certain.
I suggest you buy so Star Multiplying Pills; these Elixirs are effective between 1,000 and 2,000 Star Ranks.”
“How much?”
“Ten million strands of belief energy per pill.”
“Are all your transactions with faith energy?”
The Young Soldier glanced around and whispered, “Belief energy is more useful.
If you use belief energy, I can give you a discount.”
Peter laughed and said, “It seems that here belief energy is actually more valuable than Cosmic Coins.”
Just as he said this, a neighboring stall owner said, “It’s strange, belief energy has appreciated in value.”
Another stall owner said, “I heard that the influx of belief energy today has dropped significantly, either because the harvest is reduced or sothing.”
Upon hearing this, Peter was taken aback, then realized it must be because he had harvested so much belief energy, causing the temples to yield less.
So those temples had a connection with the Army, after all!
Peter felt he needed to be more careful with his next steps to avoid letting anyone discover his secret extraction, as being caught could lead to lots of trouble.
However, through these events, Peter gained a deeper understanding of the preciousness of belief energy.
With it, he had the ans to enhance himself.
The next step would be to make good use of it.
