Especially after his phone conversation with Peter Brown, his reverence for him deepened even more.

The two of them continued their conversation as they walked in.
After settling down, Edward turned to her, “Have you inford Peter about our plans over here through a phone call?”

Despite her complaints, Heidi Jones’ face was filled with a smile.
She felt a deep sense of gratitude towards Peter Brown and considered herself to be on his team.

Edward’s eyes brightened witnessing their solidarity.
He sighed and said, “I might not be able to help you out in the next phase!”

Heidi was grateful towards Edward.
Without his assistance in financial matters and being on-site to help, there’s no way she, as a country woman, could’ve set up this restaurant, especially with all the legal permits and licenses involved.
She definitely would’ve found it much more difficult without Edward’s help.
Upon hearing Heidi’s question, Edward was quite open and explained so of his father’s situation.
He didn’t treat Heidi as an ordinary country girl.
Heidi, a very smart woman herself, understood Edward’s situation upon hearing him and thought this was sothing she could possibly assist with.
She said, “This kid never gives clear instructions.
Don’t worry, I’ll just give him a call.”
As she spoke, Heidi took out her cell phone and dialed Peter Brown’s number.
Seeing Heidi about to make a call, Edward quickly interjected, “He might be abroad; you should dial it like this.” He then instructed her on how to dial an international call.
“Oh, that kid has run off abroad, what is he doing there?”
Edward was curious as well.
After trying several tis, he finally managed to get through to Peter Brown’s phone.
He too was intrigued about what Peter could be doing abroad.
The call was quickly connected.
At that ti, Peter was preparing to refine a Qi solution.
Upon seeing Heidi’s incoming call, he chuckled, “Aunt Collins, why are you calling ?”
“I’ve told you, Peter, call ‘Sister’.”
Hearing Aunt Collins’ sowhat displeased tone, Peter laughed, “Alright, Sister it is.

You randomly thought of calling .”
“I an Peter, did you just dump in the provincial city and forget about ?”
“No way, didn’t I get Edward to help you out?
If that young chap isn’t assisting you, don’t worry, I’ll sort him out when I get back.”
Heidi laughed, “You rascal!
Let tell you, Edward’s a good man, he’s been very helpful.
And as for the restaurant, all preparations are complete, and we’re just awaiting the opening ceremony.
You’re the hidden boss, you won’t miss it, will you?”
“I’d love to attend too.
It’s just that I still haven’t managed to sort things out here, so I won’t be able to make it.
Let Edward organize it, it should be fine.”
Peter was at a loss.

“Edward, like I said, it’s a minor issue, don’t worry anymore.
Your father’s matter will be resolved latest by tomorrow.
It could even be sorted out today, so stop overthinking it.
Be more attentive to Aunt Collins’ needs.
I’m still busy over here, so I’m hanging up.”
After speaking, Peter hung up the call.
Though it was just a single sentence, Edward’s mind was put at ease.
A smile broke out on his face, “It seems Peter has already sorted it on his end.”
Thinking about those who betrayed him, a dark, murderous intent flashed in Edward’s eyes.
