1592: Chapter 1591: Taking Advantage of the Situation_1 1592: Chapter 1591: Taking Advantage of the Situation_1 Reid Nelson and Peter Brown were analyzing the situation here when Henry Ford was having dinner with a deputy mayor in the city.

After a few glasses of wine, Henry Ford sighed, “Brother, this might be the last ti I drink with you!”

The two had always had a good relationship, so the deputy mayor, Matthew Gardiner, asked in confusion, “Hadley, what’s wrong?”

“Sigh, isn’t it all about the change in leadership.”

Matthew Gardiner nodded slightly and said, “I’ve heard about the change in leadership at your group company.

So, they are going to move against you?”

“Yes, it seems they want to vacate my position.”

“Is there no way out?”

“As you know, everyone sees as Mr.

Taylor’s man.”

The two clinked glasses again, and Matthew Gardiner said, “I can’t help you with this matter.”

“Is there sothing you might be interested in hearing about?”

“Oh, tell .”

Henry Ford then talked about Peter Brown knowing three foreign languages and ntioned the county’s business departnt’s confirmation.

“There’s such a talent?

Aweso!”

Matthew Gardiner also beca interested.

“There’s another thing that I can’t quite understand!”

Henry Ford also recounted the incident where Peter Brown clashed with Christian Greenhill at the eting, after which Christian Greenhill ran into trouble.

Matthew Gardiner, a very perceptive man, was shocked and said, “One wouldn’t know of such a thing unless deeply inford; there was no whisper of it beforehand?

Indeed, such news hasn’t circulated in the city either, it was very sudden.”

“Indeed, no word of it leaked out.

I’ve looked into it.”

Gently tapping on the table, Matthew Gardiner said, “This is quite interesting; that kid Peter Brown couldn’t have just defied authority for no reason, he must have had so confidence to do so.”

“That’s what I was thinking too, but I can’t figure out what sort of connection he has.

To my knowledge, Peter Brown is just from a farr’s family, and his uncle has been with for many years; I know his family inside out.”

“You see, things are unpredictable now.

So young people are very resourceful; for all we know, he could have found himself the daughter of a higher-up or saved so leader or sothing.

Don’t such things often get written about in books, heh heh.”

Matthew Gardiner said and laughed.

After laughing, he looked at Henry Ford with a half-smile, “You old fox, you’re thinking of getting involved now!”

Henry Ford said, “Anyway, it’s no loss to you, and if he really does have that kind of connection, it might actually be to your benefit.”

Matthew Gardiner again gently tapped the table and then nodded slightly, “You do make so sense.

Soone who knows three foreign languages and can converse fluently is indeed the kind of talent we need in the city.

I’ll help you with this.”

Henry Ford whispered to Matthew Gardiner for a while.

Matthew Gardiner laughed heartily, “Even without connections, we’ll have to create so; you’re pretty clever!”

Henry Ford said with a wry smile, “There’s no other way; if we don’t shake up so people, it’s really hard to get things done.”

“I’ll take care of this tomorrow, starting with shaping the public opinion.”

“Thank you very much.”

“As long as that kid really has the chops, he could be quite a subject.”

The two of them discussed for a while longer before dispersing.

Last night, Peter had analyzed the situation with Reid Nelson and realized that Henry Ford wanted to leverage his montum to boost his presence, signaling that besides Mr.

Taylor, he also had connections at the provincial level.

The next morning, as soon as Peter arrived at work, Ivy Cooper ca over to him and whispered, “I did so digging for you yesterday.

Mr.

Lee from the head office is related to Theodore Smith by marriage, and he was especially gleeful in the company’s current targeting of Edward Ford.”

“Mr.

Lee?”

Peter opened his computer and started to investigate on it.

Sure enough, there was information about Mr.

Lee on the company’s website.

He was a leader who had recently been promoted from the lower ranks, previously a manager of a major project, rumored to be very capable and even a potential contender for the top spot.

Looking at the photograph of this man, Peter’s brain started working overti.

“Peter,” Ivy Cooper continued with a particular look in her eyes that seed to be helping Peter while also probing him further, “news from The Higher-Ups has it that Edward Ford might be rotated out of his position soon.”

“I’m just a small fry, that’s their business above my pay grade.

I’m only concerned about whether I can secure my housing benefit,” Peter replied.

Reid Nelson said, “If sothing happens to Edward Ford, your housing deal will definitely be off.”

After everyone had fallen silent.

Peter looked at the two won and then launched the small program he had created on his computer.

Mr.

Lee’s full na was Uriel Smith, and Peter quickly found the leader’s QQ account in the company’s QQ group.

He then took control of the other party’s QQ account and started an investigation inside it.

Peter found two computers on QQ that Uriel Smith frequently used for internet access.

After making sure no one was around, he accessed the one that was obviously ant for ho use.

Regrettably, he didn’t find anything particularly valuable on the computer.

When he checked the computer in Uriel Smith’s office, he found nothing of value either.

This guy was very cautious.

He had left nothing on his computer!

Even after searching through QQ for a while, Peter found no valuable information.

Could this guy really be completely clean?

After logging out, Peter entered Uriel Smith’s mobile number and planted the program into his cell phone.

After a quick search on Uriel Smith’s cell phone, Peter discovered he had two mobile numbers, the second of which was linked to a chat account with a BB number.

BB was also a type of chat software, reputed to be a “Divine Artifact” for hookups.

Before long, Peter stumbled upon Uriel Smith’s secret—this old guy was actually involved with three girls at the sa ti, and as Peter reviewed their conversations, he realized that Uriel Smith was supporting three female college students.

He quickly traced their locations through the program.

Peter was elated by this discovery, and after delving into the phones of the four individuals involved, he accidentally found evidence that one of the girls seed to have secretly recorded, probably as leverage against Uriel Smith at a critical mont.

When he viewed the recorded content, it was very clear; Uriel Smith’s face was even clearly visible while engaging in those acts.

Now in possession of this material, Peter sat in his chair and began to ponder.

If used judiciously, this could certainly bring Uriel Smith down.

However, he couldn’t be the one to expose it.

How should he handle this situation?

No matter, it was best to leave it to the designated authorities.

Peter sent the material directly to the province’s disciplinary departnt, adding a ssage that if such a leader wasn’t dealt with, the video would be released.

Having finished this task, Peter picked up his teacup and took a sip.

Now that it was soone from the province causing trouble, specifically aiming at Henry Ford, and with Uriel Smith implicated, what would everyone think?
