1173: Chapter 1173: Tracking Demon Beasts_1 1173: Chapter 1173: Tracking Demon Beasts_1 After his cultivation surged, Peter Brown sat still instead of getting up, lost in thought.

Following the increase in his cultivation level, Peter Brown’s aura had returned to its forr state, a significant occurrence.

He believed that it would be impossible to conceal himself under the noses of the demon beasts.

This could be the last obstacle.

He couldn’t afford to fail!

Fortunately, Peter had long preserved Leo White’s belongings, which still retained his scent.

After mulling it over for a while, Peter stood up to bathe and change clothes.

Then, he sat down and took out the large saber bearing Leo White’s scent, carefully attuning himself to it.

The Immortal Power Transformation Technique already had the capability for such fusion.

As long as he obtained the scent, Peter was confident that he could change his aura through the cultivation technique.

It had to be said that the Shape-shifting Technique was an aweso cultivation technique.

Without such a fortuitous acquisition, he would have had no ans to alter his aura.

Unfolding the cultivation technique, Peter first sealed his aura with his Inner Qi, then he simulated Leo White’s aura on the outside, wrapping it around himself.

The aura of Leo White from the saber gradually took shape and attached itself to Peter’s body.

As ti passed, more and more of the aura transford and bonded with him.

10 minutes later, Peter clearly sensed that his aura had completely changed.

Done.

Now it was ti to see if the Tracing Beast could sniff him out.

After making all the preparations, Peter finally opened the door and walked out.

The sunlight was warm on his skin.

Having spent so many days indoors, he felt as if he had returned to the outside world after a long absence.

Now, it was the final hurdle.

If he could just get past this, he would be free as a bird in the sky!

“Peter, how are you feeling now?” Harry White rushed over and asked with concern.

“Rest assured, I have recovered to the Immortal Realm.”

A smile spread across Harry White’s face as he spoke, “That’s good, that’s good.

The Sect has a test for all its disciples now.

After you complete the test, you’ll be sent to the Dark History Sect.

It’s too dangerous here.”

“Then let’s do the test.”

Peter appeared indifferent.

Seeing Peter’s casual attitude, Harry White’s smile grew wider as he said, “The fake can’t be real, the real can’t be fake.

It’s just a matter of sniffing a scent, don’t worry, it’ll be over quickly.”

“I wonder if that kid has been caught yet?”

Peter asked casually.

“No news yet.”

“Three Major Factions are searching here this ti.

If it was our Sect that caught him, do you think we would inform the other two?” Peter subtly led the conversation.

Upon hearing this, Harry White grew startled, then slapped his thigh and exclaid, “That’s very possible!

We haven’t carefully considered that.

I must discuss this with everyone.

Walk around for a while; I’ll be right back.”

Watching Harry White dash away like the wind, Peter smiled secretly to himself.

His words were ant to mislead, to make everyone think that the other sects might have already caught him, preventing them from focusing their search efforts solely within his own Sect.

As he looked around, Peter discovered that many experts from different sects were still guarding the area.

Presumably, they were there both for protection and to prevent a potential imposter from escaping.

Benjamin Woods and Huxley Brown were likely undergoing scrutiny, as they had not yet appeared.

Walking around the mining area, Peter didn’t see any disciples from the Dark Mist Sect, nor did he find any captives, suggesting that the prisoners had already been moved.

Considering the heavy losses of the Dark Mist Sect, a large faction, Peter pondered whether it was necessary for him to return to the Sect.

After so thought, he shook his head in secret.

Rejoining the Dark Mist Sect was out of the question; the Sect Leader’s Ring he had acquired would be taken away even if he did return, and they might even suspect him of having gained imnse benefits to his disadvantage.

The thought of the endless scheming within the sect convinced Peter to dismiss the idea of returning with the ring.

With the ring in hand, which likely contained a complete set of cultivation techniques, he could create new techniques tailored to his own cultivation by rging them with his existing ones.

He could forge his own path.

As for the impact on the Dark Mist Sect’s developnt without the ring, Peter didn’t care too much.

After all, the Sect held no allure or sense of belonging for him.

Just as Peter Brown was thinking about things here, a person of Celestial Tier flew over and said to Peter Brown, “Leo White, you are summoned for testing.”

After acknowledging with an answer, Peter Brown ca to a vast expanse of open terrain.

“William Stone, you’ve co too?” Benjamin Woods called out as soon as he saw the approaching Leo White.

“You all received scrutiny as well?”

“Exactly, they said it’s possible we’re impostors, damn it!” Huxley Brown was also quite unwilling.

“Forget it, once the Tracing Beast has sniffed us we’ll be freed, then we can head back to the Sect.

This place is boring.”

Peter Brown pretended to be very unhappy.

“That’s right, finish this and leave, no need to stay here.

This place isn’t fit for people.

The Sect is filled with beautiful won, that’s where the fun is.”

While the three of them were talking, a very large Demon Beast had already appeared here.

An elder from the Sect glanced over at Peter Brown and the others, and said loudly, “Each one of you, walk past in front of the Tracing Beast.”

First, those with higher cultivation levels walked past.

The Tracing Beast, with its large eyes, stared at every person walking past.

Before it was a cushion.

When Peter Brown glanced over, he recognized it was the sa cushion he had been sitting on to ditate in his room; he did not expect they would have brought it here.

After sniffing the cushion, the Tracing Beast stood there.

The cushion was removed, and one by one, people walked past the Tracing Beast.

Soon it was Peter Brown’s turn.

At that mont, to say Peter Brown wasn’t nervous would be a lie; he even noticed the old n’s gazes were all on him.

No matter, here goes nothing!

Peter Brown, with an indifferent deanor, walked in front of the Tracing Beast.

Huh!

As Peter Brown looked towards the Tracing Beast, the tension inside him completely dissipated.

The new cultivation ability ford by the fusion of the Shape-shifting Technique with his own Energy Absorption Technique was indeed good — the layer of Leo White’s aura wrapped around him still hid himself well.

Seeing no reaction from the Tracing Beast, Peter Brown was about to leave when.

An elder said, “Wait a mont.”

At this, everyone looked towards the elder.

The elder then smiled and said to Harry White, “Old Harry, find an object with the scent of your son for the Tracing Beast to sniff again and test.”

Upon hearing this, Peter Brown glanced at the elder, thinking to himself that the elder was indeed a cunning man; if he hadn’t been prepared, today would have been his downfall.

Harry White, with a grim expression, took out a jade platform and had the Tracing Beast sniff it, saying, “This is what my son usually uses to sit and ditate; he found it took up too much space, so he temporarily put it in his ring.”

Just as the Tracing Beast sniffed the jade platform, and then sniffed towards Peter Brown, it indeed started barking at Peter Brown.

Success!

At this, everyone relaxed.

Harry White snorted and said, “Now my son is cleared of suspicion, right?”

The head elder looked at the other elders, then back at Peter Brown, before nodding slightly and saying, “Indeed, there is no longer any suspicion.”

Harry White then said to Peter Brown, “You can go back to the Sect now.”

Peter Brown snorted and said, “I’ve been wanting to leave.”
