1008: Chapter 1008: The Next Ti Period_1 1008: Chapter 1008: The Next Ti Period_1 Peter Brown set these matters aside, knowing that his existence would not be discovered for the mont.
Arriving on an abandoned planet, Peter Brown first laid out a formation, and then sat cross-legged within it.
This ti, his task was to visit Earth’s next temporal segnt.
The imnse amount of Immortal power within the Elixir Sea was Peter Brown’s foundation; he was confident that with so much Immortal power, traveling through ti and space multiple tis would pose no issue whatsoever.
But how exactly could one enter the next ti segnt?
Peter Brown had his own speculations on this matter.
In fact, after the last Teleport, he analyzed the path that was ford, dividing it according to the geographic directions on Earth, where the East represented the earliest part of ti and the West, the latest.
If he headed East, surely he would enter the next ti segnt, right?
After closely examining the ruptured path, Peter Brown did indeed discover so directional differences.
In any case, not knowing what to expect, the only option was for Peter Brown to try.
Eastward!
After determining the direction to breach the space-ti continuum, Peter Brown turned the Immortal power into a protective layer, then shielded himself with a second layer of protection using Dao affinity.
With these two strongest defenses in place, he began the act of piercing through the vacuum.
The powerful Immortal power surged towards the east, where the path had been opened last ti.
Although the original path had ruptured, it was rely a sensation.
In reality, that place was simply a starting point, and Peter Brown charged twenty centiters east of that origin.
Boom!
A thunderous noise sounded, and Peter Brown saw the spot beginning to loosen.
Strengthening his Immortal power, he impacted it once more.
Boom!
This ti there were no issues at all; the once pathless area was now breached by Peter Brown’s Immortal power, creating a portal.
The Immortal power headed towards the portal, which continued to expand.
By then, Peter Brown had already leapt up, his entire being diving into the portal.
Endless light was sparkling; inside this light, Peter Brown transford into a consciousness-like entity, progressing forward.
However, what puzzled Peter Brown was that he had been rushing down the beam of light for an extended period, yet he had not erged from it.
How could it be so long?
At this mont, Peter Brown made another discovery – his Immortal power was rapidly depleting.
This isn’t right!
Peter Brown was startled, realizing that if this continued, he might beco trapped in the endless flow of ti, unable to return.
Upon inspecting his body and Divine Sense, Peter Brown made an even more troubling discovery: his body was fracturing, and his Divine Sense was being heavily consud.
Recalling that the last Teleport had only taken a brief ti, Peter Brown decided to retreat backwards.
After a burst of retreat, Peter Brown exited the light beam back into the Cultivation World.
Having just withdrawn, Peter Brown collapsed completely to the ground.
Looking over his body, Peter Brown felt a heart-stopping fear; he saw that his entire body had sustained significant damage, as if he had been severely injured, and knew that if he didn’t accelerate his Recovery, he might truly collapse.
As he examined his Divine Sense, he found that the Divine Sense Energy was also excessively depleted.
Without ti to think further, Peter Brown swiftly consud two bottles of Elixirs and then plunged into Cultivation.
This incident had alard Peter Brown.
Had he not quickly decided to return, he might really have beco trapped in that beam of light, or even worse, suffered a soul-shattering death.
A month later, Peter Brown finally opened his eyes and let out a long sigh of relief, calming the dread in his heart.
He truly hadn’t anticipated that the temporal light path would be so formidable.
After a bath, Peter Brown took out a rocking chair and sat on it, sipping tea while analyzing the situation.
That was reckless!
After so analysis, Peter Brown ca to a realization.
He now knew the terror of ti, admitting that he had indeed acted rashly.
Trying to enter the next ti segnt was essentially aging rapidly.
Although his Life Extension had greatly increased, he wasn’t enough against the stream of ti.
From this experience, it was clear that a twenty-centiter ti segnt was not short at all, indicating it was impossible to reach such a lengthy ti segnt.
Of course, it wasn’t completely impossible; with sufficient Immortal power, it could still be possible.
Looking at the Immortal power again, what was once dense was now reduced by a third, and even his Dao affinity was not spared from substantial consumption.
Ti could be countered with Immortal power!
But did he have that much Immortal power to spend?
Another thought struck Peter Brown – if he chose a ti segnt where Earth ceased to exist, it could be impossible to successfully exit the ray of light, as that ti segnt required his physical body to be present.
Thinking of this, Peter Brown began to feel a headache brewing.
He sensed that perhaps he had simplified things too much.
If twenty centiters was too far, considering the circumstances, it seed he should start by attempting to travel through a ten-centiter segnt first.
No matter what, he was going to break through at the ten-centiter mark first; if it didn’t work, he would imdiately withdraw!
There wasn’t enough Immortal power!
Peter had thought his Immortal power was plentiful, enough for several trips, but today’s journey had been a shock.
If it weren’t for the massive amount of Immortal power he had obtained, this attempt might have been a one-way trip to death.
Could retreating just ten centiters really represent his limits?
Now, Peter was truly uncertain.
Venturing twenty centiters eastwards was based on his conjecture – what if his guess was wrong, and it was actually farther away?
After all, this was Peter’s first attempt at such a feat, and he genuinely lacked confidence.
After so thought and reviewing his Immortal power, Peter decided it was too risky to proceed.
He would find another source of Immortal power, amass it as much as possible before attempting to travel again; he wouldn’t risk his life on this.
With this in mind, Peter didn’t force another journey.
After dismantling the formation, he headed towards the city.
His task now was to inquire where Thunder and Lightning were most intense.
It seed unlikely to significantly absorb the Immortal power of those Crossing Tribulation in the short term, so he would look for an area rich in Thunder and Lightning.
Peter had also realized sothing: absorbing the Immortal power of others Crossing Tribulation wasn’t a good deed and indeed was immoral; such actions depleted his Kindness Energy.
After absorbing the Immortal power from those Crossing Tribulation twice, Peter had depleted quite a bit of his own.
If not for the continuous influx of Kindness Energy from Earth, Peter did not know how much he would have left.
Where possible, he’d rather absorb the Immortal power dissipated by Thunder and Lightning!
