As soon as Andrew drove up to the parking lot next to the building, he stopped the car and got out of the vehicle.
Jessica followed after him, and as if on instinct, her deanor changed instantly. Her entire being turned into that of a sexy and glamorous model that everyone admired.
Her eyes narrowed slightly while her face beca more serious with an air of confidence surrounding her. Her steps beca more precise, and she moved her hips seductively as she walked towards the main entrance of the building.
Andrew was srized by how his sister had just transford into such an attractive woman in re seconds. He couldn't help but admire the way she carried herself when she acted like this.
Although, he thought that this wasn't the real Jessica that he grew up with, the one that always played jokes on him, laughed and teased him, and acted silly at tis.
However, this Jessica was no doubt hot and sexy, and he couldn't deny that he found her quite attractive.
Soon, Andrew followed Jessica inside the building, where they entered an elevator, taking it to the seventh floor. Once they stepped out, they saw many people moving around, busily attending to different tasks.
As soon as Jessica arrived on the floor, a man who looked to be in his early forties ran over to her. He wore black glasses with a white button-up shirt tucked into a pair of gray pants.
He had a bald spot in the middle of his head with graying hair on sides. His face was round like his potbelly, and there were wrinkles all over his forehead, making him seem like he was always frowning.
"There you are, Jessica!" The man said with a relieved expression on his face as he wrapped his arms around Jessica's waist and pulled her towards him. "I was beginning to get worried because you weren't picking up my calls. You shouldn't be doing this to ."
Andrew furrowed his eyebrows as he saw the man holding Jessica close to him. A frown ford on his face, and he felt a tinge of anger welling up inside of him.
'Who the hell is this guy?' Andrew thought as he looked at the man with narrowed eyes. 'How dare he act like Jessica is his woman!'
"Oh, don't be like that, Mr. Lewis," Jessica giggled as she pushed herself away from Mr. Lewis. "I've told you that I'll co to do the reshoot for the magazine. So there's nothing to worry about."
After saying that, Jessica gestured towards Andrew. "By the way, Mr. Lewis, I would like you to et my brother, Andrew. I've asked him to be my manager from now on. So I hope you won't mind."
"What?! Manager?!" Mr. Lewis exclaid as he turned to look at Andrew. A scowl appeared on his face as he observed the young man standing before him.
It was as if he were looking at soone that he detested. The contemptuous gaze that he threw at Andrew was filled with hostility and disdain.
He then shifted his gaze back onto Jessica, and the previous tender expression returned to his face. "My dear Jessica, if you're unhappy with anything that I'm doing for you, then you just have to let know and I'll fix it imdiately. There's no need for you to be doing sothing like this. I've been working as your manager all these years. Do you not trust anymore?"
As Mr. Lewis spoke, he took a step closer towards Jessica. However, this ti Andrew stepped forward and put himself between the two.
He stared coldly at Mr. Lewis and spoke in a low voice, "Don't you get it? Jessica has already told you that I'm her manager. So back off before I make you."
Mr. Lewis' expression turned dark as he glared back at Andrew. "How dare you! Who do you think you are, threatening like this!?"
Andrew ignored him and turned towards Jessica. "Sister, I don't want to cause a scene here, so can you get this guy out of my sight? If he insists on continuing with this bullshit, I'll be more than happy to teach him a lesson."
Jessica could tell that Andrew was getting annoyed, and she was afraid that he might start getting violent if she didn't do sothing quickly.
"Mr. Lewis, I know that you are a great manager, and you've helped a lot in my career. But it's just that my parents have decided that it would be best for to have a family mber as my manager. I hope you can understand that."
Mr. Lewis continued glaring at Andrew; however, when he heard Jessica's words, a forced smile appeared on his lips as he turned to look at her. "Jessica, you know that I can't just quit as your manager like this. The agency has rules. And even if I want to, I can't just do it out of the blue."
Jessica knew that this would happen. Even though her manager didn't seem like it, he was very cunning and scheming. He wouldn't give up just because Andrew was here now. He would find a way to continue working with her and benefit from her success.
As the three talked, they didn't realize that they attracted a lot of attention from the people in the area. Everyone could tell that sothing was wrong between them. Seeing that he had the attention of everyone around them, Mr. Lewis began to put on an act. "Jessica, darling! I only want what's best for you! And having soone who isn't familiar with this industry as your manager is definitely not the best for you. What can your young brother, who doesn't seem to have worked anywhere else, do for you? He might just make everything worse. Don't you get that? That's why I don't want you to go ahead with this."
