I don’t even rember how I ended up standing right in front of his bedroom door, but I definitely did. After tossing and turning in bed for many hours, I decided that it was useless to ignore my worries. When I closed my eyes all I could think about was Brandon and all I could see was him lying in bed half dead while he was dealing with his illness all alone. I could imagine him being too stubborn to go see a doctor at the hospital. Before I knew what I was doing, I had already gotten out of bed and was marching out of my bedroom. Everything happened in a blur because I was in such a hurry, and the next thing I knew, I was already standing right in front of his bedroom door. I raised my hand to knock but hesitated. Just when I mustered enough courage to knock on his door, the door swung open even before I could bang on it.
“Why are you here?” Bradon asked the mont that he opened the door and saw standing there.
His sudden appearance caught off guard, and I struggled to answer his question for a mont. Bradon stepped aside and gestured for to enter his room. I walked in before I heard him close the door behind .
“So, why are you here?” He repeated his question again.
“I...Umm...I can’t sleep...” I muttered before peering up into his face.
I cursed myself silently for not being able to co out straight and tell him that I ca to see him because Jenna had told that he was sick.
Bradon’s hair was practically dripping wet, and I could sll the familiar sll of his shampoo. He must have just stepped out of the shower, and he probably had no idea just how irresistible he looked right at that mont. Even though I didn’t quite understand the restless feeling inside of or the heavy tight throbbing in my chest that prevented from falling asleep, I could easily understand that my eyes were liking what they were seeing. On top of everything else, he doesn’t look anything like a sick person. Although that was supposed to make feel relieved, it also made suspicious.
“Then you’ve co to the wrong place, Dahlia. You’re not going to get much sleep in this room either,” he said as he ca to stand right in front of .
He’s too close...
I found myself staring up into his srizing blue eyes as if trapped in a daze. His eyes looked clear enough so he probably did not have a fever. I frowned as my worries took over and I ended up reaching up my left hand toward his face. I thought that if I touched his forehead then I could tell for sure if he had a fever or not.
“Do you want to touch that badly?” he asked teasingly.
I gasped when he suddenly captured my hand in his before guiding it to his lips. His lips felt so hot when it ca into contact with the back of my hand where he kissed it. It felt like my body had frozen into a status of ice as I continued watching him place firm kisses against the back of my hand before trailing down to my kiss and then nibble my fingers. Small shivers ran through my body like an electrical current from where his lips and tongue were teasing my fingers.
“Stop playing around!” I cried out as I pulled my hand away from his while realizing just how fast my heart had begun racing in my chest.
“I’m not playing around...” he replied calmly.
“Listen, if you’re sick, shouldn’t you go to the hospital? Did you take a warm shower? Your hair is all wet...” I snapped at him as words seed to naturally flow from between my lips.
I must have sounded like a worried and nagging mother but I just couldn’t stop myself now that I have started. If there’s anyone that wouldn’t worry or take care of themselve when they were sick, Bradon would definitely be one of them.
“You’re wearing it...” he said as if he hadn’t heard a single word that I had just said to him.
“I’m...What?” I murmured in confusion because I failed to follow what he was saying.
“The ring. You’re wearing it...” he said as his eyes fell to the ring that I had on my left ring finger.
I had already forgotten about the ring that he had assigned Jenna to give to , and I just realized that I had forgotten to take it off after trying it on. However, that wasn’t what was important right at that mont.
“That’s not important and stop trying to change the subject!” I ended up raising my voice at him.
“It looks very good on you, Dahlia...” Bradon said in a seductive drawl as he pulled into his arms.
He tilted my head back and crushed his lips against mine in a smoldering hot kiss that shook to the core before I could say any more. My heart raced in my chest when I felt the heat of his lips against mine. His lips felt so hot and his heat seed to spread all throughout my body. The tip of his tongue teased my lips until they parted to allow him access into the depths of my mouth.
“Mhmm...” I made a sound in my throat when he thrusted his tongue into my mouth.
Our kiss quickly deepened as our tongues danced passionately with each other. It felt like I had lost all control of the situation when I began losing myself to the pleasure of his seductive kiss. I kissed him back as his arms held tightly and pulled my body against his.
I have to stop this...before...
“What are you doing? You’re sick...” I managed to say after breaking our kiss.
Bradon looked at with a blank look on his face before his expression transford into one of confusion.
“I’m sick?” he asked with a surprisingly blank and innocent look on his face.
