“What gift?” Olivia Armstrong was very curious, “Show what you got.”

Isla continued, “The brooch Mrs. Thompson gave is really made of diamonds…”
The official price was over three million.
Olivia’s eyes widened, “Oh my goodness! The diamond ring you bought last ti was so tiny and cost twenty thousand yuan, and your brooch is all big diamonds, how much must it be worth?”
Having finished speaking, Olivia then said, “Isla, we can’t accept such an expensive item from soone, rember to give it back to Brandon.”
Hearing this, William Astir imdiately nodded, “Yes, yes, give it back to Brandon.”
However, Olivia was very happy. The Thompson Family giving Isla such an expensive gift on their first eting showed that they really liked Isla.
Isla nodded, “I know.”

Mary continued, “Brandon, it would be best if you could set a date for our families to et during this visit.”
“Mhm.” Mandel Thompson nodded slightly, “Mom, I’m heading out now.”
“Go ahead.” Mary waved him off, her eyes brimming with satisfaction.
She had waited far too long for this day.
The Astir couple was also very excited; they got up at six in the morning, then went to the largest fresh market nearby to shop for supplies.
Since Mandel Thompson was no ordinary person, they were afraid he might not be accustod to the market’s produce.
At eight o’clock, the couple returned with the groceries, and Isla Astir had just woken up, “Mom, Dad, you two brought back the groceries so early?”
Olivia was speechless, “It’s already eight o’clock and you call it early? Nino and Lai Bao woke your dad up at six o’clock.”
Ever since adopting two dogs, William Astir hadn’t slept in once.
Olivia continued, “I’ll sort out the groceries. I bought a huge crab, that king crab you ntioned before, Isla. What flavor does Brandon like? Stead or Typhoon Shelter style?”
Isla Astir smiled and said, “He’s not fussy. Whatever you make, he’ll eat.”
After thinking, Olivia decided to prepare the king crab for steaming, as stead crab can be dipped in sauce without being picky about flavor.
At nine-thirty in the morning.
Mandel Thompson arrived at the Astir family’s ho.
Although he had been there many tis before, this ti was different. He was coming as Isla Astir’s boyfriend.
Isla and her parents went to the entrance to receive him.
Seeing the trunk full of items, Olivia instantly scolded, “Brandon, if you’re coming, just co. Why bring so much stuff? It’s just your uncle, you, and , Isla, at ho—we won’t be able to finish all this!”
William nodded in agreent, “Your aunt’s right. It’s not easy for the young to earn money, don’t spend it carelessly.”
Mandel Thompson smiled and said, “Uncle and aunt, this is my first official visit, so naturally, I shouldn’t neglect the proprieties. Initially, my parents also wanted to co along, but as they are unfamiliar with your customs, they were worried that a hasty visit might disrupt you two.”
