Chapter 1827: 440: Suwen is a great beauty

Terrence Lentz really wasn’t joking.

If Suwen really had the ability, she would certainly be able to avoid the bomb.

If Suwen had no such ability, then she would get what she deserved.

Indeed, there is little use for a doctor who stands by and watches a patient die.

Gabrie swallowed hard, “Third Master, then, should I arrange for the bomber now?”

Gabrie was a man of great gentlemanly deanor.

He usually didn’t dare raise his voice when speaking to a girl, for fear of frightening her.

Now, to hold a bomb against a defenseless girl, he truly couldn’t do it!

Terrence Lentz slightly raised his head, “Do you want to repeat it a third ti?”

His voice was not loud.

Yet, it was filled with an oppressive force.

Although Gabrie was reluctant, he didn’t dare to disobey the Third Master’s command and could only nod, “I’ll handle it right away!”

“Go,” Terrence Lentz said in a light tone.

Gabrie turned and left.

As he walked away, he muttered in his heart that it was none of his business.

Suwen had better not trouble him.

The Sumr family’s banquet continued.

Mary Perryne carried her glass as she caught up with Mrs. Sumr.

“Is Jean not leaving the country this ti?” Mary looked toward Mrs. Sumr.

Mrs. Sumr nodded, “Yes, she’s not leaving. Old Sumr and I only have this daughter, and as we’re getting older, it’s important to have a child to uphold the family’s presence.”

Speaking of which, Mrs. Sumr looked at Mary with an envious expression, “I really envy you. Having so many children, the festivals must be very lively at your place.”

It wasn’t just during the festivals, their place was always very lively.

Hearing this, Mary smiled and said, “What did I tell you back then? Have one more, for Jean to have a companion. You didn’t want to! Regretting it now, aren’t you?”

Mrs. Sumr exclaid, “Exactly!”

Now that she was older, regret was pointless.

Mary continued, “Don’t feel regretful, having many children has its benefits, and having few also has its perks. For the two of you who enjoy quiet, having just one child like Jean is nice.”

Mrs. Sumr nodded, “That’s also true. It’s strange, isn’t it? When we were young, we liked quiet, but now that we are old, we actually prefer a bit of noise!”

If ti could flow backward, Mrs. Sumr would certainly choose to have a second or third child along with Mary.

It seed Mary rembered sothing, smiled and said, “Right, what’s the situation with your Jean now? Does she have a boyfriend?”

Mrs. Sumr shook her head, “Old Sumr and I were just talking about this last night! She is thirty-two and there’s not a peep of interest!”

As parents, they all wanted to retire earlier to enjoy their later years with grandchildren.

“Let the child’s issues be; worrying is useless! My three are just the sa, no action!” Mary consoled.

“How old is your Brandon now?” Mrs. Sumr asked.

Mary thought for a mont, “He’s the sa age as Jean.”

Mandel Thompson had just turned thirty-two this year.

Mrs. Sumr jokingly said, “How about we set them up? After all, you have several sons; just marry one into our family!”

Jean was, after all, a girl, and she held many years of friendship with the Sumr couple. At such a ti, Mary naturally couldn’t disrespect Mrs. Sumr’s face.

Even if Mary didn’t particularly like Jean, she still had to smile and say, “If the two children really can co together, then it would be Brandon who’s reaching high.”

She said this as Jean just happened to pass by.

Jean’s mouth curled into a slight smile.

It seed, not only did Mandel Thompson like her quite a bit, but even Mary had accepted her as a daughter-in-law.

Being with Mandel Thompson indeed ant he was reaching high.

Hearing this, Mrs. Sumr smiled and said, “Oh no, Mary, you shouldn’t say that, talking about reaching high. Your Brandon is so outstanding, it’s our Jean who would be the one reaching high if anyone is.”

Mary followed up with, “Our words don’t matter, it’s the 21st Century now, arranged marriages aren’t the trend. It has to be the two children liking each other that counts.”

If Mandel Thompson truly liked Jean and couldn’t help himself, even if Mary didn’t like Jean, she would have no choice but to agree.

Because she had walked that path herself.

When she was with Sawyer Thompson, everyone doubted it.

However, Mary knew her son.

Mandel Thompson probably wasn’t the type to like soone like Jean.

Mrs. Sumr nodded in agreent, “Not just now, even during our ti arranged marriages were not the trend.”
