The big-eyed cute girl sipped her cold coffee while quietly summing things up.

After a short break, she dove back into the library, starting her "book-fishing" journey!

But up until lunch, she hadn’t found another book that could rival "I Really Didn’t Want to Reincarnate".

As expected, discovering a book of such quality is like finding a needle in a haystack!

The big-eyed cute girl sighed quietly while checking the ssages in the backend, only to find that the author with the nickna "Shen’s Tutoring" still hadn’t contacted her, nor filled out the contract information.

No way, dude, you publish a book and don’t even check the backend?

The big-eyed cute girl couldn’t help silently grumbling in her heart.

Just then, her colleague Yao Xuejing walked up to her workstation: "Let’s go, ngng, to the cafeteria for lunch!"

"Mm, mm."

The big-eyed cute girl, Tao ng, nodded quickly and closed the webpage on her computer screen.

"All mysterious, did you find a good book and afraid I’d snatch it?"

Yao Xuejing teased with a cheerful smile, noticing Tao ng’s little action.

The two had joined Penguin Novels at the sa ti and were still within their three-month internship period, technically in competition with each other.

"No!"

"Where’s there any good book in the library!"

Tao ng decisively shook her head, then directly changed the topic: "What do you want to eat today?"

"Rice noodles, maybe."

Yao Xuejing replied casually, but her mind was recalling the computer screen she had just seen; the title seed to have the words "reincarnate".

Upon joining Penguin Novels, editors had to give themselves a userna, and Yao Xuejing’s was [Green Tea]!

This userna inadvertently revealed her "attributes".

She was indeed quite green tea-like and sowhat cunning.

She had just asked casually, but Tao ng’s answer was very decisive, with a faint hint of panic, which was a bit unusual.

Which ans, she probably guessed right!

Tao ng found a good book.

With her suspicions in mind, after lunch, Yao Xuejing didn’t chat idly like she usually did with the fish in the pond, but sat in front of her computer and started working overti.

Quickly, she found the new book "I Really Didn’t Want to Reincarnate" based on the keyword "reincarnate"!

As she clicked on this book, she felt a bit disdainful in her heart: The title is average, the synopsis is average, another clichéd reincarnation the, what’s so good about it?

But given Tao ng’s importance, she still patiently started reading the text.

As a result, once she started, she couldn’t stop...

When the words "To be continued" appeared before her, Yao Xuejing subconsciously clenched her fist, then glanced at Tao ng’s workstation. At this mont, the other was napping on the desk.

After a mont of hesitation, she still sent a contract invitation to "Shen’s Tutoring".

High-quality new books like this are hard to co by; naturally, Yao Xuejing didn’t want to miss the opportunity.

However, normally, if another editor has proposed a contract for a book, she shouldn’t do it again; this is considered an unspoken rule in the editorial departnt.

But since there’s no explicit regulation, occasionally, two editors might propose a contract for the sa book, which then requires the author to make a choice, to contact whoever they actively want, and to click the link from whover to fill out the contract.

After sending the contract invitation, Yao Xuejing still felt uneasy. She simply went into the backend to check "Shen’s Tutoring" personal profile, then went to a quiet spot in the hallway and dialed the number...

On the other side.

After lunch, Shen Qiushan was working out with his old lover to aid digestion.

He actually didn’t plan to co today, but Chen Xiangyu said she wanted to discuss tutoring the two kids with him.

For the sake of the children, Shen Qiushan had to show up.

And after the al, Chen Xiangyu said she wanted to rest for a while...

Shen Qiushan couldn’t resist the temptation and started working out voluntarily.

The phone rang at a critical mont.

Shen Qiushan glanced at the phone on the bedside table, seeing it was from an unfamiliar number, and decided not to answer.

However, Chen Xiangyu picked up the phone and pressed the answer key...
