NO ONE’S POV
Dominic’s fingers instantly froze against her skin. The next mont, he pulled his hand back and curled his fingers tightly into a fist, his knuckles turning white. His dark eyes burned right through her with fury.
A mory flashed in his mind. Just a minute ago, he had seen Enzo walking away from this exact area with a smug smile. And the very next mont, when Dominic arrived on the terrace, he had found Vivien’s dazed, slumbered body resting against the table, completely defenseless. To hear her look up and whisper that specific man’s na broke the last string of his control.
"Look at ," Dominic commanded, his voice a whisper.
He stepped even closer, forcing her to look at him. His thumb slid up, pressing firmly against her soft lower lip. He deliberately sared the red wine stain across her skin in a possessive gesture.
"Say that na again, Vivien. See what happens," he whispered sharply.
Vivien’s drunk brain tried to process what was going on but The world was spinning too fast, and her head felt heavy. She let out a small, confused whimper. She tried to stand up but her legs felt like jelly.
Her hands instinctively ca up to rest against his broad chest just to keep herself from falling, as her knees grew weaker by the second.
"B-Boss...?" she mumbled, her vision trying to focus.
Hearing her finally recognize him did absolutely nothing to calm the murderous storm brewing in his chest.
"Didn’t I ordered you to call by my na?"
Dominic’s eyes flicked down to her flushed face, her heavily drooping eyelids, and the empty wine glass she was still loosely clutching in her hand.
Without a word, he reached down, snatched the glass from her trembling fingers, and tossed it onto the nearby table, completely unbothered if it shattered to pieces.
"You drink whatever you find, you wander off alone, and you call by another man’s na," Dominic whispered.
He leaned down until his face was just inches from hers, his hot breath falling against her burning skin. "You really are trying to test my patience tonight, aren’t you?"
Vivien parted her lips, trying to open her slurred mouth to defend herself. She wanted to explain that her throat had been burning because of Alia’s dirty trick, and that she only drank the wine to soothe the pain.
But Dominic did not give her the chance to speak.
Before she could utter a single syllable, Dominic smoothly slid one arm behind her back and the other beneath her knees. With a single, effortless motion, he lifted her straight up into his arms in a tight bridal carry.
Vivien let out a soft gasp of surprise, her hands clutching his shoulders as her head rolled back against his firm chest. The sudden movent made the entire world spin even faster for her, forcing her to close her eyes and lean into his warmth.
Dominic did not care about the scene he was making. He did not care about the gossiping high-society crowd that would surely see them.
Turning on his shoe, he strode directly past the curtains and toward the private exit of the grand estate. His grip around her body was incredibly tight, making it crystal clear that he had absolutely no intention of ever letting her out of his sight again.
The driver ca running toward the car as soon as his eyes fell over them, bowing his head in deep respect the mont he reached Dominic.
Dominic didn’t say a single word. He simply slipped one hand out from beneath Vivien’s sleeping form and held his palm open. "Keys," he commanded flatly.
The driver quickly placed the keys into his palm. Dominic carefully opened the door, placed Vivien gently onto the passenger seat, and then walked around to slip down into the driver’s seat. Before closing his door, he looked out at his head assistant, who was standing by the window waiting for orders.
"What’s the report on Alia?" Dominic asked, his voice calm.
"Boss, Miss Alia was last spotted with a man, who is likely her companion for today," the assistant reported quickly. "He took her to his car just a bit ago. It’s that Enzo guy you told to report on before."
Dominic nodded slowly. "Keep a close eye on them. And inform my mother that we left early." He then looked down at Vivien, who was resting her flushed face against the car seat. His voice dropped into a final tone. "Don’t let anyone disturb tonight. Even if it involves Company affairs"
"Yes, Boss," the assistant nodded, stepping back and leaving imdiately to carry out the orders. He bretahed out in relief, indeed his boss wasn’t guy aha!
Left alone in the quiet luxury car, Dominic reached over and gently pulled a stray strand of hair away from Vivien’s face. He brought the soft lock to his lips and kissed it gently. As he stared down at her peaceful, sleeping face, his eyes suddenly started glowing with an unhealthy obsession. He started the engine, and the car sped off into the dark night.
The scene shifted across the estate parking lot.
Inside a different luxury car, Enzo looked down at Alia’s slumbering body with pure annoyance. She was sweating profusely from the heavy sedative she had swallowed, her makeup slightly ruined.
"Ugh... so hot..." Alia gasped out, her eyes half-closed as she tried to lean her heavy body over Enzo’s arm for comfort.
Enzo didn’t hesitate for a second. He violently jerked his arm away, letting her flop miserably against the passenger door. "I am not your so-called Dominic, so keep your filthy hands off , Alia," he warned, his voice dripping with disgust.
Alia let out a pathetic whine, curling into a ball on the seat, completely miserable as the drug took full control of her system.
Enzo beca more and more annoyed as he stared out the window. He had been having such a fun ti watching Vivien from the balcony, completely amused by her reactions. But just as he was about to step in and finally take his precious Viella away from the party, this annoying girl had called him crying and begging for help. Because of Alia’s stupidity, his perfect mont had been completely ruined.
"What did you even do?!" Enzo shouted, glaring down at her with a look of pure disgust.
Totally unfazed by his anger, Alia’s eyes remained completely dazed and glazed over.
She unbuckled her seatbelt with trembling hands and started crawling across the console toward him, her breathing heavy and ragged. "You sll so good, baby... let make you feel good~" she whimpered, reaching out for his shirt.
The exact mont she draped her heavy body over him, Enzo’s eyes beca dangerously cold. He caught the frantic scent of the expensive wine pouring off her breath, and the pieces instantly clicked together in his mind.
"Tsk. You actually drank the drug-mixed wine?" he muttered, rolling his eyes in absolute disbelief. "And it’s not even a normal sedative, but a seductive one. What a troubleso, stupid girl."
Without an ounce of gentleness, he grabbed her by the shoulders and pushed her violently back into the passenger seat.
"Touch again and I will literally throw you out of this moving car," he warned, his voice freezing over as he stared her down. "Let’s see how this spoiled daddy’s girl likes being left on the side of the road for the whole night!"
Hearing the harsh threat through her drug-induced haze, Alia finally whimpered and cald down. Realizing he was completely serious, she let out a frustrated huff and turned her head away, staring miserably out the window as the car sped through the dark streets.
____________
Soon, Dominic reached his private estate. Because he had dismissed all the guards, maids, and staff earlier, the massive house was completely dark and quiet. He looked down at the girl cradled securely in his arms.
Vivien was sleeping peacefully, her flushed cheeks making her look entirely innocent and soft. A dark satisfied smile rose onto his face as he walked up the grand staircase toward his master bedroom.
Inside his room, things were slightly different. Over the past few weeks, he had carefully replaced a few of his own belongings with Vivien’s things- small items she hadn’t even noticed were missing from her own apartnt.
He walked over to the mattress and placed her down gently over the soft sheets. The mont she left his cold embrace, Vivien let out a small, uncomfortable whine, her body instantly missing his warmth as she curled onto her side.
Dominic stood over the bed, slowly loosening his black tie and unbuttoning the top collars of his shirt.
"Why would you drink so much when you can’t even handle it?" Dominic said, his voice sounding a bit hoarse in the quiet room.
"So hot..." Vivien muttered, her voice a soft like slurred whisper against the quiet room.
As Dominic leaned over her, she felt the refreshing, soothing coldness radiating from his skin. Seeking relief from the burning heat flushing through her body, she instinctively reached up and wrapped her slender arms around his neck, pulling herself up to snuggle deeply into his solid embrace.
Dominic’s eyes beca completely frosty the mont her soft, warm body pressed against his chest. He could feel his own body temperature rising, a spark igniting deep inside him. He tightly closed his eyes, taking a slow, deep breath to steady his racing pulse, before opening them again to force himself to remain calm.
"Sleep like a good girl. Don’t cause trouble," he muttered against her hair, his voice thick and strained as he gently tried to untangle her arms and push her back onto the pillows.
But Vivien only whined in protest, tightening her hold. "So hot..." she mumbled again, shifting restlessly against the sheets. As she moved, the delicate strap of her dress slipped down her shoulder, exposing more of her skin to the cool air.
Dominic’s eyes darkened into a pitch-black abyss. The tight thread of his control was dangerously close to snapping. Acting on pure instinct, he grabbed both of her wrists in one of his large hands, pinning them firmly above her head against the mattress to stop her from moving any further.
He leaned down until his lips were brushing against her ear, his hot breath falling over her.
"Don’t you rember what happened last ti when you drank so much... Viella?" he whispered.
