Chapter 195
Werewolves turn mad on the night of the full moon, the sa characteristic of any werewolf in any fantasy, story, or book. Of course, there were so inconsistencies but the gist of it was sowhat the sa.
However, werewolves ca to form due to mutation. It’s not like they existed in the world from the beginning. Just like the vampires were the work of ancient witchcraft, the werewolves were a side product of a madman as well who wanted to achieve immortality by combining man and beast.
I don’t know if it was the sa for this world but that was how in one of the fragnts I had been. I then studied the material quite well and managed to revert the chiras back to human form but it wasn’t what I was hoping for.
Werewolves ca to form due to that. Beasts in human form. They were stronger, faster, and better in every aspect than a human but they had one drawback, their hunger and due to that, their bloodlust.
It is said when a werewolf loses itself in hunger, it destroys everything in sight, even its own kin. And since the power of the moon was used to make them, the power of the moon was also a shackle to them.
Where the shackle of the moon was supposed to keep them suppressed, it only turned them into irrational monsters instead and the havoc was sothing no one had ever seen. In the end, I had to kill that entire race but then I encountered them in different fragnts. They weren’t the sa but from the base, they felt sowhat the sa.
In the end, at the deep cellular levels, they were just mutations. Cellular mutations occur due to many reasons, sotis human evolution that human cells reject but the potential remains. Or sotis, soone, like that mad scientist, tried to tap into that hidden potential, awakening sothing that could not be humanly possible.
In other words, in simpler words, it was just a simple energy deficit. Energy deficit induced hunger and that in turn induced madness and irrationality. Starve a human for a long ti, even they would beco animalistic over a drop of water. Energy deficit in the state of a transformation, worse.
So what if there was a simple way of providing them with energy that could maintain itself for so ti? Let us say a year. A massive power source would be needed for that.
A power source that I didn’t lack.
[The power of soul]
I wouldn’t know as I had only touched the potential of what a true soul was, but theoretically, the soul has more power than a hundred suns. I wouldn’t know for sure but given that, just a few points of soul power, which wasn’t still fully developed, were enough to dispel the power of a man who spent years on it, it may not be as powerful as suns, but it didn’t lose to at least one sun.
[So what do you intend to do?]
’Fight poison with poison.’
The energy deficit was like a virus to werewolves that would compel them to eat even when they were full because of the power of the moon. It was a poison, a virus. So the treatnt to that was also simple, I was going to make a virus.
But why stop at that? Why not do sothing to the vampire race to make them realize who they had ssed with?
According to the theory, a werewolf bit can dispel the powers of a vampire. Their healing power, as well as their blood powers. Reducing them to a powerless state.
[So you’re going to make two viruses]
’Yep,’ I replied with a mischievous grin on my face.

After three hours, I went to the man, who still hadn’t introduced himself and since he wasn’t in the novel, he wasn’t introduced. Only three Chapters, in which he was known as ’The Calamity’ was all that was ntioned of him. And even in that, his full power was displayed, just that he fought the guardian of the demon race and won, easily.
The line went as follows, ’The Calamity had defeated Ragnar on the western front, silently helping humanity.’
"Are you done? You’re cutting it very close." He ntioned as the sun was starting to go down and the shine in his eyes was increasing by the minute.
I nodded and said, "Yes, I am. You just need to drink it, and then nick, bite, or scratch another werewolf. And then they have to do the sa to all the other werewolves in the forest. You will be short on ti so it would be better to do it right now."
However, he didn’t share the sa sense of urgency as mine. He stared at the blood-red vial that had taken ingredients he could not even imagine, my poor shop coins, and then looked at , "How do I know this isn’t an attempt to poison us?"
"You don’t. And that’s the whole point." I said in return, no fear evident in my voice. The answer was simple, humans were deceitful. However, I wanted to show him that I wasn’t. Of course, he wasn’t going to take my words at face value but he stared at for a while before he gulped it down in one go.
"Tastes like blood." He said as he licked his lips.
"It is blood." My blood, most of it anyway, infused with soul power and other ingredients full of the power of life, he won’t go mad from bloodlust as energy would be sothing that would never run out of him.
"And now, I simply have to bite or sohow transfer it to others?" He asked to which I simply nodded.
He waited for a few minutes before he stood up and growled. It was weird, hearing him growl in human form but his growl was perfect like a beast. Soon, two more people entered, one man and one woman.
"You called for us, father?" They both asked as they knelt on the cave ground.
"Yes." The man replied and simply walked over to his children while his nails elongated and scratched both of them on their cheeks.
As soon as he did, they were surprised but at the sa mont, they felt sothing else. Sothing primal extinguishing. I smirked as their eyes went wide because this test was successful.
Even the man felt it too and smirked as he said, "Go, and touch and scratch everyone like I just did to you. To everyone in the forest, even the newborn cubs."
"But father..." the woman began to speak to ask but the man shook his head as he said, "Not now, we don’t have much ti. The blood moon cos in a while. We need to get everyone before that."
The woman swallowed her questions back while the other man said, "Yes, father. We will do as you say."
The man turned to and said, "And now for the other thing, you need my help with that?"
"Not with that, but I need your help with sothing else," I replied.
"What?" He simply asked.
I needed him to do sothing that only soone of his power level could do.
I smirked and replied, "To tear a hole in space."

"You went against my advice," Alastair said as he stood behind Astaroth and looked at Dàghar with a disapproving gaze.
"It seems you have overestimated your importance, Alastair. Know your place." Dàghar replied with arrogance practically dripping from his mouth.
"I guess you all have made your choice then," Alastair looked at the rest at the table. He knew that Dàghar didn’t have the guts to act like that unless it was a decision of the entire table and he was right. No one replied but their gazes gave him all the answers he needed.
Alastair smiled and said, "Whatever happens next, is on you."
Alastair said as he turned around to leave but was stopped by his father, "Stop. I haven’t permitted you to leave."
"Then stop ," Alastair said and turned around to leave. The others at the table could only watch, even Astaroth didn’t do anything about it.
What was happening at the table was clear. They were trying to remind Alastair that although he was an apostle, he wasn’t their leader. He was beneath them, they wanted him to know that.
That was why they had gone against his advice and changed the plan to a great degree.
"Let him leave. We don’t need him anyway." Julianna replied, dissatisfied by Alastair’s behavior.
The others, including Astaroth, were also dissatisfied by Alastair’s actions but no one said anything to express their distaste.
Dàghar instead laughed and said, "Why would we let her go when we can finish the task in one go? We will make her go mad in just one turn. We have your inventions to stop the humans after all."
Dàghar pointed at the dwarves and the gnos. They chuckled and everyone else also agreed.
No one in the room expected the calamity that was about to co and the who did, he was already thrown out.
