Seth has been through a lot in his last life. He has been put under bone-freezing cold and has been forced to walk on tracks of burning coal barefoot in order to prepare his body for his job as a bodyguard of such a prominent lady.
But those hardships were always had been straining his physical limits. He was ntally not being challenged that much since he had pretty much no one in his past life he has attached to his heart to get hurt. Yes, he had parents but they were so occupied with their job that he barely got ti to form a bond with them. The only mother he ever considered soone was Duchess Valarie in this life who genuinely cared for Seth.
However, if not for familial love from his blood relations in his past life, then he had Mayu beside him all the ti he could rember. Seth never doubted her nor had any fear of being separated from Mayu since she was herself pretty devoted to him to ever think about backstabbing Seth.
Seth was not sure whether he would have any relationship as he had with Mayu, with anyone. But his delusions were torn when he reached the third year of high school and found himself surrounded by his friends who were equally important like how Mayu was to him.
He considered them irreplaceable people with whom Seth wanted to live until his last monts. They were his life and everything he could have ever asked for.
And now...when he has co this far...and left all his important people behind in his past life, or so he thought, soone suddenly cos up and tells Seth that those whom he considered friends were actually after his life? They tried to kill him on different occasions when he was there to sacrifice himself in a beat?
Those who always helped Seth to move forward and helped him feel alive and more human, those people were actually trying to take his life for their selfish reasons and never thought to even tell him about their hatred or what Seth did wrong along the path? Unbelievable. Utterly impossible!
"Don't fucking screw with !"
Ethan's feet staggered as his eyes widened in utter shock and horror as he felt the weight of tons weighing down his shoulders and his subconscious screaming for him to run away from the entity who just roared out those words.
Ethan's breathing grew ragged as he saw the killing intent covering Seth's deanor, making him seem like a predator who has been craving blood for a long ti. Ethan staggered back in a fret as he stared at Seth's darkened figure with wide eyes, without daring to blink in fear of getting his neck separated any mont he takes his eyes off this boy...no, this monster.
'When did he get this freakin strong?!'
Ethan asked himself as his mind urged him to run as away as he could but Ethan knew the current Seth was powerful enough that only the headmaster could handle him in this place but whether that old man would arrive before Seth subtracts Ethan from existence was a matter of serious contemplation.
Ethan has been keeping tabs on Seth since the ti he realized that his soul has finally arrived that fateful day. Other than the event during the vacations when Ethan was busy implanting the Charr in Haruka and convincing her to marriage, Ethan has been-
'Yeah, during that period...he must have attained so artifact...this bastard!'
Ethan despite having his legs shaky and cold sweat already drenching his back, walked forward and locked his gaze on the green-haired boy before he spoke in a firm tone.
"Accept it Ryuuta. You were being backstabbed by everyone including your sister-KHAK!!"
Before Ethan could have comprehended or even flinch, he found his back hitting sothing hard and his windpipe being blocked due to the pressure on his neck which was currently in the tight grasp of Seth.
Ethan knew, the current Seth was anything but calm and might kill him if he doesn't throw the perfect dice and trigger Seth's attention to the matter that how important it was for him to hear the whole 'truth'.
Despite struggling, Ethan was not so weak that he wouldn't be able to utter the words he needed to save his life. With great difficulty and while reinforcing himself with Soul Energy, he forced his words out sohow.
"W-Who do you think...was the fir-first person hah...to know about this transmigration...It was your de-dear sister who c-cause all of our d-death Ryu...Believe it o-or n-ughhh!"
Seth's grip tightened as a low growl left his throat threatening the blond man to shut his mouth right at the instant and surely he did so.
To be honest, despite being agitated enough to slaughter this man right at this instance despite knowing who he was, Seth's rational mind was suggesting sothing otherwise.
Saito was going to die anyways, that was for sure since Seth could tolerate anything but betrayal was that phase that he never allowed in his life and he never would. And the people whom he trusted for his life were suspected of being the true foe he never realized of...Seth indeed was rather leaning on to hear what this bastard has to say before ceasing his existence.
*DHAK*
"Hah...Hah...."
Letting go of the blondie, Seth took the chair and turning its face toward the laboring man, Seth sat with his elbows resting on his knees as Seth's green orbs stared directly at the man who was still struggling to get the air out of his swollen neck which had reddish fingermark around the skin.
"Tell sothing which can make your death a little..just a little painful since whatever you say right now Saito, at the end of the day only one of us would be walking out of this office. So start talking."
Ethan who was now a little calr after being released from that death-gripping hold, internally smirked since what he wanted was served on the platter by his dear foolish friend who always gets manipulated easily.
Before coming here, Ethan has envisioned this developnt among the other possibilities so he was rather planned what he had to confess at the mont to get himself to stay alive. There were many facts that could emotionally damage Seth, well it was another story that those bits of mories would be false but that's that. Anything is allowed until Ethan gets to live and plan his future endeavor against Seth. And since Ethan was wearing an artifact to protect him from ntal interference, Seth would be able to do nothing rather than believe his words.
"I-"
"You don't have to bark anything, Saito. I will myself tell my Nii-sama the truth he deserves."
Just when Ethan was about to begin the act, soone barged inside the room, pulling Ethan's attention. The way Seth seed unfazed, proved that he must have already sensed this arrival however as soon Seth heard the words leaving the lips of a certain familiar person, he lost his composure.
Nii-sama?
Turning his head he affird that the magical energy he sensed belonged to none other than Anabelle who had Haruka beside her as well. However, the older woman seed to be in so kind of daze with a dark green spell ring rotating around her head and her eyes drowsy like she was half asleep.
Seth's eyes lingered on the professor who had to do nothing with this and was just got dragged into his ss before he focused on the raven-haired girl he could have never expected to be the person whom he considered his imouto in the past life.
However, the shock at Mayu's new reality was subdued by a greater fright when her following words registered in his senses making him stunned in the process.
"I know you might never be able to forgive , but just as this dog said Nii-sama...I indeed was the person who killed you in the last life...."

A/N:- Seth was emotionally unstable to use his skills on Ethan and also he wanted to hear everything from Ethan's mouth which was why he let go of him in the first place.
