'The heck with her… '

The main heroine is stirring more and more troubled.

First, she announced the annulnt of my and Laila's engagent. Second, she clearly has been smiling creepily for a while like she doesn't care about the people around her and only using them as tools.

And now she assertively approached with her previous chilling smirk disappearing. The smile I was greeted with was so radiant that I almost lost my facade as a an villain.

Not like I am anti of beautiful girls. Haruka is a heck of a charming woman. It's like, I don't want to get involved with Anabelle in any way possible since I know what a disaster she is.

Other than being the main love interest of the plot armored protagonist, her traits, and her origin are my primary source of wariness.

In a fluster by the unexpected turn of events I didn't return her handkerchief before she walked back to the audience.

'Well, it would be inappropriate to give it back like this… '

I put the handkerchief in my pocket before I heard a small growl from the other side of the mat. Oh, I forgot I was sparring.

"Are you alright to go for the second round?"

Kevin turned a deaf ear to the referee since his focus was directed at . Or to say, his anger was concentrated on .

Well, it was understandable since he was trained by a knight who doesn't know the word called 'defeat'. Kevin must've been following his father's steps.

In the novel, he accepted his defeat from Arata because it wasn't just a re spar. They fought with their lives on the line.

Arata won sohow without using his skills even though his opponent did and in the end, the hero spared Kevin's life and thus began their journey as close friends and partners in cri.

Well, I wasn't seeking any kind of close friend even though Kevin might be useful. His temperant is repulsive, that's all.

'For now, let's just pack this up… '

I studied his stance and realized that this ti once again, this blockhead is going to attack head-on. But unlike last ti, he didn't have any visible openings in his posture.

He indeed was agitated as per what I could sense, but by no ans he was going to foolishly fight this ti.

'Very well… '

I chose to beco a little serious since this was the second-strongest first year in front of after all.

Raising both my fist, I took a typical boxing stance with my gaze fixated on the man. Hoping at my place I heard the referee comncing the second round.

"Ready. Fight!!"

"Uoooooo!!"

Kevin charged, as I expected, from the front on with his right leg in front before he leaped and halted so inches apart from .

After the halt, he rotated in mid-air and did a 360° roundhouse kick targeted right on the left side of his face.

**DHAAK**

I easily blocked his kick with my back wrist and without delay, I kicked his other foot which landed on the ground, to throw him off balance.

"Ah!"

Kevin exclaid since he thought the speed he utilized would at least make slightly startled but I already predicted such a move.

During a roundhouse kick, the most vulnerable spot a martial artist leaves is their other foot which they ground to keep their balance.

I just targeted that and…

**BAM**

Kevin fell to the ground as I also dropped myself in succession and landed my knee on his throat to restrain him from any further struggle.

"Let…. Let go!! You cheap trickster!"

I really wanted to spat 'Pathetic' but I held back since the referee announced the match and asked to let go of Kevin.

Seriously he throws tantrums like a child all around the place. Not only he was throwing up curses at for using so sly moves but also started to push the referees away.

But well, that was his biggest mistake.

**CREAK**

"Fuck!!"

One of the referees used Block Captivator and cuffed Kevin's hand to restrict him from moving. The locks only get packed as much as the person tried to break free.

A set of Captivators cuffed Kevin's legs as well before one of the Referees used Levitation to take Kevin away.

"I-I will make you pay for this…you bastard!!"

He shouted until the end but not like he would be leaving the detention any ti soon. There is a possibility of his guardian being contacted for the treason he perford. But I have thought of any possible repercussions as well.

"If that's all, then I will be leaving."

"Y-Yes, please do."

I inford the instructor in-charge and started to walk away. There were a lot of things I have to sort and also I have to practice my skills.

What I can't afford was useless chattering. But well, I raise my own flags.

"Anno, Senpai?"

I felt a tug on my sleeve before I turned toward the source of voice only to get startled. There she stood again.

This damn heroine.
