It has been a day since Haruka woke up from her slumber and Anabelle has been resting in the mansion to recover her condition back to normal. The risky part of her treatnt lies in her ntal state which was unstable enough to bring threat to the lives of those who were residing in the mansion.
Since Seth had so urgent matters to deal with for which he needed Haruka, the young man took Anabelle to the main residence along with Haruka. Ciel naturally didn't follow them since she had her trials for the upcoming tournant but she pleaded with Seth over ten tis to keep Anabelle safe.
It was a given fact that Arata was going to get stronger from hereon and now that Seth knew whose soul resides inside the protagonist's body, he could no longer delay his trip to acquire so specific artifacts to prepare himself for the possible threat.
"Aww...my baby ca to et after so long and you are leaving already?"
Valarie whined while holding Seth's hand as they sat inside her office where Seth ca to report her, his imdiate plan related to his venture. He needed soone to keep an eye on Anabelle and has the strength to subdue the girl in case she goes berserk.
It was true that Lara and so of the high-posted maids are strong and could have overpowered Anabelle but their skills are made to kill their opponent not to suppress them. It was given, in the attempt, they might have gotten injured that was why Seth chose the safest option.
Not many people know that Anabelle despite being a healer, how dangerous could she be. She has extracted the essence of the World tree a lot before then the plot should have allowed her. And now Seth knows the reason for it. Also, why Arata seed to be a little possessive of Laila, Serena, and Anabelle in the past. He must have been seeing the plot through Keita's eyes which forced him to believe that everything was in his grasp and he just had to act according to it.
Forcing his attention back to the lady in front, Seth sighed in resignation at how two-faced his mother could be. Just the head maid outside the office said that the Duchess has been a little worked up these days so he should tread carefully. But seeing her now...
"I have to go Mother since fulfilling my promise to win this tournant requires so preparation."
Valarie was elated to see how serious her son was about this tournant, not because he was an ambitious kind of person who likes to show off his strength but just because he doesn't want to break his words to his mother.
How adorable can he be? Valarie had no words to describe how much she has fallen for her son already~
"Now that I think...that woman you ca with... Haruka was it right? Tell , you have your eyes on her, don't you?"
Seth was rather surprised to hear that his mother could even tell his liking just after seeing the professor once. He really can't hide anything from this woman, can he?
With another long sigh, Seth didn't jump away from the question and answered truthfully.
"Yes Mother, I love her."
Valerie was taken aback by the sudden confession signifying that Seth was rather serious about the young lady who ca with him. But soon her surprise shifted as with her gaze narrowed and a seductive smirk adorning her charming thin lips, the blond lady asked in a whispering tone.
"Never knew my son had such mature taste~ Want to train you how to please a grown-up?"
Seth felt like sighing once again seeing the misleading words of the Duchess before he replied in a flat tone.
"Please keep those lessons limited to father, will you? And also, I hope you look after Anabelle in my absence if possible, okay?"
Valarie pouted having her fun ruined by her ever-serious son who doesn't even get flustered even once. Reluctantly she let go of his hand before turning herself to the table as she reassured him in a warm tone.
"Don't worry about her, son and please do take care of yourself out there, okay?"
With a soft smile, the jade-haired man got up from his seat before bidding his farewell, leaving behind his parting words.
"I will see you soon, Mother."

Inside the reception where the violet-haired woman sat uncomfortably on the sofa while clutching the glass of juice with both of her hands, Seth felt like chuckling. The appearance of the easy-going and confident Haruka was way different from what expression she currently wore.
Her calm and motherly deanor was nowhere to be seen but only a child who was scared to be left in a strange place could be seen as he approached the woman. Clamping her knees together and her bubbly butt pressed at the edge of her seat describes her anxiety in the Albeck mansion even though Seth told her to feel like it was her ho.
"Sorry to make you wait, professor."
"Ah, Seth!"
Haruka got up instantly from her seat upon hearing the voice she dearly wanted to hear in this place where she only knew Seth. Seth indeed told her that he needs to drop Anabelle sowhere for her treatnt but never in her wildest dreams, she thought he would bring her to none other than Duchess Valarie's territory and more so, to the Albeck mansion of all of the places.
"I apologize that mother was not able to et you since she is busy with her work. I hope you don't mind."
Haruka shook her head vigorously to dismiss those thoughts which in fact Haruka was glad about.
"Not at all. In fact, I would have felt bad to take Lady Duches's ti just to make her et soone like ."
Haruka had a lot of admiration for Valarie. Not only she but many won around the globe respect the lady who beca the first woman who took the hold of such a high noble rank and had the strength to beco a great leader. She was one of the greatest and strongest fighters in the world who inspires many won out there to not hold themselves back and do their best to beco sothing more than just a piece of decoration.
However, Haruka was scared to et Valarie as well, since she knows from the rumor that her temper was not sothing to be tested. And considering how Haruka becos clumsy when she gets nervous, made the professor thankful that despite being in the mansion she was busy enough
to not co down and et her.
Seth felt like patting the little child who was fidgeting at her spot because of her nerve-wracking thoughts. He knew many people found his mother scary but never he thanked his mother to be like that until now since watching a scared Haruka was nothing less than a delightful premium show which Seth could continue to watch for days without getting tired of it.
But the urgency of the matter didn't let him enjoy the luxury as he called for the professor.
"So shall we get going?"
