Eon's legacy… it was sothing that he often talked about. It was sothing he considered important and… it wasn't odd that he did. If it wasn't written, if there wasn't anyone to pass on the tale, did it ever exist?

Living as a recluse ant that only whispering of his existence would be passed among the common people and the important figures that did know of him might keep his na on a ledger but that was all. They would take his personal accounts to their graves as they were the only ones that had interacted with him directly.

His legacy… was more than just his story, however. It was also the things he made. The spells he created, the enchantnts he inscribed and the devices that were still being used by the people which he had invented.

So of these things might carry on until inevitably being improved upon with his own as a foundation and there was nothing he could do about that, but sothings were unique to him.

His gear would always remain as sothing unique for example. Because it belonged to him. Because it belonged to him as such a figure. That was a joyful feeling.

Thus, his gear was not to be underestimated. The equipnt that he spent blood sweat and tears into making was not sothing that could be trifled with and was most importantly, at least to him, sothing unique to him.

He slotted the radiant purple crystal into a round inscription near his chest. The runes and inscriptions next to it activated with that sa purple radiance. The space mana then started to circulate its way through every carefully crafted groove and incision to be found on the pitch-black robe.

This in turn made it not so pitch black as the runes glowed a deep bright purple that would at tis haphazardly made it seem as though small particles of space were being released from the robe.

It was beautiful. It was mystical...it was magical… But Eon cared not for this. What he cared about was what wearing such a thing ant.

The jarring sound of shattering glass appeared once more. This ti, with Blurak's whole body being released at once. The shattered space disappeared into nothing and a highly angered Blurak was the only thing left.

The fury was too much for even Blurak. He gnashed his teeth so grindingly that not a single wrathful scream was let out from his mouth. His only thought was to decimate the foe in front of him.

Eon then lifted his wand and the mana responded. At the tip of the branch-like wand, a jet black dot appeared. This dot though small seed to hold imnse power. This much was expected.

The space magic crystal continued to churn out power and the robe circulated as if it were an array to make the spell co to life without any issues. This was the wonder of Eon's masterpiece.

Every single rune that he painstakingly researched made the calculations effortless and squeezed out the most power from every single wisp of mana. It was the ultimate treasure to cast and bend space.

The only downside was that this wearable computer expended too much energy. Compared to casting the spell himself the energy to output ratio was not only bearable but preferable but the main issue was that it was too greedy. The robe was too greedy.

As if life had been breathed into the robe it started to flutter with power and tried to consu it all to the best of its ability. Eon forcefully suppressed the living robe and focused on finishing his spell.

It was at that sa ti that two burly hands tried to grab Eon from both sides. The robe automatically erected a firm barrier causing a clash of magical sparks. In the end, Blurak's hands were not only deflected back but Eon was also able to promptly finish his spell.

"You've cough had your fun" Eon said before releasing the black ball. The giant Blurak tumbled back but while seeing the black hole of seemingly endless depth approaching him it didn't curl up in fear. It instead glared with bloodshot eyes and charged forward.

This was a mistake. W was certain but he could do nothing to stop Blurak in his current body. This body that bore no mana and lacked any physical strength could only watch, he was a spectator.

Blurak was dumb. He was angry. But he was also a boss. His senses seed to have co back to him as the black death that approached him floated heavily towards him. His instincts kicked in and…

The black hole suddenly grew volatile. The dirt and rock, the wind, everything was beginning to be sucked away! Blurak was no different.

"Roooar!" Even the sound of his roar was muffled and barely heard by W who shuddered at the sight.

Blurak's legs was the first to be sucked in. It seed to have dipped into a deep marsh. The leg no longer being able to free itself. So Blurak did what it could.

He fell to the ground and gripped onto the rock floor. His hands dug into them creating deep incisions from which he could grip himself. But to respond to this Eon made only a trifling effort.

The black hole grew in intensity and the sucking force seed to have increased by at least double. It was to the point that W could now also feel the suction power from the distance he stood at. The danger forced him to look away from the battle to turn away and run towards the other end of the boss room.

'That's too broken!' He yelled inwardly as he trudged forward against the powerful attractive power. He would occasionally look back and see that Blurak's situation had taken a grueso turn.

W did not know what triggered it but facing imminent death, Blurak's body reacted accordingly.

His skin writhed and pulsed weirdly. Tendrils seed to shoot out of it regenerating forward. It was as if it was trying to reform Blurak further and further away from the epicenter of the disaster. But with one leg into the hellhole getting another was easy for the black hole.

His foot which had been dug into the ground slipped as the ground behind it was sucked away. In that very instant, Blurak lost so more ground now that the strength of the pull on his body increased.

More silent screaming. Bloody tendrils ford of nerves and muscle continued to shoot out from every inch of Blurak's body but his grip on the ground which had never failed him was bound to fail eventually.

The ground was getting sucked up just as he was so it was only a matter of ti before he lost his hold on it.

With whatever remained of Blurak's face, W saw bloody red eyes fill to the brim with hatred and resentnt. But he also saw the pitifulness of the foolish Blurak.

The bloody monster ford of fleshy regenerating tentacles was sucked into the black hole. Its whole body disappearing without making a single sound. The only lody in the boss room was that of the howling winds.

Finally, the black hole stopped. Though perhaps that was an understatent. Imploded was more accurate.

The small dot expanded wildly all of a sudden before disappearing into simple nothing. W's ears nearly burst from the explosive sound that followed. That alone was enough to cause him to bleed profusely and to have his vision turn blurry.

He couldn't see the gouged out earth in front of the entry tunnel and neither could he see the indifferent expression of Eon as he got rid of what was nothing more than a nuisance.

There was no suspense. An expected swift defeat followed by boundless helplessness.

W fell to his knees. His face held pure shock and he could care not for the constant ringing that continued that masked the sound of Eon's slowly approaching steps.

'I- I can't die!' W wanted to yell out but the voice only appeared in his mind. He didn't know if that was because he could no longer hear anything or if it was because his face was still stuck with that expression of open-mouthed shock.

There should have been no suspense. But why was it then that at one point he felt that he could manage things?

It all started after that dazzling light temporarily blinded his vision and Eon's figure seed to glow excessively fancy using the would-be words of the now-deceased Blurak.

'A- A crystal…' W muttered inwardly after his blurry sight allowed him to see Eon's figure more clearly.

This closer inspection also helped him notice that it wasn't just a crystal. It was the equipnt. The gear that he worked so hard to shore up such as the robe of stars which he mourned for and regretted seed like nothing but scraps and rags found in a dump yard in comparison.

'I- I'm going to die' This was the weird feeling of W, no Ed. In the end, he was Ed. The 18-year-old college student thought he had long since learned what it ant to be part of the real world. But what failed to learn was that life always kept on giving.

In this case, there was simply always soone better. Being Ed he knew his capabilities too well. There was no winning. Regardless of the body, there was no winning. Not while Eon could both defend and attack using a literal black hole.

"Cough, Hah... " Eon's elegant aged figure was finally in front of W. At this point he reached out for the slot where he placed the crystal and removed it. He then returned it to his pocket without a word.

The robe tried to hold onto so of the power and was unwilling to part with the crystal but it was left without a choice. It quietened down and the purple that coursed it shut off without a sound.

All that was left was a winner and a loser. W who had crumbled and Eon who stood in front of him looking down on his figure.

A significant loser. Because although Eon lost next to nothing much Ed might never recover what will be lost.

Eon didn't make idle chatter.. He lifted his wand.
