"Daddy, I hate you." One of the lines that Abigail recently heard and knew that affects her daddy the most.

The little girl has grown up quite much in just six months and can talk properly. Just like her grandmother, she had long curly red hair and a pair of crimson eyes that shone brightly with mischief.

She has heard her mother saying the sa thing and her father fulfilled her request later. That's why the little one was following the sa thod to get her wish fulfilled.

Richard, who was sitting on his beloved lounger while reading a book, humd in response.

Abigail rested her hand on her waist and pouted, "Why doesn't it work?"

Lilia, who was sitting nearby and peeling an apple for her Lord, smiled at the sight as she told her, "You are just six months old, young lady. You can't join the training at such a tender age."

Abigail has already unlocked her flas and has shown great achievent by conjuring fireball and so other basic spells without even needing to chant.

Bellarine was quite excited about it, however, Richard denied her suggestion of letting the girl get trained at this age. Richard said that a child needed to know more about normal childhood. Although Abigail awakened her Aembr quite earlier compared to other kids, it doesn't an she should beco a warrior even before her first birthday.

Bellarine didn't insist after that and soon she realized as well that what her son was saying was true. Alia was also in the agreent so it was decided that Abigail would stay away from any kind of magical training until the age of three.

"But I don't like to play those gas Daddy brought. It's so childish." Abigail complained. And that was true. She finishes any challenge brought to her in nearly a day. And until now, she has yet to find anything as entertaining as magic.

Richard heaved a sigh. Resting the book on his lap he turned towards his daughter.

Abigail visibly beca nervous, seeing that her father had stopped reading...which ant she might have gone too far.

"Co here," Richard spoke as he extended his hand.

Abigail slowly approached him, before Richard collected the girl in his arms and brought her to sit on his lap.

Facing the girl, he told her, "Once you grow up, and realize how bad the world is, you will regret not enjoying these monts. As of now, your Daddy wants nothing more than to return to those days when school howork was used to be the biggest task in hand."

Although he exposes it rarely, it is a fact that Richard is tired of all this preparation for war and thinking of what would happen when they reach there.

As a warrior, one might feel excited about fighting evil and saving their world, but Richard has seen through Zulcriz how ugly a war could be. Richard can end up losing soone close to him, and he wouldn't be able to do anything about that.

Only regrets would remain.

Lilia felt troubled seeing her beloved in such pain, as she held his hand.

Richard gave a soft smile to her, before turning toward Abigail, "I know you are excited, Abi. "But there's a right ti for everything, isn't there?"

The little one nodded her head slowly. Although she likes throwing tantrums once in a while and sotis shows her stubborn side, it isn't like she never listens to her parents. If her father is saying that it is bad, then fighting must be bad.

Richard smiled at his little princess, before telling her, "For now, how about I gift you sothing that will keep you engaged?" Richard snapped his finger and a system screen appeared before Abigail's face.

"Waaaa..what is this, daddy?" Abigail asked, seeing the screen lighting up before her eyes.

[Welco, host.]

[Do you accept the most reliable system in the world?]

Abigail couldn't keep her eyes off the screen, and that made Richard chuckle. She already likes it.

Richard ca to know recently, after a talk with Zulcriz, that the system was given to him to slowly assimilate the power of the darkness. To help him grow and prepare for what he has beco.

And since Richard no longer needed the system to track his progress, he gifted it to his daughter.

Suddenly, Abigail's expression dimd a little, making Richard surprised before he heard her asking,

"What do I do, Daddy? This looks suspicious..."

Richard couldn't stop himself from chuckling. Like father, like daughter. He also suspected the system initially.

"Just accept it. And follow the instructions to get rewards." Naturally, Richard has modified the system to give her an easy task as of now, and the rewards are also quite simple.

As she progresses, the task difficulty would increase as well, and by the age of three, she might no longer need any training at all?

"Good evening." Suddenly, a fourth person walked inside the room, as Abigail turned her head.

"Waah....Bella is so pretty." The little girl hopped off her father's lap and approached her aunt.

Bella picked the little one in her arms before rubbing her cheek against hers, "How was my baby today? Did you miss ?"

The little girl giggled, "Did you bring sothing?"

Bella nodded before she smilingly pulled a small honey candy bar from her back pocket, "Your favorite one."

Abigail's face lit up seeing the candy before she took it and kissed her aunt's cheek, "Thank you, Bella."

Soon, Bella brought her down, and Lilia called out, "Let's go, baby. Daddy needs to go sowhere now."

"Bye, Daddy!" Abigail waved at her father before she followed Lilia while holding her hand.

Richard heaved a sigh as he looked at Bella, "You really are prepared for this, eh?"

"O-Of course, I'd be. I have been waiting for this for quite long now."

Richard grinned, "Okay then let get changed before we leave."

Bella nodded before she saw her brother walking away.

Cupping her heated face, she took a deep breath as a few words slipped through her lips,

'Finally, I am going on a date!!'
