Leo jumped off a building and when he was about to reach the ground and within the reaches of the remaining mutated zombies lingering around the stairs of the tro station, Leo suddenly disappeared as he [Ghost Stride] to appear at the dark staircase, that leads underground.
So he took out a night vision goggles from his [Storage] space and wore it.
"God..not only does this place stinks, it's actually disgusting, like I've arrived in a hell on earth" Leo groaned as he pinched his nose as he carefully made his way down, passing through disgusting piles of human bones with so muscles still around them, causing the disgusting rotting sll lingering around the surroundings, while the floor is covered in blood that already dried up.
His night vision goggles is very different from the usual goggles, as the one he's wearing allows him to see his surroundings, where its just enough for him to recognize the things he's seeing, like a cat would.
And through his [Map], Leo didn't see any life forms throughout the tro, but he has a feeling that this place is hiding a huge secret.
Leo jumped down towards the railway and headed deeper inside the tunnel, as he cautiously looked around the dark and gloomy tunnel.
"Just where the heck does this place leads to?" Leo mumbled to himself, while walking over the pile of bones on the ground, as they burst into fragnts under his foot.
Crack~ Crack~ Crack~
"This" Suddenly, Leo spotted a huge hole up ahead, with disgusting red like veins around the hole, they were so kind of a muscle tissue or sothing.
Leo just stopped at the mouth of the hole as he stared intently towards the darkness that it leads to, that even his goggles can only see a ter of what's in front of him, a clear outlook of just how dark the place that Leo had ventured into.
Leo opened his [Storage] space, and took out a long torch light and turned it on, imdiately illuminating what's in front of him.
"Ohh!" Leo suddenly yelped in surprise when he saw what was in front of him.
"..."
"It was just a normal hole...I thought the walls would be made from flesh or sothing that's beating like heart, like those in the movies" Leo sighed, feeling relieved that it was just a normal looking hole, that leads to an unknown location.
Leo then cautiously strode inside, the hole is fit enough for two people to walk in together so Leo didn't feel stuffy about it.
"Good thing I'm not soone who's afraid of the dark, or else I'd be screaming the hell out of right now" Leo said, as he continued to walk in deeper as he illuminated his path using the torch light in his other hand, with the other one holding a handgun.
A minute later.
Leo could finally see the end of the tunnel, where he could make out a huge space ahead of him through the help of the torch light on his hand.
"W-what the?"
The mont he stepped out of the tunnel, he suddenly stuttered in shock because of what his torch light shined upon.
"Is that a freaking statue!?"
Leo said, as he slowly walked over.
The place he arrived he arrived to is really clean, a huge contrast to what he went through to get here.
There is over two ter size statue standing in the middle of the circular room, the statue was of a woman with a hair that reaches towards her waist, and looks really lifelike which caused Leo to be surprised from earlier, because he thought that there was soone in the room, when even his [Map] weren't showing anything.
But when he got a clearer look of it, he saw that it was just statue made from so kind of a rock or stone mineral, and there's also the floating question marks floating above its head.
[???]
But the statue is sothing he's familiar with
"Octopi Race" he muttered under his breath.
"Huh? There's so writings here"
But when he wanted to have a clearer look at the statue, he noticed so writings engraved at the pedestal below the statue.
"Gaia S-statue!" Leo stumbled back in disbelief
"W-what the heck!? What the aning of this!?" Leo eyes almost bulged out in shocked when he saw that the na of the unknown statue was finally revealed!
Then he finally noticed that the na of the small statue on his hand changed which brought another huge wave of shock throughout his very being!

"S-system! W-what's the aning of this!?" Leo yelled in anger and disbelief!
"System! Answer !"
He kept shouting like a maniac for a good while, but the [System] never answered him back, like it had just disappeared from existence.
"Does that an that all of the things I've known so far about them are all lies?" Leo laughed helplessly as he leaned on his back, with the statue behind him.
"But what about the alien that I killed before? Its na was certainly [Octopi Scout]" Leo mumbled, as he rembered his encounter with the first of their kind.
He kept thinking and rewinding all of the information he had gotten about the two race so far...but then from out of nowhere, a sudden realization struck him, which imdiately sent a shiver down to his very existence, because of what he thought just now is certainly horrifying!
'W-what if the [System] is actually a monitoring device that was planted in my mind by the Oct- I an Gaia Race?' he thought in horror, but made sure his current thinking wasn't connected to the [System], and he did it by temporarily cutting off their connection in his mind.
'But that still doesn't explain why I can take out things that would clearly hinder their plans for Earth, right?'
'W-what if..what if the only survivor from Octopi Race and soone from the Gaia Race are actually fighting for control on [System]? And this is the reason why its not responding to my queries anymore?'
'But the question is? Who put the [System] inside ? The Gaia's or the lone Octopi? Who truly is the real enemy between them?
'Or maybe both and that both of them are also enemies of mankind!?'
