A week has already passed since Leo had discovered the location of that evolved intelligent zombie called Dark Seeker.
During those days, the Dark Seeker had also realized that he had been discovered for a long ti now through the eyes and ears of the zombies under his command and in panic, it imdiately retreated back to London City but instead of holing up itself over there.
It instead brought with it a horde of zombies, numbering up to over half a million and with the additional fifty thousand of zombies that survived the clean up from Leo's n.
Which boosted their numbers, a little over six hundred thousand, a little over five thousand of those are mutated zombies from varying kinds while the rest are all just ordinary zombies.
And this horde of over half a million of zombies, started marching towards Cambridge City and they would soon arrive at the city in one day or two days tops.
On the other hand, Leo who imdiately discovered them through his [Map] imdiately halted all operations at the base here and had all available personnel to imdiately prepare traps outside of the wall.
Leo had ordered them to comnce work on the construction, they built pitfall traps with wooden stakes facing above, Abatis facing the opposite direction of the wall and another ten stationary machine gun was deployed along the wall.
Every direction of the wall was heavily fortified. After all, there aren't any huge buildings around their base that could be used as another point of attack but everything was just... plain flat lands so a heavy fortification was required.
Leo had also brought Robert and his n from Northwich because Leo wanted to see how they would fare against this zombie horde.
Even though Robert is a mutant, he wasn't given any preferential treatnt like those forr soldiers of Colonel Russell, because every single one of them faced a demotion of one rank except the Colonel, Captain Reeds and his team while those rebels that surrendered before suffered the most, as all of them suffered a huge demotion to Corporal.
On the other hand, Robert was given a Staff Sergeant Rank and his forr n who followed him either beca Private Second Class or Private First Class.
Leo did this because he wanted to beco fair to his non-mutant soldiers and at the sa ti, Leo made sure the mutants that would join their ranks was given a proper explanation of why they are assigned into a lower rank instead of one that is higher, and the explanation they received was, because they have mutated abilities, mutants tend to have more contributions during team missions or other missions that they are required to join and because of that, they tend to get promoted faster than those non-mutants soldiers so it wouldn't really be a problem for them to get to their desired rank as long as they work hard on successfully completing and surviving the missions.
It was like the mutants are players in the ga while Leo is the video ga developer where he nerfs them to prevent unfair treatnts to others.
All in all, it is a win-win situation to both parties so no one really protested about it.
Leo might arrogant and perverted sotis but he wasn't a stupid person as he at least had an IQ score of one hundred twenty points and he was also skilled in administration or running an organization like his mother.
And while his mother might be the one running everything around the survivor bases, Leo also made sure to check everything, regarding things that needed to be implented into this base or that base so as to prevent loopholes in the administration that might backfire towards them.
And the arrival of this horde couldn't be any better for Leo, because he would earn a lot of Defender Coins from this and he made an estimate of around two hundred and three hundred thousand if he and his n gains victory over this horde and at the sa ti, Leo also can't help but look forward to the items that he would get if he successfully kills that Dark Seeker.
Leo only made one transfer of soldiers from another base and they are Robert and his forr companions and didn't really bother in transferring more soldiers here and instead, he instead increased their firepower by transferring multiple tanks directly from the Stronghold and he even deployed artillery cannons within the base here and he was only able to do all this because of the forr soldiers of Colonel Russell, because there are soldiers among them who specialized in using artillery, there are also three army doctors with them and even air n or pilots are among them.
And lastly, Leo had brought over Shade and another two lioness here and Kitty was also moved here as her presence back at the Stronghold is not needed anymore and with the Pride of Lions replacing her lazy job and so, she was moved here at the frontline instead.
Leo had also prayed that lady luck would be with them as he hoped that it would be very cloudy on the day of the battle as he really wants to summon his Death Knight, Shadow, into battle as it would certainly provide a huge help if it enters the fray.
And now, it's just a waiting ga as all preparations would soon be completed before the day ends.
It was already dusk as the sun slowly sets in the distant horizon.
Leo who is standing on top of the wall with other soldiers with him, as they looked into the remaining zombies of the city, who are slowly gathering up and forming a small horde of over fifty thousand.
Then Alex appeared beside him, Leo turned his head towards him and asked, "Is everything ready?"
"Yes sir" Alex replied with a nod.
Leo then nodded as he slowly raised his right hand above his head and then swiped it down while he yelled, "FIRE!"
*BOOM!* BOOM!* BOOM!* BOOM!* BOOM!*
Five Artillery and twenty Main Battle Tanks fired at the sa ti causing ear piercing sounds as multiple projectiles flew towards the horde!
*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*
All shots accurately landed on the horde, as blood, gore and bone fragnts splattered at every direction!
That was only the first wave but it already killed almost thirty percent of the horde.
*BOOM!* BOOM!* BOOM!* BOOM!* BOOM!*
And the second wave of artillery fire ca as it rained down above the horde like the reaper of death!
*KABOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*
Leo who was watching everything from on top of the wall showed a satisfied smile on his face.

"Idiot, did you really think I'd let you group up with your zombies here?" Leo sneered in a mumble.
'Are you angry? You're angry, right!? Mwahaha!' Leo laughed as mini Leo appeared in his mind with a mocking look on its face!
"I wonder what its face would look like after he sees that his horde of zombies here are already scattered or obliterated?"
"F*cking a**hole acting like its more superior to us, humans"
Leo laughed in disdain and the soldiers around him had stiff smile on their faces as they are really confused about why their Commander is laughing like a madman right now.
'It's only now do I know that there are actually people who becos happy and excited after killing these zombies' so of them thought in their minds as they once again learned sothing about their leader again and that is,

If only Leo knows what his n's impressions about him are, then he would probably beco enraged and give these jerks a severe military punishnt of one thousand push ups, twenty laps around the survivor base here and five thousand squats!
