When Leo finally reached the end of the tunnel, what greeted him was spacious and dimly lit bare room with a thirty ters of space between its end and with absolutely nothing inside!
Not even a single furniture, absolutely nothing!
But there was soone standing in the middle of the room. It was that guy that Leo is looking for but there was no fear on his face even though his pursuer found him. It wasn't soone who was prepared to fight but instead soone who is smiling at him with a mocking look plastered on his face.
"Who are you?" Leo said coldly as saw that the question marks above that person's head is still there.
"You don't need to know who I am. All you need to know is that you shouldn't get in out way or...you will bear the consequences of your actions and I'm pretty sure you won't be able to afford it" the man grinned at Leo maliciously.
"Hahaha! Really now?" Leo felt like he just heard the funniest joke ever and then he pulled out his sword from his back, replacing the rifle on his hands.
"Then I'd like to see how you'll make suffer those consequences!"
Leo stomped the ground beneath his feet and charge towards him! His charge was so fast that it created a small shockwave!
BOOM!
"Die, you bastard!" Leo had malicious glint in his eyes as he executed an overhead slash towards the man's head!
But the guy imdiately dodged Leo's attack by jumping ten ters at the side!
But Leo wasn't finish! He imdiately executed his [Ghost Step] and appeared behind his opponent!
Then Leo with his helt missing, opened his mouth and yelled coldly, "Die! [Primal Roar]!"
His opponent wasn't able to dodge in ti as the man wasn't expecting Leo to suddenly appear behind him after that powerful sword attack!
So the attack directly hit him head on, sending him flying at the other side of the room as he crashed on the rocky wall, sending debris and dust everywhere!
Even though Leo can't see what happened to man due to the dust acting as a smoke screen. He sure hell knows that man is still alive as Leo still hasn't heard the system notifying him of his kill.
Leo just gripped his sword tightly as he stared vigilantly at where the man landed, ready to attack at the monts notice.
Seconds passed and when the dust finally cleared off. Leo saw the man lying motionlessly on the ground.
The man kept acting like a dead person as seconds tick by and not knowing that Leo already knows that he's still alive.
When a minute passed, Leo finally grew impatient so he said coldly to the man, "Stop your act already. I know that you're still alive. Don't even think that you would be able to fool "
Then he saw the man opening his eyes as he slowly stood up from the ground as he dusted off his clothes while laughing, "Hahaha! I didn't think you're really this good! I underestimated you but you know what?" the man stopped talking and sothing disgusting happened. Three sothing like white spikes started protruding out of his arms, two appeared near his wrist then another at the back of his hand, looking like the kekkei genkai Shikotsumyaku from the Naruto series.
The three were as long as a regular longsword!
"The heck, did you just ca out of the ani Naruto?" Leo couldn't help but blurt it out, the mont he saw the scene.
The man just stared at Leo with a really huge grin on his face then the man blurred as he suddenly disappeared from his position and imdiately appeared in front of Leo with his bone spikes just a few inches away from Leo's head while yelling...
"Because this place is going to be your graveyard!"
But Leo wasn't even fazed in the least as he was already expecting that his opponent is gonna be tough and even though Leo had faith in the defense of his Armor but he wasn't soone who loves getting hit in the head like masochist so he hastily put his sword in front of him to block the attack.
BANG!
The power behind that attack was so powerful that Leo was force to slid backwards for a good fifteen ters. Leo felt his arms going numbed as his sword vibrated from the impact and he also realized that if he received that attack with his physique alone and without his Armor then he would've suffer so minor internal injuries by now or maybe even worse!
"That.. your reflexes are really good and that Armor of yours...where did you get it?" the man asked as he was confused because he didn't see any information about Leo's Armor from the intelligence that was provided to him.
Leo didn't bother answering him and just dashed towards his opponent with the greatsword at his side.
[Ghost Step]
Leo suddenly appeared in front of his opponent and with his body bent forward with his sword behind him like he was samurai preparing a fast sword draw!
"Just freaking die already bastard!"
*Woosh!"
Leo executed a horizontal slash towards his opponent as his sword cut the air like tofu and just when his attack was about to land on his opponent waist but a shadow suddenly appeared on the trajectory of his sword causing sparks to fly!
It was the bone spikes!
And surprisingly their hardness is almost equal to Leo's greatsword as it didn't leave a scratch on it!
"Don't think that you can kill just by swinging your sword!" the man said those words through gritted teeth as sweat started rolling down his face as he wasn't expecting Leo to be this powerful already and troubleso at the sa ti.
Leo just snorted and pulled his sword back and leapt backwards to create a distance between them.
"You really have tough bones in there" Leo grinned coldly as he didn't even bother wearing his helt anymore as he already had a good estimate of the strength of his opponent and he concluded that he was stronger than him!
'Hmmp! Acting all mysterious when you're even weaker than ! Let's see how you can keep up with that act of yours!' Leo thought in disdain!
'Dammit! I can't keep this up for long or this bastard would soon figured out that I was actually weaker than him! I need to escape from here and report it to the higher ups that there is soone who could be threat to our objectives!' this unknown man thought of multiple escape plans in his head but all the end result would be his death!
'There's only one option left' the man thought as he glance at the wall on the corner of his eyes and behind that wall is a hidden room that would act as an ergency exit and shelter for him in case sothing bad happens.
' I didn't think that there would be a ti that I would be cornered like this and by an aboriginal species at that!' the man thought in anger as he gripped his fist, feeling like he was just humiliated today!
'But I need to make this man attack towards the direction of the hidden then all I need to to do is act like he just flying. Hmmp! By then, no matter how fast you are, you won't be able to catch or even kill !' the man thought laughingly, feeling like his plan was flawless!
'What an a**hole, he's probably thinking on how to escape from again' Leo thought as he noticed the man's eyes looking around the room.
Then from out of nowhere, the man started dashing towards him with large strides and this ti his other hand also has bone spikes coming out of his arms!
'Sothing is fishy about this' Leo thought as he knew this guy wasn't this slow so he just stood there and waited for him to reach him and wants to see what this guy is planning to do by doing sothing as stupid as this!
But when he was near Leo, there was no surprise,unexpected twist at the situation or much less a trap! He just attacked Leo like a boxer throwing a straight punch but with bone spikes on top!
So both of them started exchanging blows after blows for a few seconds and if a normal person saw this scene happening right now then he probably be so shock because he won't be even able to follow their movents or even the trajectory of their attacks!
Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!
"What do you plan to achieve by attacking like this?" Leo said with annoyance as he blocked an attack from his left but another attack was also heading towards him from his right! So he moved his head backwards as the bones spikes passed just a few inches away from his face and out of nowhere, he suddenly let go of his sword as it disappeared out of thin air!
Then he suddenly spun as he executed a spinning back kick and his assault landed on his opponent's abdon when he was still daze from when Leo's sword just disappeared out of thin air in front of him!
He wanted to dodge it but he was a second too late!
And the guy at least spurted a mouthful of saliva before he got sent flying again and crashed into the sa pit that he crashed into earlier!
"Fool, don't even think that my sword is my only weapon" Leo said as he slowly put his foot down on the ground.
