To Leo, the fight wasn't easy at all that even though he is already strong to even take a tank head on and has a high vitality. He still suffered minor injuries like bruises and cuts to heavy injuries like a couple of broken ribs, a broken left arm and the most nasty of all is probably the long gash on his back that stretches from his right shoulder across his left hip that is even showing so of his bones from his spine but he also gained a lot from this battle. His level was raised by two and he gained a lot of items and a mountain of at!
Leo just sat there on top of the corpse and let his body heal by itself and at the sa ti waiting for his n to arrive. Of course, Leo could've just consu a potion to rapidly heal all of his injuries but he refrained from doing so for the ti being as he wants to know how fast his current body would recover without the help of potions.

Leo grinned widely when he heard the confirmation in his mind before closing the system prompt in front of him.
After that, Leo finally direction his attention in front of where a group are fidgeting while standing before him.
Leo grinned coldly at them, he slowly stood up and carefully slid down from on top of the carcass. He then slowly walked towards Rose and every step he took was like a hamr pounding at their hearts.
Every single one of them are sweating bullets from nervousness, mostly because of the savage aura that Leo unconsciously exudes after every arduous battle, especially when his face continually keeps twitching from the pain he is feeling from his wounds which made it even worse!

Then suddenly, Leo got startled as he wasn't expecting for the little girl to open her arms towards him when he got closed from her.
Because he wasn't expecting this gesture from her, Leo just subconsciously reached out to her and took her from Rose's hands onto his arms.
"Are you alright?" Leo look at the little girl in his arms and asked worriedly but at the sa ti, he was also shocked that this kid wasn't even scared at the grueso sight she just saw and the one before her and instead, he saw so longing in her eyes.
It was sothing he was very familiar with as he would also see those longing in the eyes of every survivor that he had t and those he had taken in or those already living within his camp.

"Co on, let's go!" Charlie was the first to take off and the rest imdiately followed suit except for Rose.
"Wait! What about the beasts carcass!?" Rose suddenly shouted from behind.

"Such a waste" Rose had an unwilling look on her face as it's been a really long ti since she had eaten a fresh at, especially if it's the at of a mutant beast which made her really think of how it would taste like compared to the ats of dosticated pigs before the apocalypse.

A few monts later, Leo along with the girlie in his arms finally exited the wide but lush forest, where he was greeted by a huge convoy of vehicles that just arrived with ard n hastily disembarking from it.
And not a second later, Charlie and his group also arrived and the first thing that they noticed was the ard group in front of them which made their legs jelly as they can't help but stagger backwards. Rose even fell on her butt as all of them wasn't expecting that they would be greeted by a huge group of ard n the mont they walked out of that hell of a forest!
'What the heck is going on! Are they here to rob us!?' all of them are literally screaming in their minds.
Because all of them knew that even though they already evolve or mutated and already has the strength beyond the capabilities of a normal human.
They are still aware that they won't be able to outrun a bullet!
Especially if these hundred of ard n shoots at them at the sa ti!
While Charlie and the others are absorbed into their own thoughts. Austin was also looking at the little thing in Leo's arms with an incredulous face.
'This...is this the reason why he just suddenly disappeared to rescue this little girl? Is she his daughter?'
