Gri opened the door slowly and walked in, making sure he didn’t trip any alarm this ti around. He was sure that he had already turned off the digital alarms thanks to the item he had used on the door to unlock it, but non-digital alarms would be difficult.

He quickly walked in knowing sowhat of what to expect. There would be a large man and a smaller man in the hall that he would encounter around here.

When he walked in, he saw that the large man was looking at sothing on his bright screen. Gri noticed that he wasn’t aware of his arrival and quickly pulled out a gun to shoot him.

He shot Sol in the head before Sol could even figure out what had happened. Sol fell down the chair making a rather large sound as plates and stuff went flying around.

Gri grimaced at the sound and quickly hid in the shadows, looking for the younger man that had killed him earlier.

Before he figured it out, he saw the man peering into the hall from past the wall. He quickly looked around, and before Gri could shoot him, he looked away.

Gri patiently waited for the man to put his head out from behind the wall again, only for him to see a flash of red light that zipped around the room in an instant, curving to strike him down instantly.

The plasma shot pierced into his skull, killing him instantly.

He flashed back.

Gri appeared at the sa location outside the door where he had set up his return point before. He stood there for a few seconds, taking deep breaths as the feeling of flashing back was impossible to get used to.

He took a mont and set up a point in ti to flash back to again. He could only ever set one of these at one ti and when it was gone, he would have to set it up again.

As such, he always had one active, and so he set it up once again.

"I flashed back twice in such a short ti," he thought. "How many more tis can I do this?"

He wasn’t sure. He had never flashed back more than 3 tis in the span of his 24 hours.

He placed the device on the door, opening it once more. Knowing that there was no trap to trigger, he slowly made it to the hall once again.

There, he found Sol looking at his bright screen. He took caution at that point and shot him in the head again.

This ti, however, he quickly ran over and grabbed the heavy Sol from falling down loudly. He leaned him forward against the table where he wouldn’t slip from.

Once done, he went to find the man he had seen before. He knew what direction the man was going to co from, so he went to a door in that direction. He slowly opened it and saw Fred sleeping inside.

Without waiting, he shot the man in his sleep and went over to another door. He opened the door to the next one and saw a corpse in there.

The girl there was dead, her arms spread in all directions. ’Skimmy must’ve killed her,’ Gri thought and went for another room elsewhere.

There were a few too many empty rooms, that surprised him. He also couldn’t tell where his colleague had stuck around and wasn’t coming to him.

He opened another door and saw a blue-haired girl inside with her computer, staring at a picture of four people, of which the younger two had bright blue hair.

She quickly closed the image. "You should knock before you op—"

Gri shook his head and shot the girl.

The plasma hit the head but bounced off of a yellow shield that was around her, hitting the wall on the side.

Nova was caught off guard. She quickly turned around and saw that the person who had opened her door wasn’t soone she knew.

Without hesitation, she pulled on the tal wires that wrapped around her left arm and tossed it in Gri’s direction.

Gri couldn’t even do anything before he died once more.

He flashed back at the location outside the door, stumbling back onto the icy floor as he felt the pain of the threads of wires all striking him at the sa ti.

He clutched onto his chest, controlling the feeling of vomiting as he flashed back once more.

He took a few deep breaths, realizing that he had flashed back 3 tis in just a single hour. He could tell that his soul energy was already low. He had one more flashback in him most likely, If he died once more after that, death would beco permanent for him.

He thought of turning away. Leaving this place right away, but he didn’t. Instead, he decided to get so help from his colleague to deal with the one that had just killed him.

He took a big breath, set up another point in ti to return to, and walked in. He quickly killed Sol again and went to Fred’s room to kill him as well.

Vera was already dead, so he didn’t go to her room at all. As for Nova’s room, he would leave it up to the other girl.

He walked away in order to find her, going in the opposite direction. As he walked, he saw a large hole in one of the walls in this direction that led outside.

He was a little confused as to why the hole was there when soone jumped down from the hole and ca face to face with him.

Stanley looked at the man in front of him with a weird look on his face. "Who are you?" he asked with a frown.

Gri took out his gun and shot Stanley, which Stanley easily dodged.

"Enemy got it," Stanley said, cracking his knuckles as he got ready to fight. "Don’t worry, I won’t be killing you. I just want so answers."
