Stanley and Gray were on a quick flight from Freenox City to Yardin City.

Stanley hadn’t really gotten any chance to roam the capital of Barson as he was forced to train and wait for Reena to do her job.

9 days had gone by like that and they were finally notified by Reena that they could go to her. So, on the first flight that morning, they were being taken to Yardin city by soone in the Freenox branch of the association.

"Are you nervous?" Gray asked Stanley, both of whom were seated at the back of the car.

"A little," Stanley said. "I’ve learned what I can, but one can never tell what can go wrong in a fight, can they?"

"True," Gray said. "But I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Your powers are strong enough that any adversity you co across can be easily bridged by them."

Stanley nodded.

Gray tried his best to get Stanley not to be nervous, but that was a hard task. It was his first mission in a world that he was only just starting to sowhat understand.

They arrived at Yardin City and were quickly taken over to a temporary safe house that Reena had created for herself.

The shutters of the room were all closed, with a machine running that made it appear like a normal house with regular beds and furniture to people from the outside that would be looking in.

She let the two n rest for a few minutes while she prepared so things to show them.

Stanley looked at the girl and asked, "You left without even letting us know you were going to go. Why?"

"I was in a hurry," she said. "I needed to co here as soon as I can. Why?"

"Nothing. I was just wondering why you wanted to co here alone and not with or Gray. It could’ve been dangerous in your scouting mission, your know? What if you were captured or worse, killed," Stanley said.

Reena chuckled a bit. "Why would I get killed?" she asked.

"Umm... because you are scouting our targets? What if they see you?" He asked.

"Oh," Reena realized. "You think I’m like Sheila, don’t you?"

"Uhh... you’re a scout, so yeah?" he said.

"I am a scout, but not all scouts have the sa thod, you know?" she said. "We all work differently, in a way that fits us."

"Sheila can conceal herself, so she is usually in more danger. Ulia is the sa as her power works on touch," Reena explained. " on the other hand am very much safer than them. I go nowhere near the enemies, so I can gather information without having to worry about being caught."

"Oh," Stanley was surprised. "What are your powers? I don’t think I know that."

"I’m not too keen on answering that, so let us skip over it, okay?" she asked.

"Okay," Stanley said.

She focused on the things that she had to do and a few minutes later, she called Gray over as well.

"Sit down. I’ll share with you what I’ve learned," she said as a hologram appeared in front of her, showing the image of their target.

"David Hansog, a 33-year-old arms dealer, born in the northern region of Barson. He’s been a petty thief and criminal his whole life, but for the past decade, he’s entered the business of dealing arms."

"We do not know who his supplier is, only that he is the middleman," she explained. "Our mission is to find out exactly where he is getting his supply from and who is trying to buy it. And for that, we’ll have to capture him alive."

"You are free to kill if capturing alive becos a problem," she said. "His power is not a strong one. From what I’ve gathered, he has strong lungs and can thus store and blow out a strong amount of wind."

"It’s barely any stronger than a leaf blower, so you shouldn’t have any problem. What you will most likely have a problem with are his four guards."

The picture changed, showing a few buff n, each holding a big gun on their arm. Reena went on to explain their powers, 3 of which sounded not very useful, with the fourth one being of so danger.

There were also other people here who all worked for the man, but they were not the main ones. "We only need to kill these 4 and capture the last one alive," she said.

Stanley spoke up. "Do we... have to kill them?" he asked.

Reena looked at him for a mont before pulling up another file.

"The first guard has a warrant out for killing 7 people in a restaurant, 2 of which were a young mother and a 5-year-old daughter. They were there to celebrate their father’s cancer recovery."

"The second guard has been known to be a sex trafficker, who has benefited from young won being kidnapped and forced to beco a prostitute."

"The third guard killed his own parents before fleeing his country, killing many officers along the way."

"The fourth one used to be a mber of a drug cartel that had its hands on every conceivable vile thing you can think of. When the cartel was busted, he managed to run away and find work here."

"If you don’t want to kill them, then it’s fine by . But know that in doing so, you are going to leave such heinous criminals alive who will only go on to do more evil because you didn’t have the guts to kill them."

Stanley remained wide-eyed for a while before he got angry. "I’m sorry," he said. "No, these people aren’t humans. Carry on."

Gray smiled looking at the interaction.

"So, we will have a small window to get them. Every other night, he goes to a local bar where he spends a few hours inside, most likely making deals with so clients. I tried checking in on one, but I couldn’t find him. The club was way too large for to find him easily."

"Our ti will co when he returns back to his place with so different girl every night. After he enters, he spends so ti with the girl. Our ti of attack is then when he is most vulnerable."

"Ugh, you had to see that?" Gray asked Reena.

"I’ve seen worse," she said, but she couldn’t hide her disgusted look. She pointed to the ti. "We must start at exactly 11:30. That is our best ti to attack."

Stanley looked at all the information and was a little confused. "Wait, why are we not attacking him on the streets? In his own place, he will have security and defenses and so many other people."

"On the street, however, he is with only his four guards. If we attack there, we will have to go through less trouble, don’t we?" he asked.

The ti when he went to the club was a fine ti to attack him. The ti when he returned, a little tipsy was even better.

Stanley found it hard to understand why they had to wait.

"First, we cannot reveal our existence," she said. "The AAA is a concept that criminals cannot know. The mont they know, our work ends up becoming much harder."

"As such, we cannot fight in the open, where people can see us."

"Secondly, fighting in such an open space is a very large civilian threat. It is highly likely that the attack will turn into a fight, and in a fight on the outside, there is a heavy chance of civilians getting caught and hurt."

"We cannot let that happen."

"And if the civilians are hurt, you end up with another criminal offense," Gray said. "At that point, say goodbye to all the Repentence points you’ve gathered throughout the years."

"Oh... I see," Stanley said. "We must attack their hideout so they don’t hurt others. Got it."

Reena nodded. "This is all you need to know. You can look over the information once again. Tonight, you’ll begin your mission."

Stanley nodded and reviewed the information on David and his gang again.

Stanley waited patiently and maybe a little nervously for the night to fall. Once it fell, it was ti for them to leave.

He dressed in his battle suit, the dark stretchy clothes that helped him hide in the night. Unlike others, he wore a crossed strap on his chest that also crossed his back.

On the cross at the back was a large tal box that magnetized when it felt Stanley’s sword co close to it. There, Stanley attached his sword to his back and walked out with Gray.

Reena was in his ears, giving the updates.

"I’ve sent the governnt what our plan is. We should get approval soon enough
