Chapter 722: Upgrading The Legion

Jason knew that he would get an earful from Gina when he gets out of here. It was technically Jason’s fault that he passed out and allowed Hesabeth to capture him like this, after all! But Jason couldn’t be prouder of her for using this ti so well. Jason had also not been sitting idly while waiting for the one-week ti period to pass. Over the past three days, Jason had been training both his Resonance and his Arcane Art. The newest Arcane Art ability that Jason got from Gillian was sothing that opened up his imagination to an entirely new set of possibilities! Having extra hands that could help you in battle was very useful, and it was even more useful now that Jason could also call on the Shadow Soldiers in his [Land of Lost Shadows] and use them as shadow-based assassins in the real world.

Jason had taken a region of the garden, and he used that as his training ground to try and master the [Hands of Providence], and even though he still wasn’t as good as Gillian in using the arms, he was certain that he could now use them in a battle without them getting in the way.

"Mmmh~"

A soft moan ca from Jason’s right side, and Jason glanced to the side to look at Hesabeth’s sleeping face. Hesabeth was wearing another thin silk gown that was similar to what she had been putting on to sleep for the past few days, and Jason just let out a sigh as Hesabeth smiled while shifting comfortably into his shoulder. Jason didn’t know why, but rather than sleeping with the pillow that was right beside her, Hesabeth had decided that she would rather stay on Jason’s shoulder to sleep. The first ti Hesabeth had done it was two days ago, after she helped Jason train his [Hands of Providence]. Hesabeth had been absolutely exhausted, and the mont she put her head on his shoulder, she had fallen straight asleep. So Jason had left her there since she wasn’t really bothering him at all. But after that day, Hesabeth had made it so sort of ritual to always ignore her pillow and use his shoulder instead.

Hesabeth shifted as she pressed her breasts into Jason’s side softly, and her breath tickled the side of Jason’s face as she slept, and Jason just ignored her presence as he shifted his attention to his system. A lot of n would have already lost their self-control in the face of such obvious advances from a woman as beautiful as Hesabeth. But Jason had gone through far sexier situations with Gina before they even started dating! There was even a ti when Gina had literally slept shirtless in Jason’s room once! So sothing like this was like child’s play to him.

[Would the user like to convert [100,000,000] Kill Points to Upgrade Points? (Yes/No)]

Jason humd as he chose yes from the system and watched as the kill points began to shift over to upgrade points. Over the past few days, Jason had gained a lot of Kill Points from the battles he had been in. Not only did Jason fight and kill multiple Machina during the battle on their world, but Jason also fought and killed many monsters when he was fighting against the world itself. And even though Jason felt a bit of irritation at the fact that his Alter Ego hadn’t resurrected all the Machina he killed, Jason was still glad that he had gotten the Kill Points from those battles.

’And most of my subordinates reached their max Hierarchy percentage as well. I think every subordinate in the Rook Class and above reached the necessary hierarchy progression.’

Jason grinned as he scrolled through the tabs that showed the hierarchy progression for all his subordinates. There were only about ten rooks that didn’t reach the hierarchy progression, and that was only because they had been killed during the battles, and they weren’t able to resurrect quickly enough to fight more of the Machina. But the stronger Rooks, as well as the Bishops, had all reached the necessary Hierarchy progression. Jason had about five hundred million Kill Points from all the battles, but he knew that once he was done upgrading all his subordinates, those kill points would vanish quicker than they ca!

[The user has successfully converted [100,000,000] Kill Points to [1,000,000] Upgrade Points.]

Jason humd as he began to look over all the subordinates that he was going to upgrade. In truth, Jason wasn’t going to be using all one million upgrade points right now, but he was definitely going to need them very soon. The first group Jason wanted to upgrade were the rooks. Jason now had more Rooks than even Pawns, and he wanted to transfer so of those numbers to the Bishops class so he could get up to fifty bishops. But first, Jason wanted to upgrade the highest-ranking subordinates in his Legion. The Bishops Rank I and II’s.

[Would the user like to transfer upgrade Points to the selected subordinates? (Yes/No)]

Jason chose yes, and he watched as the points shifted to the subordinates.

——

Jason felt an intense surge of energy flowing through his body imdiately after he finished the upgrade, and he grinned as he enjoyed the extra energy gained from his subordinates’ growth. But Jason glanced over at his system to see his stats, and he frowned when he saw that he barely gained a 5% increase in all his stats, even after improving his subordinates so much. Well, Jason couldn’t really complain. He was already a TITAN Rank III, and most of the subordinates that he increased were only SSS Rank or TITAN Rank I’s. It really wouldn’t make much of a difference at all since they were so weak. As things were now, Jason knew he wouldn’t see much improvent at all, even after resurrecting hundreds of SSS Ranks or thousands of SS Ranks, since he was so strong. So Jason knew that he would have to focus on taking stronger subordinates in the future if he wanted to see serious improvents. The only reason Jason got this much of a boost at all was because of the Bishop Rank III’s and the Knight Rank Beast of the Apocalypse.

’Right, I need to co up with a new na for that Beast. Saying Beast of the Apocalypse all the ti is a real mouthful.’

Jason frowned as he brought up the beast’s tab, and he humd while trying to think of a na for it.
