Kyle's eyes were darting between different Karmic Lines.

They were vanishing!

They were all vanishing!

While Kyle was looking at the Karmic Lines, something monumental happened in the Main Dimension.

A storm of dark lightning appeared on the western edge of the world, rapidly expanding and moving toward the east. The storm was a mix of Wind, Lightning, and Darkness Energies.

BANG!

In a single moment, a lush forest with weak beasts, animals, and plants was turned into a wasteland. The Wind Energy spread the Lightning and Darkness Energies toward the east. The lightning bolts struck every inch of space, and whenever they struck something alive, the Darkness Energy followed the Lightning Energy.

A tree was struck. The Lightning Energy spread through it, leaving Darkness Energy behind. An instant later, the tree turned into lifeless ash.

The storm grew and changed shape until it was just a single line going from the northern edge of the world to the southern edge. Then, it moved towards the east.

From a global perspective, the storm moved quite slowly. Most likely, it would take an entire day to travel across the world.

Yet, from a normal person's perspective, this storm was unimaginably fast. It was moving at speeds exceeding 100 million kilometers per second.

A father was watching his daughter leave for a neighboring town to visit a family friend. The father suddenly remembered that he had forgotten to tell her that he loved her before she left. He thought about shouting after her, but she was already 20 meters away. Was this little sentence worth the public attention he would draw with his shout?

Then, there was only ash and dust.

A Transcendent was battling the wild monster that had been encroaching on his home. If he couldn't kill this thing in this battle, all the people he knew would die! He threw caution to the wind and decided to risk his life in a suicidal attack.

Then, there was only ash and dust.

A wide river was flowing down a mountain, which was covered with trees. This river had existed for millions of years. Different forms of wildlife had been living in the river's vicinity for an eternity.

The river continued flowing as if nothing had happened. It was just a bit darker due to all of the ash and dust that fell into it. The mountain was no longer covered in trees. Now, there was just earth and stone.

One of Humanity's Headquarters noticed that it had lost connection with one of the bases to the west. Several Sages and Spirit Lords left and charged towards the west.

The Sages didn't even know what happened. Most of the Spirit Lords also died immediately.

The storm reached the Headquarters, and the Overlord stationed in it noticed the approaching storm. They activated the defenses and sounded the highest alarm.

The storm reached the Headquarters, and countless lightning strikes attacked the Barrier Formation Array.

BOOOOM!

Then, one extremely powerful lightning strike hit the Barrier Formation Array, breaking it in an instant. The Overlord panicked and fled eastward as an unending barrage of lightning bolts hit them.

Luckily, they were powerful enough to resist the lightning bolts.

They warned all of Humanity before narrowing their eyes and charging into the storm. They had to find out what was going on!

Moments later, the Overlord passed through the storm. When they looked upon the world, their eyes widened in horror.

There was no life!

Nothing!

No humans, animals, beasts, trees, plants, insects, seeds, nothing!

BANG!

A black spike of Immortal Metal shot out of the ground at impossible speeds. The Overlord didn't even notice the spike before it impaled their Center and mind. An instant later, the spike detonated into a fiery explosion.

All the belongings of the Overlord appeared in the Main Dimension and fell to the ground. Since they were not alive, they didn't need to be destroyed.

The storm kept spreading towards the east. Anyone and anything that tried to resist the storm would be struck by a focused lightning bolt. Anyone fleeing towards the east would survive, assuming they were fast enough. Anyone passing through the storm would be impaled by spikes of Immortal Metal. Anyone who tried to pass the storm by digging into the ground would be attacked by spikes. Anyone who tried to fly over the storm would be turned to ash by Immortal Fire.

"I think I know what Swamp Dragon was warning us about," Kyle said as he watched his Karmic Lines vanishing. "I think the Overseer found out about the Minor Law of Death."

Sebastian's eyes shot open in realization and horror. Then, didn't that mean...?

"All of my Karmic Lines are vanishing," Kyle said.

All Karmic Lines were vanishing...

The two of them couldn't sense the Main Dimension right now, but they couldn't imagine how chaotic it had to be right now.

"Then, everything's over?" Sebastian asked.

"I don't know," Kyle answered. "Maybe not. Maybe the world has some kind of failsafe."

As Kyle kept watching the Karmic Lines, the storm continued spreading towards the east.

After several hours, the storm had reached the frontlines. All of the surviving Advanced Spirit Lords and stronger were fleeing towards the east, running from the storm. They didn't know what to do. They could only run.

When the storm passed through the frontlines, it destroyed all of the deposing Demon corpses. For the first time in millions of years, the ground beneath the corpse mountains saw sunlight again.

For just a tiny moment, humanity saw flora and fauna it had never seen before. The area below the corpse mountains was unique, and unique life had formed.

Yet, life was still life, and all life was destroyed by the storm.

As the humans fled across the Divide, the water beneath them vibrated chaotically. In the depths of the Divide, storms of Immortal Water dispersed every last bit of life.

The humans and the storm reached the Abyss. The root network sounded an alarm as it was destroyed by the storm. Some of the Demons attacked the surviving humans, while others fled towards the east.

At some point, all the fighting between the two sides ended. The survivors were all fleeing towards the east.

For the first time in history, Humanity saw the true depths of the Abyss. Sadly, there was no point. The Abyss would suffer the same fate as Humanity.

Today, there was no difference between humans and Demons. Both sides were equally helpless in front of the storm.

Thousands of Ascendants and Ascendant Demons gathered on the eastern edge of the world. There was nowhere to run. Together, they would try to survive the storm.

The storm approached, and then...

It stopped.

It stopped just in front of them.

Sadly, what the survivors didn't see was that only the small part of the storm in front of them had stopped. The other parts hit the World Wall and dispersed.

For just a moment, the survivors believed that they had truly survived.

Unfortunately, the storm they thought was dying was just gathering its strength. There were Late and Peak Ascendant Demons there. The Overseer was powerful, but they still needed to focus to kill so many powerful Demons.

Since they didn't need to focus on the remainder of the world anymore...

BOOOOOOM!

A storm made of all the Immortal Elements hit the group.

All survivors were turned into ash within a moment.

The storm continued until it also hit the eastern World Wall.

And then...

There was silence.

Unending silence.

Profound stillness.

Nothing.
