Maddison truly hated Sunny, so Azrael wasn't going to put Maddison in a situation like that unless he really had to.

That was only going to be a last resort.

Azrael decided instead that he was going to talk to Sunny himself.

And since Azrael was certain that there was a high chance Sunny would refuse him, Azrael needed a plan of action.

Sunny always went to the gym after class, and Azrael humd as he felt a plan forming in his mind.

Classes that day ended without any further incident. The next few days were going to be daemon studies and combat training, and the entire class felt a wave of despair in their hearts as they realized that they were going to be facing off against the hellish training from Scar once more.

The last week was only the first ti they experienced Scar's training, and it already left a damning realization in all their minds.

They weren't going to get through this year if they didn't start putting in extra work.

Over the past week, the entire A Class had more than doubled their ti in the gym in order to try and make themselves ready for the upcoming training.

They had finally seen the gap that was present between them and the top scorers, and they saw that they were seriously falling behind.

But even with this sudden seriousness, the teachers still knew that many students would drop out before the year was over.

In Divine Academy, close to three hundred students graduate from middle school and move to high school; only about two hundred students actually bother to co to high school after they figure out what their Divine potential is. Those with low Divine Potentials mostly end up in the police academy and other law enforcent.

By the ti the second year cos around, the number of students would have reduced by half, leaving only about a hundred students in the entire year.

And in their final year, only an average of thirty students would graduate in order to beco Divine Enforcers.

That is one of the reasons why being a Divine Enforcer was such a prestigious position.

It shows that you were capable of going through the hellish training from the school and you didn't give up till the very end.

When the bell rang, students imdiately made their way out of the class and started to head for the gym.

Azrael got off his seat and grabbed his things quickly to head out.

Jane Ashton was busy handling the class register and putting things in order at the teacher's desk, and Azrael went to the front of the class and asked her if she needed any help.

"Don't bother trying. You'll probably just slow down anyway."

This was always Jane's answer when Azrael tried to offer his help, and Azrael already expected sothing like this from her, so he didn't even let it bother him.

Azrael simply slipped out of the class with the rest of the students.

Azrael knew that Jane wanted to be the captain, so she was going to start acting like she was the one in charge and trying to reduce his influence.

If the captaincy was sothing that Azrael really gave a damn about, then maybe it would have bothered him.

But Azrael didn't mind her doing everything since he never asked for it in the first place.

As far as Azrael was concerned, it was a win-win for both of them.

In front of B class, Azrael saw Sunny standing with Rachael.

Sunny leaned down and whispered sothing into Rachael's ear, and Rachael giggled excitedly while blushing.

Rachael waved to him and started to leave, and Sunny kept his eyes on her until she turned the corner.

When Sunny turned back around, Azrael saw that he had a bored look in his eyes, and Azrael recalled that Sunny always had this look whenever he was getting tired of his latest girlfriend.

It seed Rachael wasn't going to last much longer.

Azrael followed behind Sunny as he headed for the gym, and when Sunny went to put on his gym clothes, Azrael approached.

"Sunny…"

Azrael spoke confidently, and he watched the confusion filter across Sunny's face for a mont as Sunny turned to regard him.

Azrael wasn't surprised that Sunny was confused. This was the first ti ever that Azrael would be approaching Sunny like this.

"Azzie boy. And here I thought you swore an oath of silence against or sothing. What the hell are you talking to for?"

Sunny shut the locker and turned to Azrael with a condescending look, and Azrael ran through the words he had practiced earlier in his head before he finally spoke.

"I thought about what you asked before."

Sunny raised a brow.

"And what would that be?"

"The party you're hosting. You're right; I won't be able to et the sort of people there anywhere else. And it's a good opportunity to form connections, so I changed my mind and decided to co."

There was a beat of silence between the two boys as they just stared at each other. The other students in the room were busy talking loudly, so most of them weren't paying any attention to Sunny and Azrael, but the boys all turned to look at the pair when they heard a loud laugh echo through the room.

"Hahahaha~! What the hell are you talking about? Y-You want to form connections? Oh, fucking hell, Azzie. You really should've been a codian or sothing. You'd kill it in stand-up. You… making connections? Hahaha!"

Azrael waited as patiently as possible for Sunny to co down from his fit of laughter.

But Azrael saw Sunny's eyes suddenly darken, and he braced himself as Sunny took a step forward and spoke to him in a low, angry whisper.

"Who the fuck do you think you are, you little shit? You thought I was going to let you into my party? You, the reject that doesn't even have a single penny to his na? You're nothing, Azzie. The dirt on my porch would be scandalized if they were stepped on by you.

"The only reason I invited you was because I wanted you to bring her. I always planned on sending you ho once I got my hands on her. Did you really think I would allow you in? Don't be fucking stupid."

Sunny pulled back with a wide smile on his face as he grabbed his gym bag and water bottle. Sunny then spoke up again.

"But hey, my offer for the money is still open. If you're down to make a little bit of cash, then you can co talk to . You'll be a modern-day pimp. Hahaha."

Sunny turned to leave, but Azrael stopped him before he could go.

"Alright then, how about we fight for it?"

Sunny turned around with a frown, and the entire room went quiet as they listened curiously.

"What the hell do you an by that?"

Azrael walked up to him and stared him in the eye.

"Exactly what I said. You want her there, don't you? Then put your hands up and fight for it like a man. One round in the arena, you and . If you win, then I'll make sure Maddison cos to your party, no questions asked. But if I win, then you allow us both to co."
