"This abundance of Divine Essence is believed to be the reason why daemons are being created at such a rapid pace. There have been instances where the mortal plane had an abundance of Divine Essence concentrated in one place, and that led to the birth of daemons, but we can't say for sure that it was the reason because of how rare those have been."

Scar kicked off the table and landed on the ground in front of the class before he started walking around calmly while still talking.

"So. inside the Null Zone, the level of daemons is completely different from what they are in the mortal plane. Daemons have been known to possess nearly twice as much power as they do in the mortal plane inside the Null Zone due to the abundance of Divine Essence. But the sa can also be said for Demigods. A demigod will be able to access their god aspect more freely, and they will also have a better grasp on how to use it in the Null Zone. And now the question is this: if the demigods are so much more powerful inside the Null Zone, why don't we just send all fully trained demigods inside to fight against daemons?"

Scar stopped beside Henry's table, and he looked down at the bulky boy for a mont before smacking him on the head with his novel. Henry's eyes snapped open, and he sat up imdiately with a frown to confront whoever had hit him, but once Henry saw that it was the teacher, he imdiately cald down and looked down at his desk again.

Scar clicked his tongue before he started to walk around once more.

"We have actually done an experint once where a fresh group of Divine Enforcers were all sent into the Null Zone. This was back when our knowledge of that world was minimal and we didn't have any way to gauge what would happen. We thought the boost in strength would be enough to keep them going for a long ti, but unfortunately, nearly all of them ended up getting killed less than thirty minutes after entering the Null Zone. The only ones who survived and returned spoke about monsters and beasts beyond their wildest nightmares. Creatures that lived in the Null Zone and didn't bother to co into the mortal plane like the daemons. These larger creatures were far stronger than an Ascended daemon, and the Divine Enforcers didn't stand a chance when they faced them.

"But the monsters would not have been enough to kill the Divine Enforcers if they had all been working together inside the Null Zone. When the Divine Enforcers crossed through the veil, the spatial function present in the veil ensured that none of them appeared in the sa region. All the Enforcers were spread across various areas of the Null Zone, and they all had to fight individual battles in their efforts to co back ho."

Scar stopped in front of Azrael's seat, and Azrael looked up from the hologram on the table to glance at the teacher. Scar released a small laugh before he turned and began to walk back to the front of the class while talking.

"So all you lovers that are thinking of going into the Null Zone together to create your own romantic story can forget about that."

Snickers ca from so of the students in the class who thought Scar had just made a regular joke, but Azrael narrowed his eyes in irritation as he knew that Scar had been talking to him. It seed that Francesca had told the other teachers in the school about him and Maddison.

Well, it wasn't like Azrael didn't know that she would tell them, but it was just going to be irritating to have to deal with the attention from now on. Azrael looked back at the hologram in front of him as he rembered Maddison's offer from earlier today. She wanted to train with him for so reason.

Azrael had never had a training partner before, so it was a little surprising when she asked him to train all of a sudden, but Azrael couldn't say that he hated the idea. Having another person to test your abilities on was invaluable, and if it was soone who actually knew what they were doing, then it would be even better. Azrael decided that he would agree to one training session and see how it went from there.

Scar's voice broke into Azrael's thoughts and brought his attention back to the front.

"Our inability to control our movent through the veil is the reason why the Divine Enforcers set a minimum rank for both Mortal body and God Aspect in order for a demigod to go into the Null Zone. Unfortunately, humanity has still not been able to create a safe area inside the Null Zone where we can stay without fear of being attacked by the daemons, but there have been nurous demigods who have made their way deep into the Null Zone over the past few years, and it wouldn't be surprising if they have managed to create their own territories in a deeper part of the Null Zone. Perhaps as you travel into that world in the future, you will be lucky enough to run into them."

Scar waved his book at the hologram again, and this ti it changed to show a distorted image of empty space. The image seed to ripple like water, and there was a strange aura surrounding it.

"And now, let's talk about the Veil. The mysterious entity that transports creatures to and from the Null Zone. The veil is still mostly a mystery even now. There has been no recorded knowledge of where it ca from, who created it, or what purpose it was created to serve. As of now, all we know about the veil is the fact that it exists as a global entity, covering most of the world, and also that there are so parts of the world where the veil is at its weakest. It is in these parts where the daemons appear in random intervals.

"The veil doesn't only exist in the mortal plane, it also exists in the Null Zone. So when a demigod moves from the mortal plane into the Null Zone, they are transported into the first level of the Null Zone, known as the Alpha Zone. From the Alpha Zone, a demigod will need to travel deeper toward the edge of that zone before they can then travel through the veil once more and appear in the second level of the Null Zone, known as the Beta Zone. No one actually knows how deep the Null Zone is, but the deepest a demigod has ever been known to travel was to the fourth level, known as the Delta Zone. This was done by a man nad Jas Rickard, and before Azrael here gained one as well, he was the only man to ever achieve a Divine Potential Rank of EX."

Azrael blinked in surprise as most of the students in the class turned around to look at him.

Jas Rickard was soone everyone in the world knew about. He was an exceptionally talented man who beca the strongest demigod in the world less than a year after graduating from Divine Academy. By the ti Jas Rickard vanished into the veil five years ago, he had an EX Rank both in his Mortal body and in his God Aspect. The first demigod to ever attain such a level.

Jas Rickard was a legend to most humans, and to the demigods, he was an unattainable goal that they always strived to reach.
