Dawang, “…” I don’t know you!
Old Lady Lin was in a dilemma. She held up the cane and beat her son, stifling her heartache towards his pain, “Still making excuses! So many excuses!” She had heard her son and her daughter-in-law whispering that night! The cane was definitely hitting her son, but it felt like the strikes were brought down on her own back.
Lin Leshui knew that his mother must know sothing. Looking at his elder brother and sisters-in-law, they probably knew it too, right? If so, then there was no way to argue his way out of this. But…but the fact remained that Hehua didn’t know about the report at all. It was her mother who asked a cousin of her sister-in-law to do it! Lin Leshui really didn’t dare to talk back any further. If he tried to argue again, he wholeheartedly believed that his twin sisters would beat him up together.
His Third Sister’s beatings really hurt ever since they were children.
