Lin Lan didn’t eat much, so she ate the remaining tomatoes and cucumbers to snack on sothing. Then, she told Han Qingsong, “Dawang wants to skip a grade.”
Han Qingsong drank so water and rinsed his mouth, “Are his results good?”
Lin Lan, “…they’re not bad,” 1st grade was fine for him and 2nd grade would probably be a bit tough. Even so, Lin Lan didn’t have the ans to tell him that his son wanted to skip till the 4th grade.
Han Qingsong, “He is older than the other kids, so he’s probably feeling a bit shy to be studying 1st grade level material together with his younger siblings.”
Lin Lan, “He wants to transfer to the 4th grade.”
Han Qingsong, “…how ambitious of him.”
Although Lin Lan also pretty much felt the sa, she didn’t want Han Qingsong to talk about Dawang like this. So, she said, “To be fair, there isn’t anything crucial that he needs to learn as of now. For his age, he’s quite mature, so I don’t think it’s wrong for him to be learning more advanced stuff while he doesn’t object to listen to it,” Before this, she even said that she was going to treat Dawang a bit coldly, but in the end, she was the one who was automatically finding reasons to validate his emotions.
Hearing what she said, Han Qingsong said, “Then, we can let his teacher give him an examination. If he passes, we’ll let him skip grades,” Han Qingsong was soone who liked to have his feet on the ground in a stable position. If his son was able to do well and adjust in the new grade, he should be able to do as he pleased.
Lin Lan nodded.
Just when Han Qingsong was about to head to the old lady’s place, he asked Lin Lan if she wanted to go with him.
Lin Lan smiled and said, “You can go ahead— let know about it after you guys discuss.”
Han Qingsong nodded, but didn’t make his move to leave imdiately. Instead, he rely looked at her.
Taking the opportunity, Lin Lan reached over and gave him a peck on the lips. When she was about to pull back from the kiss, she found herself restrained and unable to move. Pulled into a long-lasting kiss, she felt like her lung capacity had greatly improved compared to what it was before.
She licked her lips and said, “Hurry up and go.”
Han Qingsong turned his head and looked outside, “Who is at the door? Co in.”
Lin Lan turned around and saw Han Qinghua walking in.
He smiled and said, “Third Brother, sister-in-law, I didn’t an to disturb you,” His words ant that he had definitely seen what was going on.
Lin Lan imdiately took the bowls and chopsticks back inside the house.
Han Qingsong glanced at Han Qinghua, “I’m just about to go over,” He said to Lin Lan, “Since it’s not raining today, you can just leave the table here. I’ll move it when I co ho later,” He knew that Lin Lan preferred to read a book in the courtyard while listening to the radio.
Han Qinghua smiled and said, “Sister-in-law, let’s go together. It’s boring to be alone at ho, anyway.”
Lin Lan smiled and said, “It’s okay, I’m happy just reading my book.”
Han Qinghua glanced at the radio with an unchanged expression, “Sister-in-law, co with us, my parents are waiting. Eldest Brother has already gone to call my Eldest Sister-in-law.”
Han Qingsong looked at Lin Lan.
