Lin Lan was also wondering about the sa thing. After the children went to school, she thought about it at ho and felt that she had to make so preparations. She placed sticks, wooden fork spades, etc. in places where she could grab ahold of them in the house and yard. This way, she could protect herself if Han Qinghua ever tried to do anything.
Then, she began to take apart and wash the bedding and clothes. There were five or six beddings in the house. Plus, the family’s cotton-padded jackets would be washed, dried and re-sewn in turn.
At this ti, Eldest Sister-in-law Han ca over, carrying a pile of freshly picked persimmons with a dustpan, “Brother, sister, look at these foreign persimmons. They have gotten so ripe in one day, so I got you so.”
