Liu Xiuyun began to crumple the corner of her clothes desperately, “I-I, I had a stomach ache today, so I also ca to the hospital to check it out.”
Liu Xiuyun was not good at lying. Not being able to make up a better excuse, she settled with this one.
Lin Lan asked with concern, “Is your stomach still hurting? We ca here on bicycle, do you need us to get you a lift ho?”
Liu Xiuyun quickly shook her head, “N-no, there’s no need.”
