Chapter 62: Jennifer the hacker
Jennifer, after hearing the news, thought it was a perfect opportunity to impress him with her skills. She imdiately said,

a top expert in this hacking field."
Jack looked at Jennifer, who was eager to help,

Alice ordered her people to be readily available for action anyti after they traced the call.
Alice invited Jack to the room filled with high-level computer setups for this kind of work.
Jennifer took the phone from Jack and connected it to her system. She started to trace the phone number that had just called him. She imdiately located them and thought these were so low-budget criminals who couldn’t even afford to use a burner phone when making a threat like this.
But Max thought this was a small job. Who would have thought it directly involved the central police agency? It was their bad luck that, at that ti, Jack was in the agency with Alice and had a computer expert readily nearby. So Max was traced within two minutes, before he could switch off Lucy’s phone.
Jennifer not only traced his location but also locked the other devices active in that location. She slowly started to hack every device there. Even Max and Vanessa had their phones hacked.
She collected everything in a short ti and looked at Jack.
"I have already hacked the mobiles of everyone in that location and left malware inside their devices. We can use the proof left in their mobiles and deal with them easily after we rescue that person. We can also monitor their further activities with this."
Jack looked at Jennifer, who had finished her work very fast and efficiently. He thought to himself, finally another useful mber has been included in the family.
"Good work, Jennifer. Alice, imdiately order your team. We must rescue Lucy safely and securely."
Alice assembled everyone on her team and started the rescue operation.
Jack joined them in their vehicle and went with them.
anwhile, Max looked at the rich woman and asked,
"Madam, the other side didn’t say anything. He just heard everything I said and ended the call.
What should we do next?"
Vanessa also felt sothing was wrong with the situation and thought about the words Lucy had said.
The person was so kind of big shot. But there was no way Olivia knew any powerful people like that, because she had always been under her watch. Even when she went away to study dicine,
she was under her watch and thoroughly investigated by her during that ti. Because she was the only threat to her son’s future. Even though she was not considered a threat, Vanessa was the type who never gave an opportunity to anyone, especially her enemies.

Lucy felt a chill run down her spine and thought, what a terrifying woman. No wonder Olivia was played by her like a puppet.
This woman was very dangerous. She prayed in her heart that Jack would co to her rescue soon. She looked at Vanessa and said,
"I already gave you the information you want, so don’t make unnecessary threats against ."
Seeing Lucy still acting fearless in front of her, Vanessa gave her another slap on the face.
"Bitch, don’t talk unnecessary things. Imprint this in your mind: until Olivia is found, you will not be going anywhere."
Vanessa thought to herself that she had already had soone from Max’s side follow this nurse when she finished her work and returned ho. Through that, she had already found out that Olivia was not staying in Lucy’s house.
Previously, she was 90 percent sure that Olivia was staying in Lucy’s house.
But the result of the investigation was disappointing.
What she didn’t know was that this was the fault of a lazy newbie who was ordered by Max to do the work.
After Lucy got off the bus, she would first visit the old apartnt where she and Jack first lived and then go to Emily’s house.
Because her full luggage and everything in her previous house were stored there, she would get the items needed there first and then go to Emily’s house.
But that lazy newbie followed her, and after she entered the house, he imdiately left the area and reported that it was her living place. The next day, Max called so people and infiltrated Jack’s rental apartnt and found out there was no trace of Olivia there. They finally ca to that conclusion and inford Vanessa.
Max stood nearby, seeing that the woman had started using violence.
"Madam, calm yourself down. I can handle this matter neatly for you, but you should stop using unnecessary violence. You know our gang’s thods."
After hearing the warning, Vanessa restrained herself sowhat and gave him an annoyed look.
"You do not know the pain of a long-term plan you made failing suddenly at the last minute."
She sighed in her heart. But in her mind, there was an uneasy feeling after that call was made, and Lucy’s words continued to ring in her mind.
But she couldn’t pinpoint where this feeling ca from. It’s better to be cautious. She had been sowhat reckless and directly involved in the kidnapping.
She should have just waited outside.
"You just keep her here. Don’t call the number again for now, and change this location tomorrow."
After giving so instructions, she didn’t wait further. She went outside, started her car, and imdiately left the place. Only after she left the place for so distance did she feel sowhat relieved.
After a few minutes, inside the abandoned factory, Max looked at Lucy, who was sitting in the chair silently with her cheeks swollen from the two heavy slaps, thinking about sothing.
"Don’t worry. After that person answers the phone and after we get a satisfactory answer, you will be safe.

While Max was trying to get more information,
suddenly, the siren sound of police vehicles was heard around the building.
