Why did they not attack each other?

When the others heard Aya’s words, their bodies turned tense.

They knew very well that there were several teams that went ahead from them into the building and it was not strange for them to see each other here.

But when they were about to see each other, they felt nervous.

Because they knew very well that they might compete with each other.

In the tense atmosphere, the five of them walked forward and reached a big open area. There were many people there with them standing in a small group.

When they saw these people coming, they only looked one before turning their heads away.

Looking from their clothes, Aya noticed that there was another group from Wansu City but they were not close to each other. When people are not familiar with each other, it would be better for them to stay by themselves and not get too close with others.

"9 teams," Evan said, his tone solemn.

There were nearly 40 people in this area, which ant that if they were to fight against each other, it would definitely turn into a tragic battle.

Aya said nothing and looked at the center of the stage. There was a big stone that looked like a pillar with a flat stone on top of it. There was a number written on top of it. And the number was counting down with each second passing by.

She understood that everyone was waiting.

There was nothing else in this place for the ti being, so the only thing they could do was to wait.

"Recover your mana quickly," Aya said.

"Yes."

The others also noticed the number that was counting down, so they didn’t hesitate and sat down to diate. Everyone didn’t know what they would face, so they would not recklessly attack others either. Anyway, when the ti was up, they would know what it is.

In this way, ti passed quietly.

Everyone was waiting.

Waiting for the ti to reach 0.

When there was only 100 seconds left, Aya reminded others to wake up and be prepared.

At this ti, the number of teams had increased to 14 teams.

Looking at so many teams who gathered here, Aya’s expression was solemn.

She didn’t expect that there would be so many teams gathered in this place. Moreover, there were two other teams from Wansu City. The others were teams from other cities including the Central Magic City.

’How many people are attracted to this building?’

The city heads would not send all the talented younger generation to the secret realm. After all, they also knew that the secret realm contained danger and if they were not careful enough, they might end up losing their lives here.

These children were the future of their cities.

So they could only bring a limited number of people to co here and try their luck.

But Aya didn’t expect that there would still be so many teams who chose to enter deep into the valley and were courageous enough to enter the building. She had noticed that there were ghosts in the labyrinth and those were rank 1 ghosts.

Unless they were ghost masters, there was basically no hope for other children to survive under these ghosts.

So it ant that there were actually more teams who entered the building but failed to reach this place.

Aya also didn’t know if there were more of these places in other directions. After all, she had no chance and no interest to check all direction of that labyrinth.

Beep!

The screen changed and turned into 57/20.

"57 of 20... what’s that?" Dean looked stupid.

When Aya saw that, she was stunned and then said, "Evan, rank 4 protection magic spell."

Right after Aya said that, Evan chanted, "I’m the ssenger of the wind. Floating by the wind and heed by the call of nature. There are enemies coming, compress the wind into my protection, circular wind wall!"

Whoosh!

Wind ford protection around the five of them and what followed was the sound of yelling and screaming outside.

Through looking at the number, Aya could see that the number of people had decreased at rapid speed.

55/20, 51/20. 47/20, 46/20, 43/20...

And it was still decreasing.

"This is the number of people in this place?" Yun’s face also changed when she realized what those number an.

"Dean, you stay close to Yun," Evan said and then looked at Leon. "Leon, you will trap anyone who co closer and Aya, you deal with those who want to attack us."

"Got it."

The rank 4 magic spells would not last for a long ti and Evan himself would not waste so much mana. He used this chance when they were still inside to drink a mana potion and when the wind wall was gone, the number of people had decreased to 37/20.

17 more people had to die.

"No!"

One of them scread and tried to run back to the entrance, avoiding the attack from the other magic warrior.

Bang!

But when he reached the entrance, instead of going out, he seed to have hit an invisible wall.

The man’s face changed but he failed to react in ti and the magic warrior who followed him imdiately attacked.

The next mont, he was smashed to death.

Bang!

Seeing the chaos and then saw that a group of magic warriors rushed towards them, Leon quickly activated his magic spell.

"Shadow bind!"

These magic warriors who ca closer halted their footsteps.

Aya saw the number on the screen and simply ca behind them and then wind elent blades ford on her hand.

Slash! Slash! Slash!

Three magic warriors died instantly.

Dean was still standing in front of Yun, protecting the girl behind him. On the other hand, Evan used his crystal magic and pierced the last person.

Thud!

Afterwards, in the battle at other place, another person also fell and the number on the stone screen changed.

20/20
