Vance still used his crystal eyes and he was holding a mana potion, ready to drink it after his mana reached the point where the mana potion could perfectly replenish it. This was one of the few thods that he had developed over the years because his crystal eyes required a lot of mana.
Aya was following from the side, watching over the other teams.
Her crystal eyes actually noticed that there were a total of 10 teams in the valley in various different directions. These people should have arrived recently and started to look for resources here.

"You can only drink a small cup," Aya replied. "After that, it won’t be effective anymore unless you made it into so special potion that can help to raise your mana limit."
Speaking about potion to increase mana limit... she has already given a lot of potions to the others. By now, their own mana had increased considerably but they were still only at rank 3 and could use so simple rank 3 magic spells.
But if they were to compare against others who were a few years older than them and still at rank 3, they might be lacking in terms of magic variety.
Plus so combat experience.
After all, there were things that could only be gained through ti and not easily achieved.
