Aya went to the basent and saw that there was a group of people being held together. When she saw the situation, Aya’s eyes condensed and a faint killing intent flashed before it was being suppressed once more.

This building was the base for the fifth elder and the basent was the place to hold people captive and interrogate them.

Normally speaking, if they were not criminals and didn’t do anything wrong, the interrogation wouldn’t be that severe and more like routine questioning. After all, they wouldn’t want to make enemies out of these magic warriors.

But Aya was wrong.

The sll of blood in this place was really strong. Coupled with other various types of slls, Aya could guess what had happened here before.

Her eyes landed on the group of people from the Black Family who were suppressed.

Aya had to restrain herself from making a move.

Because she knew that if she were to make a move, she would implicate these people from the Black Family.

Does the Fourth Head of the Wansu City not know about this?

These people would definitely rebels and protest if they were faced with such a situation. Which magic warrior would willingly bow their heads and faced such a treatnt from the city?

They had worked hard for the city for a long ti but what awaited them was this treatnt?

Aya was silent.

Hiding beside the wall, Aya looked at this scene and took a deep breath before walking out again.

Before she could go out of the building, she saw Silas coming in. Silas’s expression was bad and he was facing a man who should be the fifth elder’s subordinate.

"These people from the Black Family are not rank 7. Once you have confird it, I don’t think there’s any need to let them stay here, is there?" Silas asked, his tone was a bit stern.

The man shrugged. "It’s not my call to let them stay here but the Fifth Elder. You know that I can’t possibly disobey his order."

"Let them co out. The Patriarch is ready to bring people out by force if you still don’t let them out."

The man’s expression changed when he heard this.

"You dare to threaten us?"

"When people from other families are questioned, you don’t dare to use harsh thods but when it cos to the Black Family, you use this thod. Do you think that we have no temper at all?" Silas asked back, his tone was cold.

The difference in treatnt during the interrogation for the people from the Black Family and the people from other families were very clear.

This made Silas’s heart turn cold.

He knew that people disliked them, but he didn’t expect that the elder who held such an important position would also treat his family this way.

If it was his turn...

Would they also treat him like this?

Silas felt that it was very likely, which made him feel really unbearable.

"This..." the man frowned.

"Patriarch is already waiting, you should know what to do," Silas said and then turned around, no longer wanting to hear their reasoning.

To be honest, Silas didn’t want to be the one to confront these people at all. Because he knew very well that it might make the situation worse. But the Black Family Patriarch had given him direct order, telling him to let the people from the Black Family be released.

And it seed that the Black Family Patriarch’s patience was also getting thinner.

But this also told Silas that the matter of the rank 7 magic warrior was really important.

No matter who it was, the Fourth Head of the Wansu City had to find this person at all cost, even if it ant involving many people in this matter and turmoil.

Aya watched as Silas left.

She was still shrouded in the darkness, using the dark concealnt magic to hide her presence.

From the way it looked like, Silas was unable to sense her presence when she used this magic. In the past, he was still able to detect her presence because the two of them were at the sa rank.

But now Aya has reached rank 7.

She was no longer the sa as how she used to be.

’He’s angry.’

Looking at Silas’s expression, Aya knew that her teacher was really angry at this matter. The targeting towards the Black Family mbers from the Fourth Head of the Wansu City was getting more and more outrageous. And even if it was not the Fourth Head of the Wansu City’s direct doing, the elders under him were the one who did it.

There was no way the Fourth Head of the Wansu City could escape from the relationship.

Aya looked at the building for a mont and her finger trembled. With her rank 7 black magic, she could co and go through this building without anyone noticing her. The magic allowed her to blend and hide without anyone able to notice her.

If she truly wanted to, she could destroy this place.

But...

Should she?

If she were to do that, she would be making connections with the Black Family. It was the sa as saying that there was a rank 7 magic warrior in the Black Family.

The already difficult Black Family might fall even further in Wansu City.

Aya sighed deeply and walked out.

As much as she wanted to help, violences was not the answer for all matters. Sotis, if she were to use violences, it would only make things worse here.

This was caused by her but Aya couldn’t do anything.

Should she show herself sowhere?

It would also put a risk on her being found but as long as she had the teleportation formation ready, she could escape at any ti she wanted to.

’That’s not impossible...’

But when Aya thought about this, she pursed her lips.

A mage or magic warriors should have been selfish. Because they learned magic in order to learn about nature and also to prolong their own lives.
