Knock knock. Ji Fengmian’s cold voice sounded. “What are you doing in the washroom in the middle of the night?”
The smiles on their faces disappeared and Shen Fanxing gestured for Xu Qingzhi to keep quiet. Xu Qingzhi nodded before opening the door.
Xu Qingzhi hurriedly hugged Ji Fengmian. “Aunt Mian ~”
Ji Fengmian recognized Xu Qingzhi the mont he opened the door and allowed her to carry him.
“When did you arrive?”
Xu Qingzhi smiled and said, “I just arrived not long ago. I was supposed to attend Fanxing’s engagent party, but Fanxing left at the party. I’m a pregnant woman and her best friend, yet she treated like this…”
Ji Fengmian pushed her away and looked down at her stomach. “Since you’re pregnant, don’t be so noisy! Since you’re here, stay! Pregnant won are not allowed to stay up late. Go wash up and sleep!”

Seeing Ji Fengmian leave, Xu Qingzhi winked at Shen Fanxing and said, “Pregnant won are not allowed to stay up late! Hurry up and find a guest room! I want to recuperate.”
Shen Fanxing glanced at her and asked, “Why didn’t you pester to sleep with you today?”
Xu Qingzhi blinked. “Of course… it’s inconvenient,” she said as she touched her stomach.
Shen Fanxing smiled and found a guest room for her on the second floor. After saying goodnight, she returned to her bedroom.
With every step, no, every heartbeat, every second, Shen Fanxing felt as though she was stepping on cotton candy. It was sweet and blissful, as though she was living in an illusory dream.
Her hand had been pressed on her heart, and the frequency of her heartbeat was almost jumping out of her chest.
When she reached out to open the door, she was wondering how she should tell Bo Jinchuan the news and how he would react.
She couldn’t imagine if he was happy or regretful.
He was happy that they finally had a baby. It was a pity that he had to live an abstinent life for a long ti.
Shen Fanxing couldn’t help but smile at the thought of his face turning pale from the lack of benefits.
When the door opened, the smile on her face froze. She sensed that sothing was amiss in the room. Before she could react, a tall and dark night pressed down on her.
Almost instantly, she was wrapped in soone’s embrace.
The first thing she did was to grab the collar of the man’s shirt tightly. A refreshing scent entered her nose. However, she was still shocked by the sudden appearance of this “foreign object”. She raised her head and stared at the man who was much taller than her.

Her gaze subconsciously landed on his injured shoulder. She pursed her lips and her eyes welled up. She was still touched by the man’s efforts.
But he had only been in the hospital for three days and he had already recovered…

He swallowed her voice and her grip on his shirt tightened.
Bo Jinchuan slowed down his movents and strength as he kissed her lips gently.

Bo Jinchuan’s low and hoarse voice sounded between their breaths. Shen Fanxing’s eyelashes fluttered as she recalled how he had let her go so easily at the engagent party. He had even hidden the fact that he was injured from her. Her feelings were complicated.
Her rationality told her that he was doing this for her own good. She should be content. Otherwise, she would be unreasonable.
