Du Wei handed a piece of parchnt to Lynn while introducing it.

"Based on our exploration, this mausoleum is most likely a divine resting place, and its history is very ancient, possibly dating back hundreds of thousands of years."

Through Du Wei’s explanation, Lynn gradually matched the details of this divine mausoleum with certain specific details in the original novel.

The incomplete inscription etched on the parchnt showed three unpronounceable cuneiform symbols. When Lynn touched them, a burning pain shot through his fingertips, while others felt nothing.

To this, Lynn didn’t make a fuss, but silently returned the parchnt to Du Wei.

"Is this the special sensation granted by the Prisoner of Destiny?"

Lynn speculated.

Soon, after passing through a narrow and cramped passage, the group finally reached the entrance of the Helius Mausoleum.

The cave entrance was a perfect circle, with edges smooth as a mirror, definitely not sothing that could be carved by human hands.

Embedded in the stone wall were countless dark purple crystals the size of fists. Under the glow of their torches, it seed like sothing was faintly visible inside the crystals.

Lynn stepped forward and discovered that the interior of the crystal was not pure and transparent but filled with murky flocculent matter that wriggled slowly with the changes in light, like so embryonic creature in slumber.

"These crystals mustn’t be touched. The first batch of grave diggers who discovered the Helius Mausoleum—one reckless individual tried to chisel out a piece as a souvenir."

Du Wei hastily warned.

"As soon as his chisel touched the surface, he collapsed like a drained husk. In less than three seconds, there was nothing left but skin draped over bones."

Lynn, naturally, wasn’t foolish enough to touch them directly. He simply observed silently before calmly stating, "These are ’Soul Prisms,’ and anyone who touches them will have their soul forcibly extracted and imprisoned within."

The owner of this mausoleum had an astonishing background, far beyond what a demon like King of Cruelty Kushustan could compare to.

"Is that so?"

Hearing Lynn’s explanation, Du Wei shivered in shock, and his regard for Lynn grew even more.

After all, considering how young this lad was, if he didn’t have sothing special about him, why would Her Highness the Imperial Princess bring him on such a critical mission?

Moreover, through brief interactions, Du Wei could sense that Her Highness the Princess held Lynn in unusually high regard.

"Moving ahead, we will officially enter the Helius Mausoleum."

At this mont, Hillena spoke up.

"It’s hard to imagine what such a heaven-defying being the owner of this mausoleum was during their lifeti. Even after countless years, the residual divinity and rules within the mausoleum still restrict exploration from the outside."

Hillena expressed sincerely, her gaze eting Lynn’s, seemingly probing how deeply he understood the mausoleum, as it would directly affect the success or failure of this mission.

"A supre divine entity transcending the river of ti, whose true na has long been erased by ages, leaving only the immortal majesty floating amidst this land."

Lynn said lightly.

This was a description from the original text.

"This is the Shielding Helt crafted by Yorick, which, when worn, can shield against the divine power tide within the mausoleum."

Subsequently, Du Wei handed everyone a rather peculiar-looking helt, except for Hillena.

Because she carried too many powerful Sealed Objects on her person.

Lynn thought he probably didn’t need such a thing, but for safety’s sake, he wore it anyway.

Soon after, the group formally stepped into the mausoleum space.

And it was at that very mont of entry that Lynn felt an overwhelming tide of divine power sweep over him.

Still, he believed that even without the Shielding Helt crafted by Yorick, he could probably withstand it.

"You’re truly a genius; being able to craft such an artifact, otherwise crossing just this hurdle would be extrely difficult."

Du Wei patted Yorick on the shoulder, giving him an appreciative look.

"Thanks to Her Highness’s generous support regarding the Sealed Objects, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to research it."

Yorick replied truthfully.

Anyone stepping into the mausoleum would be engulfed by the tidal wave of divine power, stripping away their spirit and will, resulting in what Hillena previously described as Shell Syndro, rendering them living dead without a cure.

And this was rely the first test upon entering the mausoleum.

Fortunately, Hillena’s team didn’t co unprepared. Although this test was exceedingly challenging, thanks to the Great Imperial Princess’s substantial support regarding Sealing, they managed to create tools that could resist the "stripping" rule for a short ti.

"Let’s move quickly; the duration of this tool is extrely short, and we must leave this place promptly."

Yorick urged.

Thus, without much delay, the group continued onward into the depths of the mausoleum.

Because Du Wei had entered and exited the mausoleum three tis before, though he hadn’t reached the deepest part, the path ahead proceeded quite smoothly under his guidance.

Until they arrived at a circular stone chamber, where they stopped.

The place was wider than the previous passage, with a high do, as if forcefully hollowed out by so imnse power.

The ancient reliefs on the stone walls had weathered and eroded, leaving behind only vague outlines that could just barely depict a scene of so ceremonial ritual of worship.

In the center of the stone chamber stood a broken stone tablet, which should have been three ters high, now only half remained, its jagged edges looking as if torn apart by so fearful power.
