Daphne already knew what was to co. After all, it wouldn’t be the first ti her poor ring was forcefully shoved onto Drusilla’s finger. Yet, she still held her hand out, entrusting her husband not to damage the precious accessory.

"Please do so, King Atticus!" Duke Lanperouge cried out. He shuffled forward on his knees, now kneeling directly in front of Atticus. If he reached out, he could easily grab onto Atticus’s trousers.

King Cyrus’s face darkened― it was not a very pleasant feeling watching a duke from Reaweth kneel and beg the king of Vramid. Yet, he remained quiet. It wasn’t a ti to engage in petty fights and scores, not when his most precious daughter’s purity was in jeopardy.

He still couldn’t wrap the fact around his head that Drusilla — of all his daughters — had lost her virginity before marriage. He didn’t care about other won in this world but when it ca to his own flesh and blood, a mber of the royal family, it was absolutely disgraceful!

"You can’t do this!" Drusilla screeched. She frantically shook her head, moving as far as she could. "I am a princess―"

Atticus cared not for a single word she was spewing forth from her lips. With one swish of his hand, Drusilla’s body was encased in a thin veil of purple and she straightened up. Her arms plastered down on her sides while her legs stuck together. Even her lips were pressed together, disallowing her from speech.

Drusilla made muffled sounds but with her mouth taped shut by magic, there was not much she could say to fight for her own case. In another flick of his wrist, Atticus controlled Drusilla to stretch out her hand and spread out her fingers.

anwhile, the moonstone ring slipped off of Daphne’s finger, controlled to move towards Drusilla before eventually slotting itself in place.

Watching all of this unfold, Drusilla’s eyes widened even further in horror as she attempted to struggle against Atticus’s magic. It was, of course, to no avail. The grip he had on her was strong and felt as though she was encased in a coffin of steel. She could only watch helplessly as the ring slid onto her finger.

She shut her eyes, praying it was all a dream.

When Drusilla was t with silence, her heart skipped a beat.

’Did the ring fail?’ she wondered. She had half expected everyone to scream, shout, or even just gasp in horror. The sudden lack of sound made Drusilla wonder for a fraction of a second if she was actually, after all, dreaming everything up.

Perhaps it was a nightmare that she was finally about to wake up from.

She cracked an eye — one of the only things that weren’t under King Atticus’s control — open and peeped at the ring. That was when all her hopes were dashed and shattered.

Queen Anette had her hands to her lips, Duke Lanperouge looked smug and relieved at the sa ti, and King Cyrus... her father...

King Cyrus looked livid.

"Drusilla, what is the aning of this?!" he roared in fury, pointing at the Symphony as though it was a cursed object that should be sealed and destroyed.

She shared his sentints― Drusilla, too, wished to destroy the beautiful ring and never let it see the light of dawn ever again. Two tis. It showed her purity — or lack thereof — two separate tis, each ti to a different crowd.

This ti, like the last, the moonstone ring glowed with a rainbow sheen. However, unlike the ti she had worn it at the Crowned Conquest, the sheen was significantly brighter. It was even more so than when Daphne herself wore the ring, a testant to the fact that Drusilla had, indeed, been more promiscuous than her half-sister, a woman who was very much married and in love with her husband.

It was then understood by Drusilla that the silence in the room was nothing to be thankful about. In fact, it was deafening― she was already afraid of the aftermath that was to co.

"I knew it!" Duke Lanperouge was the first to speak up.

He shot to his feet, the blanket nearly ripping from his body due to his sudden action. Atticus’s hands imdiately flew up to shield Daphne’s eyes. He would be damned if he let his lovely wife’s sight be sullied by this crude duke.

Duke Lanperouge adjusted the blanket around his torso. His actions were sloppy but, in his defense, he was simply too excited to give a damn about his own modesty. His innocence, sothing that was much more important, had just been proven true.

"I know a virgin when I fuck one and Princess Drusilla definitely was not one!" he yelled in joy, completely forgetting that the princess’s father and step-mother were both still in the room, along with other family mbers. "No virgin can suck cock as well as you on the first try!"

Hazelle watched in silence, her shock there but not as much as what King Cyrus and Queen Anette felt. Call it a gut feeling but she knew that this pure and innocent little sister-in-law of hers was nothing pure and good. No matter how much Alistair tried to defend Drusilla, Hazelle had her suspicions.

They turned out to be true.

"Watch your words, Duke Lanperouge," Atticus warned, his voice sing-song. He cast a aningful glance at King Cyrus, unable to suppress the giant smile that had taken over his lips. "No father would like hearing that about their own precious little girl."

Duke Lanperouge stilled nearly imdiately, turning around to bow at the old king, whose face was as black as coal.

"Your Majesties," the duke said smugly, "I believe that my innocence has been proven. It was not that had taken your daughter’s purity, and therefore, I believe it unfair that I would need to wed her for her own unchaste decisions."

He stood to his full height and continued, "If you truly wish for Princess Drusilla’s honor to be restored, it would perhaps be best to wed her to the man that had taken her first ti. I’m sure the princess should be able to give you his na."

"Drusilla..." Queen Anette gasped, her mouth still hidden by her hands. Good thing it was too, as she couldn’t hide the smile that had slowly started to slip onto her face.

Drusilla’s downfall was as good as cented! As soon as they got back to the royal palace, Queen Anette would need to handsoly reward her eldest daughter and son-in-law for this job well done.

"Drusilla, who took your innocence?" King Cyrus demanded, his hands clenched into fists as though he longed to put them through an imaginary enemy.

"I... I don’t rember," Drusilla said, tears beading on her lashes. "It had been so long ago. I was―"

"You can’t rember?" Queen Anette interrupted. She had no intention of letting Drusilla make up a sob story to absolve herself of bla. "Too long ago? You have rely turned of age a re two years ago!"

"Maybe she had so many lovers that she forgot which one was the first," Atticus pointed out, cheerfully adding fuel to the fire. "I have to applaud you, King Cyrus, for raising such an...enthusiastic daughter. Reaweth’s n are blessed indeed."

King Cyrus’s face purpled in anger, while Drusilla’s was blanched white.

"I don’t think there are any questions now about Drusilla’s purity now," Daphne said with relish. Her eyes followed after the ring as Atticus controlled it to float back, settling back on her own ring finger. The sheen dulled a little, though remaining still as beautiful and wondrous as ever. "Father, how do you wish to handle this?"

"Drusilla..." King Cyrus let out a world weary sigh. Suddenly, he seed like he aged a decade in the span of minutes. "You have disappointed . It seems like I’ve doted on you in vain."
