Su Ge felt too embarrassed to linger any longer and stepped toward the reception room.
Ye Mubai walked alongside her; after a few steps, Su Ge voluntarily slowed down, intending to walk behind him.
To her surprise, as soon as she slowed down, Ye Mubai’s steps also slowed in tandem. She gave him a slightly astonished glance, but the man’s deanor remained calm. Su Ge roughly understood his intention and quickened her pace slightly, and the two walked side by side into the reception room.
