“Keeping you company?” Madam Mu glanced at her daughter, “Was it really because you were celebrating work?”

Madam Mu didn’t like endless questioning either, so she directly changed the topic, “By the way, your boyfriend, Huo Jiaqi, do you know what kind of background his family has?”
When Madam Mu suddenly ntioned Huo Jiaqi, Mu Zhenzhen looked at her in surprise, then nodded, “Of course I know.”
“Didn’t I go to the Huo Family with Xiao Ge before?”

“No.” Mu Zhenzhen admitted honestly, “I just went once with Xiao Ge before, haven’t been since.”

“Is that so.” Madam Mu seed relieved, “If they often invite you for als, it shows that the Huo Family does value you.”

Upon hearing this, Madam Mu shook her head again, “I’m not worried about you, but as your mother, with you potentially getting married, I can’t help but think about it.”
“It’s still early for marriage.” Mu Zhenzhen blushed and then lowered her head, her expression sowhat complex.
“It’s not too early, Zhenzhen, you’re not that young anymore. Since you have a boyfriend, it’s natural to talk about marriage plans eventually.” Madam Mu held Mu Zhenzhen’s hand, a gentle smile on her face, “I think Jiaqi is a good person. Although there was that misunderstanding before, considering his consistent behavior and the influential background of the Huo Family, it was clear he was set up. I believe Jiaqi is a good man, and in the future, he will take good care of you.”
“Mom, why are you bringing this up out of nowhere?” Mu Zhenzhen pulled her hand away from Madam Mu, feeling uneasy listening to her.
